i got tired of waiting over hour and made a .conf with these nodes;
addnode=54.186.125.97
addnode=54.186.248.126
addnode=95.211.57.109
addnode=192.99.10.27
addnode=37.187.71.108
deleted everything in appdata except wallet and conf,resatrted and was synced in 5 min
Thanks for posting this, I had not seen a connection for about 2 hours. Added these and wallet fired right up and downloaded entire blockchain in under 2 minutes. Upon it completing though, I created 2 addresses, encrypted my wallet and backed it up. After doing that the wallet would not fully start up, redownloaded the blockchain again....all is good with mine now. try this |

I think it's just everyone trying to get on at the same time. It's working but I guess the nodes that are working are having a hell of a time. |

backup your wallet.dat, Delete everything from your appdata/roaming/syscoin folder. Run the new wallet again and just wait. That might help at least. Did all of that before I first started the update. Got rid of everything except my wallet.dat. I'll give it some time before I start fiddling... Yea mine stalled for about 40 minutes, then I restarted again and about 6 minutes running the second time, I got it synced up nicely. |

On the honesty evaluation note, actually these devs should be an example for all altcoin devs terms of honesty and integrity. The fact that the devs returned the 250 BTC indicates these are quite nice and honest young men.
Of course they are about to face a legal prosecution. But ppl should be able to withdraw their investment after this massive failure. ppl deserve to get it back. These devs dont deserve to be paid for this mayhem Why they would face legal prosecution? It is not a criminal case. They are trying to deliver. Our agreement was in relation to an "all or nothing" scenario.
Either the developers release a working platform and get the coins, or they don't and investors get refunded. We have now moved in to the arbitration window of our agreement, and have imposed a 48 hour deadline to resolve the current problems. Had they released nothing before now, they would not have this window, the agreement would have been voided before now. The issues occurred after launch, and that is why they have an extension.
What if the people asking for refunds are less than the ones willing to wait for the devs to resolve issues past the 48 hours? In that scenario, we would have to seek legal counsel (and are planning to do so tomorrow) to see if the agreement can be amended while active, to allow for a partial refund policy based on investor demand. Just burn the refunded coins in that situation. That would bring the coin back to life fast. but but Dan Wasyluk danosphere Team Manager & Coding GeniusCoding Genius, not Coding GOD.
