1  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitOnPlay on: September 08, 2014, 05:21:15 PM
Don't! just don't!!

This is yet another SCAM!

THIS:

I'll quote myself on FB, just now.

Quote
Turns out Bitonplay looks like a scam site; my account was banned/disabled for no reason at all. I contact them here on FB since they don't have an email, phone or anything else for the matter. I've sent screenshots and data to vouch for what they did which was totally unfair and unjustified. They just plain ignored me for more than a week.

Looks like they don't care about anyone and basically do whatever they like with no explanation whatsoever.

They didn't even bothered trying to work with me, asked nicely to check or validate their "system" and nada, my account disabled and ALL my hard earned bitcoins GONE, STOLEN!!

DO NOT USE! do not bring your friends and colleges to this scam site, they will just take your coins whenever least expected!

Let this be a warning, don't let they scam more people! dont let them take your coins away!

I know this may look sketchy, but I did nothing wrong and when asked nice and politely for an explanation, I got nothing. Waited and waited and still nothing... So there, I won't back down now, I'll go right to the end to finish this!

I can provide btc address, exact procedure of my actions and ofc their single "response".

Of course you switch payment address so people would think you're paying, but you're not! you're scamming people, lying and switching names whenever your new site gets burned, ponzi collapsed.

Fedor keeps saying he'll turn you in if you don't payback/refund, I've read it several times now, you better listen to him.

I want my hard-earned coin back. I'll continue to follow you like a shadow, eventually you'll get cought, so why don't you do the right thing?

PAY BACK, return the money you took!.
How much did he scam you for ... I don't understand why people still play these obvious scams... Sad bad luck but investing in a site like this is the equivalent to pissing your BTC down the drain.

I know what you mean, now, after suffering it in flesh..
It was "just" 0.01 BTC, about 6 usd, may it not be much to those rich or with a job, but it was all I had, months of gathering from free faucets.
I needed it that to reinvest and make it grow.

I mentioned in other threads, but here in Argentina you can't just buy us dollars anymore, and the fact I don't own credit or debit cards nor paypal, makes it even worse. So he didn't just scammed me 6 bucks; he took the only shot I had to use a currancy online. FYI: our currancy it's about 12 to 1. AR peso-USD

Hi. Still have not been paid pack nor refunded either. To make matters worse, they renamed & closed the other thread so people wont find out about how many were scammed.
Fedor told this crap of human being to refund those scammed or he'll turn him to authorities, what's up with that?

So this scammer changes name and site and that's it? keeps scamming fools who trust it and/or are as greedy as him... yeah I fall for it too. Thought it could work, but didn't. Other well respected user told me I should research a bit before doing something stupid like for example gambling and feeding scammers, but how I'm supossed to reasearch when there's almost nothing to see -at least for those whom aren't programmers or specialists- hidden emails, new names&accounts, etc.

I want my hard earned bitcoins, from free faucets, took months to gather, you can check all of it here.

Me, sending 0.01 - https://blockchain.info/es/tx/55b74f00ae32bfb271dee1b679d48a4482fc9614143e4497c65d007f121bdcf3

There are 3 "payments" of 0.0003 btc aka 17 cents. And that's all.

Will somebody do something? or will look the other way and let this crook operate under your shelter?

(maybe the same person, fake, not sure) claimed that he was scammed but the scammer gave it all back

I'm not that fucking "same person"
Yep, he did refund.
Old March story.
My transaction to him:

And as I said I will trade his identity Smiley

Regards.

P.S. He paid with interest not to me. He paid some people who really hard-earned coins.
I'm too old (57) and have my own terraminer (overclocked myself) that producing for now approx 0.13 BTC per day from f2pool. It's pretty enough for me.
You can check yourself wallet:
https://blockchain.info/en/address/1FHxvwCfFz3B1VZSAQa71qWGyDbxdfamh4
find f2pool payouts. So my coins is honest. Blockchain warning about double-spending is bug, coz anyone who mined sometimes on p2pool (not f2pool) have such warning. You can check any wallet from p2pool nodes. Because newly generated coins. Here no such errors:

I’m ex-security engineer and have a lot of friends worldwide include different social areas ( I mean guys maybe not so
skilled in network field but professionals with using solder iron for non-trivial methods.)
For me bitcoin phenomenon like amateur radio.

Regards.

Well, first of all, sorry if you took ofense, it wasn't meant for you; at the time I wrote that didn't remember the users name so in order to not injustedly blame someone, didn't name anyone (could have returned to the thread and then verify it, but I didn't).

Now, you got paid up so isn't your problem anymore, and the fact you're auctioning his data isn't loable in my book. I don't get it: if you have his info, either force him to keep his word and pay us, or turn him over! Why would you try to get a sweet deal with our suffering? I mean I don't feel that's a nice thing to do...

I'm 31, unemployed and living in a country with locked policies to buy u$s so those lame 6 bucks he stole, are the only thing I had. No chance of doing it again, I'm not lucky like you to have mining hardware and work the pools, nor the skills to crack him myself. I do know specialists who can do it, but they'll probably charge me, so...

I just want my hard earned coin, and will do anything in my power to get it or ruin someone's life. Which one goes it's not up to me.

Thanks for your input, fedor. No hard-feelings I hope!

Hey all, so as my 1st message, sadly, it had to be a rant.. this guy scammed me too.
Worst thing is that last week, friday, I sent 0.01 like he requested and waited stupidly until today, monday, just in case he really worked monday to friday no weekends.

1º - from me.
https://blockchain.info/es/tx/55b74f00ae32bfb271dee1b679d48a4482fc9614143e4497c65d007f121bdcf3

Then, I did receive 3 payouts, but like 0.0003 BTC each. Here:

https://blockchain.info/es/tx/c45dd212ada2be6494c92383a648ccb94eeeb60e243ac3e48ebf635759571994

So I've lost ALL my f*cking hard earned coins, that I needed to reinvest or buy tf2 keys.

What it motivated me to go ahead and "gamble" was that people here said he was paying, and other guy
(maybe the same person, fake, not sure) claimed that he was scammed but the scammer gave it all back
plus interest, so he gave it a second chance and reinvested.

Now, 2 days later I have noting, I know it was just usd 5.50 and it's nothing to you, but in my country
american dolars are restricted and I don't own cards or paypal, so I can't get them from anywhere but faucets and free sites.

It hurts because that was those 6 bucks were the result of MONTHS of gathering, now I've fell like an idiot, scammed and nothing to show for.

Thank you BCTalk, you're part of the problem, this forums allowed him to publish and also HIDE his email and contact..

Scammer: If you're reading this, I hope you suffer in agony, testicular cancer isn't going to cut it, I wish I could haunt your nightmares every night, hopefully you will be caught and those whom were scammed may have some sort of payback.

I'm not mad, I'm dissapointed. Normally I'm a humble nice person, but one thing I hate and don't condone whatsoever it's people taking advantage (aka f*cking) those who have little to nothing. Prying on victims that can't defend deserves the worst, if I ever find out who you are...
