1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest 5k€ in 5 coins - good selection? on: May 24, 2024, 08:47:10 AM
I feel that memecoins, AI and gaming, also possibly RWA are the upcoming mega trends so I wanna be well prepared for the next bull market

Do you agree that the following selection is decent? I only wanna pick coins that have at least 10x potential

- NEAR Protocol
- Render
- Immutable X
- Shiba Inu
- ONDO

I feel a part of your investment should also be into Bitcoin. It is far more stabel than all the above coins. I think you PEPE is far better than Shiba INU in terms of returns. Take a look into TON as it has also shown a rapid increase in its orice in a few months time. There are speculations of it getting listed on Binance that should boost it's price again.
Don't forget that he created tbisTopic in the altcoin discussion because Bitcoin isn't involved, this person knows about the importance of Bitcoin but he is a altcoin person, you don't need to tell him to invest in Bitcoin.

The truth is Bitcoin is the safest like you said but it is not the best choice the higher returns of investment.

I believe that with Immutable, Render and Ondo you will make better money than investing in Bitcoin, you choose them well OP, even with 10x each from these three will do you justice than investing in Bitcoin.

I don't have Bitcoin though, my x ROI is just more important to me than anything.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What do you think? on: April 06, 2024, 09:42:50 AM
Is this good advice for those who can't afford a hardware wallet?

Using a Bitcoin Electrum wallet or other, disconnect from the internet before generating a new seed and never connecting to the internet again.

Until you are ready to sell everything in that wallet.

Is this practice similar to using a hardware wallet? This advice came from a man I know who said to have been keeping his BTC since 2013 in the same manner, he said the internet/online is the culprit or enemy of every crypto wallet.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What is a best way of taking advantage of BTC dips when away? on: April 06, 2024, 08:49:01 AM
Call me an idiot, I don't care but I believe that this question deserves some answer.

I have been hearing about the importance of buying Bitcoin at the dip and something good strikes my heart.

What if I can't be available when Bitcoin is dumping? What if I am away because in reality I am always busy, you can tell how epileptic my activeness on this forum have become.

Is there anyway to buy Bitcoin dips when I am not available? So this come to my mind straight away.

A bitcoin buy the dip bot, that can trigger a certain price when I am away, is this possible?

Don't tell me to use a centralized exchange, been not active in crypto space means that a centralized exchange can collapse before you come back, I want something in my control.

If you have a better option, don't hesitate to share.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Morpheus Network (MNW) - good investment? on: February 09, 2024, 12:29:05 PM
Maybe it's a good idea to put a couple of bucks in there but I think I like your choice of word " gamble" which I will likely or may not invest in it.

But the fact that it's not popular could give it a chance of making one a good profit which will be withdrawn immediately after hitting the target because surely it may be one of the shitcoins that comes and goes after bull run.

I will have to check em out if you can gamble some funds In it.

I like altcoins that are scarce and have most of their supply in circulation and this ticks both boxes.

Have done some research and watched a few videos on Youtube, some say it could 100x but I will be happy with 20x

Most supply in circulation means nothing, developers can pretend to be buyers, they will create multiple wallet address and start buying themselves, just to deceive people like you, and moreover if you are early to a new project you can't expect the circulation to be huge already.

I jumped in few projects last year, the circulation are around 2% to 8% and the Marketcaps are very small, and today they are over 40 million in market cap and the supply is over 40%, when you are early to a project it's where you will make most money and that's where no one will want to buy.

Trust me, that's the best buying point, just make sure the project is good enough, the investment trick of altcoins is to be early.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bullish 2024 ! on: February 09, 2024, 11:34:17 AM
There are many trash projects that are been launched in this period too, do not let your guide down, you can't start investing your hard earned money in any new project just because their timing smells bull market, even the scam projects are always well funded at times, example is SathoshiVM.

Use your brain, don't be a victim.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Looking for the kaspa miner official space. on: December 23, 2023, 04:06:31 PM
Guys I need the new miner for kaspa but I don't know the right website, I mean the official website to order them, I don't want to buy from other online store because of price and also if something happened I can resend back to company, I feel this miners will increase in price very soon, maybe after the real bull market starts, it could be too late already, any info will be appreciated.

The miners I am talking about specifically is the KS0s

9  Other / Beginners & Help / Nothing beats keeping them safe but I really want to know on: December 04, 2023, 12:24:17 PM
I don't consider this to be a stupid question, I just want to know why.

I can see that some crypto wallets this days are giving their users the option to create new wallet using 12 recovery seeds or 24 recovery seed, but I am confused to which one is safer and more stronger than the other.

Reading a lot about crypto wallet on this forum, I have seen where some said that 12 recovery seed is better and some said that the higher the number of the words the better.

I don't know which is which, but I trust that keeping your recovery seed safe either 12 or 24 is the most important thing to do.

Now what do you think that I am missing here right now? Anything at all? Which one would you prefer out of these two and why?
10  Other / Beginners & Help / It can be totally avoided on: November 24, 2023, 05:19:48 PM
Be careful with third-party app developers, majority of them are criminals, the most common crypto thefts happened through google playstore and even Microsoft app store...

I don't completely blame these scammers but the official stores allowing any third-party developers to post their scam apps on the stores, knowing that they are responsible for millions of people visiting the stores to try out apps and software.

Ledger hardware wallet now can't be trusted because of the theft that happened around this year resulting in over 500 million dollars assets lost, the Microsoft store literally allow these third party criminals called developers to make their fake Ledger Live app available for many people.

As gullible as people can be, they thought the app was from Ledger officially, without doing their findings first they went on and connect their hardware wallet, them must have thing that because it's available on the might Microsoft store itself.

At some point, this fake ledger live app asked people to insert their recovery seed phrase and they did, it shows that many people are just running hardware wallet, they don't understand a thing about it, they order for hardware wallet and they believe that it's impenetrable.

There is no amount of security strategy implemented into your hardware wallet, once you insert it into something else apart from that your very hardware wallet you have given your crypto assets away, even if it's Air-gapped, Cold wallet, or whatever, every security is useless once you give your recovery seed away.

Apart from your hardware wallet itself, once something else ask for your recovery seed it's a scam, not even your hardware wallet official website should ask you that.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Let's talk about the famous crypto myth on: September 25, 2023, 05:56:42 AM
Crypto Investment MYTH.

Never marry your crypto bag....

Investment Reality

Every freaking rich crypto millionaires married their bags so hard that they refused to let go and in the end it work out for them.

Many people are confused when they are told not to ever get married to their bags and yet they are told to HODL, so which one is which?

Bitcoin holders years ago married their bags, today, they are all whales and bosses of their own, the same with Ethereum and BNB, I believe this is a bad advice for all crypto investors.

It's a advice that is mixed up, I believe the right advice should be, never marry your altcoin bag, easy to say right? It's not the same to Bitcoin and ETH, marry your bags and get set forever.

Years ago, there was not many people telling people to hold their Bitcoin, because no one knew its going to be the giant of crypto world in future, well Ethereum comes into play and it was on sale for 0.99$ years ago, if you marry an ETH bag, today your life will never be the same, BNB came into play again and many lives are changed, now tell me, is it over?

12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SEC asked Coinbase to halt trading in everything except BITCOIN, CEO says on: August 01, 2023, 05:45:59 AM
I read this on the Binance app but hardly believed it. Sad

That's interesting, and the only reason that could have made SEC come out with such a conclusion might be the inner digging where altcoins must have been implicated. They have better tools and internal mechanisms than what we see and altcoins might have entirely been Scam/Unfair entities in the name of the scalability and advancement.

I read the news about 10 hours ago but has not helped Bitcoin rise but it rather sells.
True be told, aren't almost altcoins shitcoin? See what a token called BALD running on Base blockchain (Coinbase very own blockchain) did to their investor? They rug pulled and SEC was aware of the disaster.

They are now hunting Richard Heart of Hex and Pulsechain owner too, he has been charges of unregistered securities offerings and millions of people are happy about it, I knew Hex was a scam and why did it took the SEC this long to go after real scams anyway?
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / When it's all set and done, do not forget those in need. on: July 30, 2023, 08:39:28 AM
With the way things are going, Bitcoin will become more valuable in the future.

Few bear markets have happened in past and many have learnt their mistakes

Some don't play with their dollar cost averaging..

Emotions aren't present only with crypto, it's general something in our lives.

Volatility can't be erased in Bitcoin.

But one thing is very certain in this life, we all can't make it, if it's this easy everyone in the world will become a millionaire or billionaire.

If your dream comes true, it doesn't make others useless or lazy, we just all can't get lucky, some will fail and some will win.

Before you say that I am talking trash, Bitcoin investment is like taking from some and feeding others, what this mean is someone is buying from you when you are dumping, it's like the world shape, it goes around.

So instead of showing off how successful you have become always remember that you don't get there alone, it happened through the help of others that bought from you.

So try as much as possible to help those that are in need in your surroundings, or help others that are living far away from you, you can do this anonymously too if you think it's not safe, this is the right way to bring back into the community.

Remember, some things are unexplainable in this world and there are things that are beyond human understanding.

Happy Sunday
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why this Altcoin called Worldcoin could have a huge potential? on: July 26, 2023, 04:39:22 PM
Don't feel more confident on a coin with that massive amount of supply and insanely high value, if you are buying now you are throwing money away, that's too high, a smart investor must consider the market cap of a project and also the circulating supply,

This world coin sucks if you look at the two things I made mention, where is the multiplier coming from? Also it's should have been named Clown Coin instead, that name suits it better.

This type of coin has to dump heavily to favour investors like you OP, DuMP first or no Buying.
15  Economy / Exchanges / You are probably paying more to get your Bitcoin on: July 12, 2023, 08:17:47 AM
My brother from another mother have been a victim to extra spending for the past months and I just discover this recently, I plan to share on here to stop anyone doing the same thing, thinking its easier.

There are few crypto wallets that have features within the wallets where you can buy yourself some Bitcoin and altcoins, this makes it easier and safer to buy coins through wallets no doubt, because you will go through the right links, no scam links, yea they did the work for you, but...

How much are you been charged to buy coins through those wallets? If you are using this feature you have overspend on transaction fee than you should.

My brother was a victim and I discover that the charges are too high, compare to me buying Bitcoin on Binance exchange and withdraw it back into my wallet, the wallet charges 4$ for a transaction where as on Binance it's not up to 1.5$

Not much?

Do this transactions for few times in a month, it's still something, before you know it, 50$ worth of transaction fee will be 100$ fee using exchanges within wallets.

Go on popular exchnages yourself and buy your Bitcoin and withdraw back into your wallet, a little drop of water makes a mighty ocean, stop getting those crypto wallet companies rich.

They are Banks in disguise.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / How are you storing your Brc-20s? on: June 18, 2023, 06:58:15 PM
Is the Bitcoin discussion thread the right place to talk about Ordinals?

Sorry if not and maybe someone should tell me where this fits best on the forum and I will move it in no time, I want to get few numbers of Ordi and I found out that it's not going to be that easy.

I am looking into wallets that support BRC-20, do you know of any that's open source? The few wallets I came across are all web wallets.

Is there anyway to add BRC-20 in popular Bitcoin wallets like Electrum or Trust Wallet?

17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What are the functionality of Bitcoin BIPS on: June 18, 2023, 06:18:58 AM
I have always been a fan of altcoins for a very long time now and now I feel like learning more about Bitcoin and Ordinals is one that triggered this, so I want to ask a question about Bitcoin wallet and their Bips.

I am curious why my Bitcoin wallet has four types of Bitcoin, Bip44, Bip49, Bip86 and Bip84, I don't see people asking questions about them, what are they in existence for? There is oy one Bitcoin I believe but why different Bips and what's the differences and functionalities?

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / About altcoins that are released in a bearish market condition on: June 06, 2023, 10:36:30 AM
Is it right to call a project shit coin when it's been released in a bear market and the value keeps going down,  isn't it expected to go down because it was released in a bear market?
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Quick Bitcoin questions on: June 04, 2023, 07:10:47 PM
Why does it feels like Bitcoin is a better fit for store of value than a payment solution?

Is payment the substantial use case of crypto? If yes then where do you think Bitcoin stands? It cost me 0.20$ to make transactions on other payment solution that's not Bitcoin and it costs me over 1$ to make transaction with Bitcoin, isn't the cheaper always the better choice?

Since some crypto coins have cheaper transaction fee doesn't this make such coins a better fit for payment solution than Bitcoin?.and Bitcoin a better fit for store of value
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Come and let me teach you how to get rich quick on: May 26, 2023, 12:33:37 PM
I know you click on this topic because of the title, the same way those idiots takes advantage of you on Youtube and Twitter, saying they know which projects are best for you.

Here is a fact for people like you.

If you accept this fact early on, then you will have a more successful journey in the crypto space.

You can't just have someone message you with an idea that can change your life, why don't they take advantage of it and get rich first?

They want to use you and it's let for you to use your head.

I don't see rich people willingly going around telling people how to get rich either, they won't.

Let's stop fooling ourselves, everyone is running after something.

Be smart because this crypto space is like a wild west, you are on your own, and the only way to find your way is believing in yourself and the knowledge you are acquiring on this forum.

Nothing comes without a price, work your way up, if everyone has the poor antidote everyone will be rich, including all your neighbors and friends. It's not easy to get rich and that's why people are taking advantage of people.

Work your way UP.
