1  Economy / Economics / Re: Economics on: February 14, 2022, 03:38:52 PM
I may understand it wrong, but aren’t these two things fundamentally different? Behind all those digital currencies you mentioned in here is a regulatory force lead and controlled by a state/bank whereas cryptocurrencies are independent and not regulated. The only thing I could think of, that maybe could affect the ecosystem of crypto is that some people (mostly those who are first interested in crypto but still afraid of having not enough knowledge) might prefer the digital version of their all-day currency over crypto currency. So it seems to be kind of an alternative (though it actually is something different) what might lead to a lower demand of crypto by newbies… at least that’s what I’m thinking.

Haha I feelk like this is a question friendships ended over Wink personally I do like pineapple on my pizza, mainly because I just like mixing in a sweet - especially fruity - component into savoury food. I also like curry that has fruit in it, I enjoy cranberries as a dip for Schnitzel (traditional in Austria), or a cheese platter with grapes and/or figs.
Totally agree with this! (Especially the Schnitzel part Tongue) The combination of fruity/sweet and savoury tastes offers so many interesting and exciting possibilities. Apples and Pork for example, Mango and Curry, orange and chicken - the list goes on and on Wink
But in the end I am not much of a pizza lover but I do like pineapple on it.

Though I am not watching TV quite often, I love it when I find a good movie, that both keeps me thrilled and entertained, but at the same time inspires and makes me think and discuss it further after watching (that’s what a really good movie is to me, but it’s hard to find these). So the last one I watched was Amazon Prime’s “Come Away” (my children wanted to see it) – It is a nice imaginative movie with lovely stories, but is lacking depth. The last movie I watched, which I can honestly recommend is “14 peaks”- a thrilling and adventurous story about an amazing man who definitely goes the extra mile, absolutely inspiring and admirable. Though it is not the classical cinematic story one expects - it is absolutely documentary-style - but anyway very well done.
