1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the disagreement between the Government, Bank and Bitcoin? on: June 07, 2023, 01:45:15 AM
Bitcoin is decentralized and has no control from a central bank or government agency, which somewhat reduces the ability of governments to intervene in the economy.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can NFTs last forever? on: June 07, 2023, 01:42:22 AM
The existence of NFT itself is based on smart contracts on the blockchain, and it cannot be guaranteed to exist forever.

So, what's the point of investing in NFTs if they can disappear in an instant?

The investment significance of NFT lies in its uniqueness and creative potential as a digital asset.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all new Projects are bad, So take the Risk on: February 01, 2023, 06:37:34 AM
I came across a post where an advise was ditch out
for newbies like myself not to get involved in new projects,
due to the risk that follows.

But with all honestly, Some project with 3 to 7 months old have one time becomes Scam, Good  example is OKS CHAIN. The project was over 2 years old, yet end up being scam, as the CEO and other dev cart away with so much money. And abandoned the project.

My experience tells me that everything involves around crypto project, Is about risk, except for the president of them all ( Bitcoin ), The vice ( Ethereum ) and the child ( Binance ). Investing in any of these 3 gives risk free system. As they say experience is the best teacher in life.

So i strongly disagreed with the term of " do not invest in a brand new project " to be risk free. A lot of new project has yielded x50
of my investment to me most of the time, What i usually do, Once they're up, i take off with my investment and interest. This is my experiences.
And i strongly believes by doing this, Will yield high success to everyone and also helps you to minimize the risk of lossing all your funds.
Not every new project will eventually fail, and investing in some new projects will make a lot of money in the early stages. Conduct in-depth research on new projects before investing, and investing in the right projects may have a greater chance of gaining more profits.
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: does the increasing number of altcoins have a negative impact on the price btc on: February 01, 2023, 06:13:57 AM

No matter how many altcoins appear, it will have no impact on the price of Bitcoin. On the contrary, altcoins will be affected by the price of Bitcoin and will follow the trend of Bitcoin price.

Bitcoin already has many users and the largest transaction volume, and many investors will choose Bitcoin as their first asset. While many altcoins in the market are scams, they don’t last long and the projects eventually disappear.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: How much longer until paper money is no longer in circulation? on: February 01, 2023, 06:02:46 AM
There are talks among the world's major central banks to begin the creation of their own digital currencies (Central Bank Digital Currencies for that matter). The launch of Bitcoin, and the widespread popularity of "De-Fi", has led governments to act fast before they're left behind the game. They know they can't beat Bitcoin, so they will try to be in-par with it by launching digital currencies of their own. The average person won't notice any difference with the new digital cash system, as everything would be the same as using a credit/debit card.

I'm beginning to question whenever CBDCs will be able to replace paper money for good, or will it co-exist with the old system? After all, credit/debit cards didn't manage to replace paper money when they launched. For being in the 21st century, I'd say paper money should be phased out as soon as possible. Everything should turn digital, as we live in a digital society.

How long do you think it will take for paper money to be phased out for good? Will CBDCs be able to replace not only paper money but also credit/debit cards? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley
Paper money will not be eliminated. Although digitalization is a trend now and digital currency is very convenient, there are still many people who do not use smartphones. Many people still rely on paper money, and its use has become habitual.
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The patience to hold is a gift on: February 01, 2023, 05:49:53 AM
To hold especially for an average investor is a strong contention to deal with. Over and again we hear the echo of hold from every where around the crypto industry. Long term will always pay big someday but for the investors who have nothing to spare their investment could be tempting. The urge to withdraw will always come. Sometimes not for pleasure but to solve pressing needs.

If the bull run ever start again do you think it will be massive for small and medium investors. I mean those who start up their Bitcoin holding investment with an amount as low as $100. I have been trapped  having conversations involving Bitcoin investment and the major concerns of this folks has been how much their ROI will be if the invest. How long will it take for the bull run to resume and lots of many complicated questions. If I don't like overhyped discussions so I just tell them it is far better compared to having their money saved in the bank for 1 year doing nothing I do this to avoid been held by my words if things goes wrong.

Recommending someone to invest in Bitcoin is some how risky. If the don't have the patience to wait for the bull season to commence the might sell at a loss and but the blame on the introducer. And many likes attributing their failures to someone then their success to their personal effort. I have learnt from past experience that before I recommend Bitcoin to a newbie I will first ask how long the can hold for and that will determine if I will be willing to proceed with guidance or end it there.

Bitcoin is more suitable for long-term investment. It is important to invest in Bitcoin and hold it patiently. Being patient in a market downturn is not easy for most investors. If you can control your emotions and continue to accumulate and hold, you will get rich returns.
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there best way to seek people's attention on bitcoin? on: January 12, 2023, 06:39:45 AM
Sorry to say from my title i decided to know if there is any modalities, methods or best way to attract and seek attention out there to let people know about bitcoin without going to speak with them Face 2 Face (F2F) discussion reason because they act to be too busy to pay attention whenever i seems to approach to them.
From my little understanding I have nothing much to support to the community rather preaching about bitcoin and it's adoption to my localities and I believe if I does many would hear it and pick interest towards it and if one picks interest then there is every possibilities they could also convince their friends to pay attention by so doing I would achieve lot of things by helping to spread the max adoption.
From my understanding, I never hold any bitcoin or something else but I love it from the very onset I began to know about it which I picked interest upon myself to evangelize to the world.

Please keep in mind this post wasn't created for merits purpose but as a way to gear up the acceptability and adoption of bitcoin.

Thank you as we discuss the ways, maybe it would be very easier for me to carry out my mission and vision.
Before promoting it to others, you must first pay attention to and understand Bitcoin yourself, and you must have a wealth of knowledge and experience. Tell them about the freedom and benefits they have had since starting their Bitcoin journey. When they are curious about Bitcoin, they will learn about it from the media.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How profitable it is possible to invest in bitcoins in the new year 2023. on: January 12, 2023, 06:26:19 AM
Bitcoin is certainly worth investing in. Now the market price is slowly rising, but I don't know how the market will develop in the future. Invest in Bitcoin without expecting to make a quick profit. Investing in Bitcoin can be profitable and rewarding in the long run.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Free crypto possible ? Or impossible? on: January 02, 2023, 06:57:09 AM
There are still airdrops where you can get free cryptocurrency. But it is really rare to want valuable airdrops in crypto winter. The easier it is to get for free, the less valuable it is.
Therefore, if you want to get more returns in the encrypted market, you must learn research knowledge and skills to obtain ways to make money.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How important are exchanges? on: January 02, 2023, 06:18:59 AM
Bitcoins can exist without exchanges, but would you support the argument that the existence of exchanges are among the factors facilitating the popularity and accessibility that people have to bitcoins?

Exchanges are very important for any cryptocurrency. Trading among bitcoin traders has become easier through exchanges where people can buy and sell it easily. Exchanges have boosted the popularity and trading volume of Bitcoin, and also brought more users into the crypto space.
11  Other / Archival / Re: Long-term Bitcoin accumulation continues on: January 02, 2023, 06:10:35 AM
As much as people may claim that 2022 was a disappointing year for cryptocurrencies, I beg to differ. I'm not actively purchasing Bitcoin, but I'm saving each signature campaign payment I receive, which is pretty much the same thing. On average, I'm "purchasing" $200 worth of Bitcoin per month. The amount of Bitcoin I received in 2022 is significantly larger than in 2021. Thus, this market condition is a great opportunity to acquire as much as possible for the distant future, when we'll hopefully start seeing a recovery.
It is a good choice to accumulate Bitcoin for a long time, especially during the bear market, it is very suitable for buying and accumulating. The Bitcoin halving period is approaching, Bitcoin will become rarer, and it will inevitably become more and more valuable. Now is a great time to hold and buy Bitcoin, accumulating and benefiting from a bull market.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Use your money wisely. Invest or Deposit ? on: January 02, 2023, 05:51:05 AM
Saving money in the bank and investing is risky, nothing is perfect and absolutely safe. Banks are centralized and may face bankruptcy resulting in frozen or even lost funds. Invest the bulk of your funds in Bitcoin and save for an emergency fund. Holding Bitcoin for a long time can look forward to one day earning more profits.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you ready to spend crypto when market is down on: December 28, 2022, 06:30:40 AM
In my opinion when the market is down like right know Im not going to spend it my crypto unless using if for daily purposes like withdrawing the crypto for a monthly bill. the best time when the market is down is to accumulate more coin and token stake it and enjoy when the bullish month coming.
A market downturn is the best time to accumulate more cryptocurrency than to spend it faster, let alone sell at a low price. Be patient and wait for the market to recover and start reaping the really big rewards from it.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will not become the world currency. on: December 28, 2022, 06:13:33 AM
The emergence of Bitcoin is a good asset to store, not to become a world currency. Bitcoin will not replace national legal tender, it will never be regulated and restricted by the legal government, it is free. People are more willing to use Bitcoin as an investment asset to make a profit.
15  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Will there ever be any safe centralised exchange ? on: December 27, 2022, 08:42:46 AM
I was wondering if there could still be any safe centralised exchange in the blockchain industry. Of lately lots have been unveiling itself and centralisedexchanges are at the end of it all.  Does it mean that these centralised exchanges that are in existence lacks the capability to safeguard assets and funds after attracting investors and traders to their platforms for engagement and activities?
How do you explain these things to the people whom have entrusted their funds and assets to you for safe keeping hoping that what they gave to you is under safe care only to wake up to a sad news of their assets being stolen by hackers. How do you explain all these.

At first identifying the problem is a basic course for rendering solutions. If these problems are not identified immediately by the exchanges for quick remedy then who's to be blamed for it. Do they really do constant check on their service to know their lapses, if they do, do they identify it immediately with utmost attention? Do they do a constant check and evaluation on their staff and  mechanisms.

With all these said, what are your opinions on this subject matter as I feel this needs to be looked into for possible measures to be taken for  so as to further prevent or minimise the rate at which exchanges get hacked or being careless with investors and traders funds.
Not all exchanges are perfectly safe. We don't trust any centralized exchange completely, if the exchange goes wrong or gets hacked, a lot of money will be lost. So keep your funds safe in your own wallet and keep your own keys for extra security.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: A career - as an employee or a business owner which do you prefer and why? on: December 27, 2022, 08:27:39 AM
Everyone wants to be a business owner, make more money doing what they love, and no one needs to control us. But not everyone can be a business owner, which requires financial support and ability. Because not everyone can easily succeed in any investment.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should be very careful with alts on: December 27, 2022, 07:58:35 AM
A lot of altcoin projects just get funding for their own benefit and leave. Altcoins, while offering the opportunity to make huge profits, are only temporary. If you do not grasp the correct timing of buying and selling, you may lose money.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market will come back bigger again on: December 27, 2022, 06:31:45 AM
Hello guys,
With this ordeal going on it seems much-lost faith and bailed as if the whole market is going to vanish. This kind of thing happens more often in the stock market with inside trading, embezzlement, etc. In reality, it’s a perfect time to get in with everything dropping so low. It will come back and come back bigger than ever after this dies down and there will be improvements to hopefully prevent this from happening again. So do not lose hope and know that the bad time will inevitably pass, and you may not be able to make up for this opportunity again. Just my opinion.
The market after a bear market gets stronger. It may take a long time for the market to recover. Now is a good time to invest, the market will rise at the right time in the future, and the value of the currency will continue to increase.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The goodness of long-term investing in cryptocurrency on: December 09, 2022, 08:35:48 AM
Long-term investment may make investors safer, but it is also vulnerable to huge losses, and risks still exist.
The market is highly volatile and any investment is risky. For long-term investors, Bitcoin is more suitable. Investing in it for the long term will increase your chances of making a profit when the market returns to a bull market.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is the most Preferred Choice on: December 09, 2022, 07:36:22 AM
Bitcoin is preferred over others because it has a positive history where when the price has dropped, it always recovers, and sometimes, it exceeds the investor's expectations because bitcoins price reached a new ATH just like what happened in the last bull-runs. right now, they have high trust and they are always buying some bitcoins whenever the price is low because of the past history where the price will always recover, they don't feel any doubt rather they are just relaxed and steady. compared to the other altcoins, some are always failed and most of the time cannot recover their old high price and continue to fall until it no longer in the market.

Many people regard Bitcoin as the first choice for investment. Because there is greater growth potential in cryptocurrencies. And Bitcoin is the most valuable asset anyone, anywhere can own. It also provides investors with a better rate of return, which has aroused great interest from investors.
