1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PASL]-[PASCAL Lite]-[The Future is Almost Here] on: November 04, 2018, 06:43:02 PM
This coin was so promising. What happened?
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: February 06, 2018, 05:21:01 PM
How come OpenBazaar doesn't accept Monero?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PASC] PascalCoin, true deletable blockchain - V2 protocol active! on: February 06, 2018, 04:14:38 PM
Are there any plans for a web wallet?

Is there a need for a web wallet? A new nodes syncs in less than 5 min.

I'm on a Mac and there is no desktop wallet available.

be patient people! Stox only raised $40 million. Theres not enough money left to get listed on more exchanges.

Quote from Discord:

"Our upcoming roadmap for the future (Currently no ETA )
1) We will be rebranding from PascalLite. Reason being is stated in point 2 posted below. Our new coin name will be Personalized Accounts and Secured Ledger Coin. Ticker will remain PASL.
2) Reason for rebrand is due to the source code that PASL is currently written on. Its written with PASCAL which has proven to be very unstable for any crypto/blockchain based networks. Its actually easier just to rewrite the code in a completely new language than continue with Pascal. The new language will most likely be C++ or GO. This one language will be much more stable than Pascal and hopefully won't lead to any daemon crashes or bugs and hopefully no more offline Crytopia wallets.
3) .....

I would like to see a proof that the Pascal language is "very unstable".

The source code of PascalLite probably has a lot of bugs, because a team with only one single dev is unable to maintain the code. But don't blame Pascal for that.

I think there's more than one dev.

Cryptonight?
RIP nvidia rigs...  Sad

Is the Safe Box going to work with Cryptonight?

It would be interesting. When there is a change of algorithm?

Like I said I'm not sure by 100% - maybe I'm just spreading shit so better wait for an official announcement by the dev.

EDIT:

3) Due to the threat of upcoming Baikal Pascal ASIC. Also the potential for a future Bitmain PASCAL asic, we decided that the coin would be safer remaining an GPU only coin. Hence in the future we will change the algo most likely to Cryptonight.
Your coins will remain safe, the blockchain will remain the same, all this will most likely be done by a hard-fork. This is actually very positive because it will make our coin more stable and we will no longer be known as a Pascal CLONE."

PASC itself is going to be re-coded in C# isn't it?

Personalized Accounts and Secured Ledger Coin does have a certain ring to it.
12  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN] OpenBazaar - A Decentralized Market Platform on: January 25, 2018, 07:36:16 PM
I have read somewhere that you guys are going to shift to Bitcoin Cash as the preferred payment option now or is this just

a rumour? I hope it is just a rumour, because I am surely not going to support a platform where the merchants are only

allowed to accept one type of coin. BTC is the worlds strongest coin and I think it will be a mistake to turn your back on that.

but the transaction fees are so high

Why are there so few posts on here?

Why aren't their seller reviews?
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Stox - Prediction market platform | Token sale has ended on: January 06, 2018, 05:47:10 PM
Is there any smart money in this coin?
What do you mean by that?

I guess he is drunk and asking some stupid questions which have no sense on this thread.Excited to see the small pump with stox and all other alts as well.

I mean: are any smart people investing in this?
16  Bitcoin / Project Development / Best way to distribute BTC dividends? on: January 01, 2018, 06:36:03 PM
Lets say I want people to be able to buy shares in some sort of decentralized entity. Then when the entity has Bitcoin revenue, I want the entity to distribute the revenue to "shareholders" in proportion to their ownership stake. Whats the best way to do this?

18  Other / Meta / Re: Why do people post "Reserving (language) translation"? on: December 16, 2017, 05:40:34 PM
Seems like a ridiculous way to decide who translates it. Why don't they just pay to have it professionally translated by someone reliable?
19  Other / Meta / Why do people post "Reserving (language) translation"? on: December 16, 2017, 05:08:57 PM
What does that even mean? I've been wondering this for years and thought I'd finally ask.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: December 15, 2017, 06:31:55 PM
Why does Dash have a higher market cap than Monero? It seems like an inferior solution that's much less elegant. Masternodes seem vulnerable and you have to take action to send Dash anonymously. Also, isn't Monero more widely used in commerce?
