2  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: I may have found an multi-chain opensource wallet on: April 11, 2022, 07:23:23 AM
How about Unstoppable wallet by Horizontal systems?

I think It's a much better multichain open source wallet. On top of that, it's reproducible too and has been tested by wallet scrutiny
You can check the analysis done 2 weeks ago here - https://walletscrutiny.com/android/io.horizontalsystems.bankwallet/

Whereas cake wallet has not been proven to be reproducible from the source provided according to an analysis 12 months ago - https://walletscrutiny.com/android/com.cakewallet.cake_wallet/

Its better to stick with trust wallet, it has fewer issues than many mobile wallets, about this unstoppable wallet there are complains about fund missing and swap taking too much money, you need to read some reviews on playstore first before using, also zcash blockchain takes forever to sync correctly, its very slow.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: who is behind shiba inu on: March 28, 2022, 06:54:10 AM

shiba inu is somehow growing. its a memecoin. but its already listed on Binance. there are tons of meme coins out there, but not listed on Binance. some meme coins even more popular too,

I think there is a huge man behind this project.... how about your thoughts?

Not totally a huge man, Shiba Inu just benefit on the hype of Dogecoin before as the first copy meme coin of dogecoin. The team just maximize there funds coming from investors to focus on marketing and build a strong community to shill Shiba Inu on there own in mainstream media and social media. Binance is just using the Shiba community to get profit out if the transaction fee coming from Shib token traders.
Don't get this twisted friend, if shiba inu sucks dogecoin influence won't work on this project, shiba inu has an amazing creator that's all, shilling and hyping are just tools to attract the masses but if the project has no good team it will crumble in no time, shiba inu is different.

Newbies should spend more time reading rather than posting/creating topics.
You did the same thing years ago (2018), every high-rank members are once newbies themselves and they create topics and posts to rank up, what the heck are you even saying? That I shouldn't create topics? I guess that's why you are still a Full member since 2018.

It will make more sense when you no longer create thread like this because it is knowledge that was discussed a thousand times before you signed up.
There are more useful thread that you might refer to for increasing your knowledge, but I must say that you don't need to create threads like this anymore. Welcome to the forum.

Instead of creating a thread where all the content is already known to many people, I would suggest you to provide understanding for another newbie when they want to answer their questions. It looked better for efforts to gain merit from other users.
I thought newbies find their way to this forum almost every day? Creating such a topic as this won't hurt, the first page of this Beginners and Help section has nothing like this warning, it makes sense to repost something like this once in a while, those who will read and learn something will and those who won't care won't.

I'm new to bitcointalk but not crypto, if you like heeding to advices here are what I learnt the hard way.

1. Don't put all eggs in one basket.
2. Avoid connecting your wallet to too many exchanges (Defi Platforms).
3. Don't screenshot your seed-phrase and store in your phone.
4. Be careful, some people will pretend they are bringing to you a good offer, instead, they are intentionally taking.
5. Avoid risky airdrops, don't click too many scammer links anywhere you don't trust. The scammers won't say: "Hey give me your seed phrase", they will say something unique and desirable.
