1  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: [Unsolved] Electrum LockTime? Change Adress? 1,7BTC are away? on: March 16, 2022, 06:39:31 PM
It's quite difficult to follow what you write.... and I am not so familiar with Wasabi wallet.

So you sent 1.7 BTC from your Electrum to your Wasabi.
Is bc1qma22seqtka0kn8z7znuqqlze3tgtg2ag2jus3y an address in your Wasabi wallet? (Is this your transaction?)

After that, the money from bc1qma22seqtka0kn8z7znuqqlze3tgtg2ag2jus3y was somehow sent in different directions, which I guess is normal for CoinJoin Wasabi. I can't understand that part - just because of CoinJoin - but:
* all the money went from bc1qma22seqtka0kn8z7znuqqlze3tgtg2ag2jus3y to bc1qd4utkg8x75275jju5n484adkck6jhyf7ra23qn (2022-03-09).
* then from bc1qd4utkg8x75275jju5n484adkck6jhyf7ra23qn to many other wallets in many steps (2022-03-10)
* then later (2022-03-14) bc1qd4utkg8x75275jju5n484adkck6jhyf7ra23qn has received 0.00001 BTC (but it may not matter if it is not your wallet)

-----< Okay, so it's possibly a Wasabi CoinJoin issue or it's not my wallet. Pasted the zpub from wasabi into electrum but can't find the address bc1qd4utkg8x75275jju5n484adkck6jhyf7ra23qn there, my wasabi coins don't show up in electrum either. I have 1.6 btc on wasabi.
only 0,38 btc are shown to me on electrum, these coins are also unwashed. So in Electrum only the unwashed coins are shown to me. Could it be that I sent something to a washed wallet that I don't have access to?

I don't know how long it takes to mix your coins, but this looks like either a Wasabi/CoinJoin problem if bc1qma22seqtka0kn8z7znuqqlze3tgtg2ag2jus3y is your Wasabi address, or clipboard malware if bc1qma22seqtka0kn8z7znuqqlze3tgtg2ag2jus3y is also an address you don't know.

Can I use the xpub key to check if the address belongs to my wallet? Please there must be a mistake, have been saving for this for a very long time. I can't just lose 60k, my life is screwed.

You can import xPub into Electrum and check there. If it's important, as long as it's just xPub, you're safe.
But I would start by checking where bc1qma22seqtka0kn8z7znuqqlze3tgtg2ag2jus3y belongs. Then go step by step.
Your weird way of quoting + long text makes it a bit hard to follow.

-----bc1qma22seqtka0kn8z7znuqqlze3tgtg2ag2jus3y this address is a change address from Electrum, which I have activated in settings to make it difficult for third parties to see.

Could it also be a software bug or is my PC infected by viruses?

It could be many things, but without knowing which transactions belong to you and which addresses belong to you, I will not say more because I can be very wrong.

-----I understand, thank you for taking the time for me, I am very grateful.

Hello I have maybe another possibility how this 1.7 BTC could disappear, I have about 1 month Wasabi not opened, where I have created the generated address was at the bottom of Wasabi still Download Filters, can it be that the Wasabi BTC Node, has made a mistake?

hello ?
3  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum LockTime? Change Adress? on: March 15, 2022, 09:18:20 PM
The address you say you don't own - bc1qd4utkg8x75275jju5n484adkck6jhyf7ra23qn - received your transaction of 1.7 BTC and then pushed all those Bitcoins out about 5 hours later.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Can I use the xpub key to check if the address belongs to my wallet? Please it must be a mistake, have been saving for this for a very long time. Can't just lose 60k, my life is fucked.

------

The address you claimed to send to - bc1qn5du7qaznptldavyumlnlpyu58l6uvg897jnf2 - only received your 1000 sat test transaction.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Okay that means only one transaction was received?
------

The transaction that sent the coins to the wrong address - f94f2d08c402542b6cf350fa087466ee4b7f2a88675432bace86c372921437a4 - was confirmed in the same block as its parent transaction - 75ebe6d9f926fa596e22461104f6648279172ca0045c8e778b008fa1497efc18. This parent transaction appears to be a large consolidation transaction with 337 inputs and 1 output. Where did this transaction come from? Did you create it yourself?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Is it really a fake address or is this address not showing up in my wallet? Really need to be very sure.

Have only created one transaction but are showing two debits.
--------------

It could be a duplicate issue due to an unconfirmed parent transaction, which is why the transaction was displayed in Wasabi for a few minutes before it disappeared. The fact that the 1.7 BTC has already left the address you sent it to means that it definitely didn't come from one of your wallets by mistake, but is owned and operated by someone else. Either you sent the coins to an exchange or another third-party account where you accidentally copied the address, or you were scammed in some way.

I also note that your transaction is RBF enabled, so possibly someone with access to your private key(s) replaced your transaction with their own one after you transferred it.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Could it also be software errors or is my PC infected by viruses?

and if I sent these bitcoins to an exchange could I also get them back?  Or how do I know which exchange it is.

Is it possible to send a message to wallets?

My keys are on a USB stick encrypted with Veracrypt only I know the password.

Thanks for your answer! I am very grateful for it.

This is quite a strange case. Did you have the amount you were trying to send in your wallet for some time, or did you just receive it?
My best guess is that the original transaction from Electrum to Wasabi was a parent transaction of an unconfirmed parent transaction, and that this unconfirmed transaction was invalidated by double spending.

-----------------------------------------------------

I can send you the BTC address, could you verify it?

Can you tell me what happened or could have happened, it is not little money is 1.7 BTC that just disappeared.

On Electrum I had 1.7 BTC I wanted to send to Wasabi, were also briefly displayed on Wasabi wallet after 3 min when I went back to my PC they were gone.

This address is from the Send tab with the mark unpaid.

bc1qn5du7qaznptldavyumlnlpyu58l6uvg897jnf2

i sent with another wallet 0,0001 btc as test again to test if it goes in at wasabi also went in. Wasabi showed me a message.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
I received the 1.7 BTC on this address but it is not shown in my wasabi wallet. I also sent 0.0001 btc from my other wallet to this address to test. These did not arrive and I was also not notified of the receipt of the btc at wasabi.

bc1qd4utkg8x75275jju5n484adkck6jhyf7ra23qn

Can please explain what happened to me?

5  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum LockTime? Change Adress? on: March 14, 2022, 11:59:37 PM
I transferred bitcoins from Electrum to my other wallet, they showed as unconfirmed in the other wallet, then after 3 minutes the bitcoins were just gone.
What was the other wallet?
When you say "gone", from where? Gone from Electrum? Gone from the other wallet? Out of both of them? They first showed up in the other wallet and then disappeared?
--------------------------------------------------------------
I sent the bitcoins from Electrum to Wasabi. My Wasabi wallet briefly showed that the coins were received, after 3min when I went back to the PC the coins were no longer on Wasabi or Electrum.  On Electrum I found on the Send tab a transaction that was not executed, which contains the address of wasabi. Status: unpaid. But in the transaction history were displayed that the bitcoins have already been sent also confirmed.

The address from the transaction history is different from the address that is unpaid on the send tab.

I have sent to test again 0.00001 BTC, to the respective addresses with the mark unpaid and the BTC address from the transaction history in the hope that the wallet updates itself and in my Wasabi wallet the lost money is displayed.

The bitcoins of 0.00001 have been received on the address marked unpaid on my wallet and also got a notification. Only the 0,00001btc on the address from the transaction history of Electrum was notified on wasabi no receipt.

I compared the addresses and it was not the same as my wallet address
So the address you sent the bitcoin to was not the same address you copied from your other wallet? Sounds like you have a clipboard malware.
------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't know, I copied the address from Wasabi and pasted to Electrum normally and hit send like I always do.
I didn't check before but the PC was freshly booted and only Electrum and Wasabi were open and I didn't copy anything before.

Quote from: useruserbtc on Today at 09:01:54 PM.
Could it be due to LockTime?
No. LockTime simply prevents the transaction from being mined until a certain time. It has nothing to do with sending coins to change addresses.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Okay I see so it can't be that the coins are changing to another address and only transferred to the address after the lock time has expired.

Thanks for your answer! Am just really despairing.
6  Bitcoin / Electrum / [Unsolved] Electrum LockTime? Change Adress? 1,7BTC are away? on: March 14, 2022, 09:01:54 PM
Hello dear community,

I hope you can help me, I have a problem.
I transferred bitcoins from Electrum to my other wallet, they were displayed unconfirmed in the other wallet, then after 3 minutes, the bitcoins were just gone. I compared the addresses and it was not the same as my wallet address, now I noticed that LockTime was set on Electrum. Gladly I send you the address, but do you know approximately what the problem is ?

Can it be because of LockTime?
and with LockTime the bitcoins are stored on a change address and then transferred to the recipient address ?

Best regards
