1  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Best Bitcoin mining software for linux? on: June 27, 2022, 04:03:24 AM
CGMiner

CGMiner is the most famous out of these all. It is based on the CPU miner.

BFGMiner
BFGMiner is more or less the same as CGMiner. The only major difference is that it doesn't focus on GPUs like CGMiner but instead it is designed specifically for ASICs.

Nice hash

This bitcoin mining software offers cloud mining services, it provides mining software to bitcoin persons who can get you GPU/CPU and you will start earning bitcoins.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There too much information about btc on: June 10, 2022, 06:29:09 AM
Well, yes the internet and forums are with the information about bitcoin and trading. It is an interesting topic to read and know about.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying BTC vs Mining it on: April 22, 2022, 08:25:58 AM
Buying bitcoin is probably the easiest way to get your hands on some cryptocurrency. It's relatively straightforward and simple, but it's also expensive.

Bitcoin miners are also buying up graphics cards like crazy, which means you might have trouble finding one if you wait too long (or pay too much for one).

Mining bitcoin requires a lot of powerful hardware and cheap electricity. If you don't have the right setup, it could actually cost more to mine than the value of the coins you end up with.

All time favourite movie would be About time. Time travel movies are interesting and it just makes you think deeply.

You need to be able to differentiate between scammers and legit traders who actually want to help you. The only way you can achieve this is through learning the various tips as you build your network and grow as a trader. Set realistic goals in the beginning so you don’t expect too much, too soon. This is not a place to make quick money. Through strategies and plans maintaining discipline, will you be able to reach your desired goal.
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you tell your friends about your crypto achievements? on: April 14, 2022, 05:38:13 AM
It might be a bit redundant to do that, since it can come off as bragging and acting superior. It may be better to bring it up casually or mention it in passing, since OP did say they want to tell others about it. It’s completely understandable to want to tell your friends, but keep in mind that they won’t all be as happy for you as you expect them to be. However, it is your decision at the end of the day, good luck!
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The reason people join bitcointalk forum on: April 12, 2022, 06:52:10 AM
It’s a good way to build your network and share ideas and thoughts, listen to different perspectives and get a better understanding of how to start. It is also a good way to clear any doubts that may keep an individual from continuing their journey.
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies Learn From Your Senior Colleagues. on: April 12, 2022, 06:39:49 AM
Yes, a newbie must observe how an experienced trader works their trades but it does not mean they have more knowledge. Expert traders come with experience but newbies do have an idea and are open to making changes. While every trader has a different approach depending on their goals, it is important to be consistent in trading and upgrading knowledge.

I think you should consider backing up your seed phrase on a steel sheet as they happen to be offline. Two devices out of the four that you’ve mentioned can get damaged after a period of time. Also, even though it is in four locations in your house, you may have family who might find it, it may still not be secure.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe it is to invest in cryptocurrency on: April 08, 2022, 06:05:00 AM
When it comes to dealing with money, I don’t think it could ever be safe. However, if you have a clear mind and are certain you won’t get lost in translation, then sure, it can be safe, as long as you take measures like secure your wallet and do not pass the password to multiple people.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: imagine a world without Bitcoin on: April 07, 2022, 08:12:05 AM
Having experienced both worlds with or without, I think it’s much better than individuals having an independent financial system. It is also good for the balance of the economy. A world without bitcoin would just remain stagnant, stuck in a loop, where the rich continue to get richer, the poor stay poor.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Scams now the second largest in the world on: April 07, 2022, 08:01:48 AM
When you come across ads that portray winning a huge amount for zero or no price, then it’s probably a good idea to skip it, it's definitely a scam. Since the cryptocurrency industry is booming, there’s a lot of money involved, so yes, it gets pretty convenient for the internet scammers to take over. Keep your plan focused, tighten your security belt and stay away from these fraudsters.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why more women to trade crypto? on: April 07, 2022, 07:50:31 AM
It is disgusting to bring gender into a platform created for ‘anyone’ to join. It entirely depends on an individual if they choose to invest into bitcoin, be it a man or a woman. Gender equality and Feminism seems to be a little off topic and has no relevance to investments.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Curbing Blockchain evolution? on: April 06, 2022, 05:16:12 AM
I don’t think it’ll help any of these countries, as everyone around the world has invested in bitcoin, it also helps the market flow and circulates profit, sometimes rumours either make or break your thought process, it may create the fear of uncertainty, but you must already be prepared for fake news regarding the latter.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Your Kids Aware Of Bitcoin? Teach Them. on: April 06, 2022, 05:07:22 AM
This is a good idea. I think children, when given responsibility at a younger age, gain discipline, a sense of being and how to survive in this cruel world. It’s great and you should definitely talk to your kids about it.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Happens to One's Bitcoin if Death Occurs? on: April 05, 2022, 05:46:58 AM
I think it’s best if you trust your partner or a friend with your wallet credentials in case anything were to happen to you, keeping in mind that this person shouldn’t backstab you in any way.
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How secured is fingerprint lock on wallet? on: April 04, 2022, 07:41:21 AM
It is better to be safe than sorry. Adding a layer to your security only protects you from further risk since there are many fraudsters or scams out there, you can never fully trust anything. I suggest you go retro and use a pin and password to have full control of your wallet at all times, even when you're asleep.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When and how did you discover Bitcoin? on: April 04, 2022, 06:55:22 AM
I heard about bitcoin for the first time through friends. It was a hot topic back then as it is now, so I did a little bit of research and thought it was best to wait until I find out everything that I need to know before getting into it. It’s been a while since I’ve started trading crypto and it’s a great journey.
