By providing easy-to-use APIs, we are able to provide integration of the distributed products data to ERPs, ecommerces and marketplaces, and transparency and consumption awareness to the buyer, who is able to have access to complete and relevant information about a product before it is purchased, ensuring greater satisfaction by acquiring what was really expected. Taking action against climate change is imperative and we take care to include data about the product/packaging's material as essential information, so that consumers are aware of their carbon footprint and will be able to arrange for proper disposal after consumption.

TCPR - Token Curated Product Registry

The Token Curated Product Registry (TCPR) is our decentralized mechanism for curating product information, forging a reliable database on the blockchain, and empowering the community with intrinsic incentives in WWIRE tokens.

In the TCPR, token holders are given the responsibility of curating the information in the database. They are incentivized to do so by earning rewards in the form of tokens for accurately and truthfully curating the information. This incentivization mechanism ensures that token holders have a vested interest in maintaining the accuracy and quality of the information in the database. In addition, the decentralized nature of the TCPR means that there is no central authority or intermediaries that can manipulate the information, providing a level of trust and transparency to users.

The TCPR system is being built by Wireshape around the TCR concept and the pioneering work done by Mike Goldin from ConsenSys in his Token-Curated Registries 1.0 paper.

In conjunction with the Wireshape Blockchain, the Wireshape DAO is being created to promote transparency, collaboration, and exclusivity among participants. Through the DAO, users will be able to contribute to the development and growth of the project, while also earning rewards for their contributions.

The Wireshape DAO's structure is based on the principles of collaboration and transparency, where all decisions and actions are publicly recorded on the blockchain, and members are encouraged to participate actively in governance processes. This ensures that the project remains community-driven, with all members having a say in its development and direction.

The metaverse market is booming owing to increasing demand from end-use industries, but the content streaming environment of the Metaverse will likely require a huge computational efficiency improvement. Investment will be needed in areas such as compute, storage, network infrastructure, consumer hardware, game development platforms and 3D content development.

I believe and I bet that in the near future people will produce and consume 3D models on the Metaverse as they produce and consume photos and videos today.

And what problem is Wireshape looking to solve?

E-commerces need reliable and complete information about the products for sale and do not have a method with standardized content that feeds their system and sustains their demand.
The consumer ends up buying without knowing the product, resulting in dissatisfaction and returns.

Why does this happen?

• Data registration and consultation services are bureaucratic and expensive.
• Centralized curator and provider of information, no consumer audit.
• Typically only GTIN/EAN, product name and manufacturer are provided.
• Registering products in the ecommerce system manually or without a standard.
• Relevant number of product reviews only on major marketplaces (monopoly).
• Fake reviews or often that do not refer to the product itself, but to the shopping experience.

Inadequate product data can have a significant impact on customer satisfaction. If customers receive products that do not match their expectations, they may be dissatisfied and leave negative reviews or return the product. This can lead to a decrease in customer loyalty and repeat business, as well as a damaged reputation for the e-commerce business. A lack of transparency and accountability in product information can lead to decreased trust in the product and the brand, which can negatively impact customer loyalty and brand reputation.

It is in the face of this challenge that Wireshape is committed.
