I just ordered a 1/4 lb of both chocolate and raspberry caramels, I can't wait to try 'em! Those honey + almond caramels were very tempting, I'll have to buy some more later on! Captain, I was a little confused on your order, but then I saw where it came from. I will throw a couple of honey and almond caramels in. It will ship tomorrow. The caramels were delicious, just ordered some more! I added in some of the honey almonds too, couldn't resist.

Interesting concept - this would make it a lot easier to stay up to date on Bitcoin news. I'll keep checking back for more, thanks.

server2.arsbitcoin.com seems to be working well for right now, hopefully BT will notice that the main server's down soon.

I'd love to try it out. My username on the site is CaptainDDL.

Those guys are charging a premium for buying with BTC, but it may be worth it. I'm not sure if they're legit or not.
People will usually trade Amazon/Newegg GCs on #bitcoin-otc if you ask, and there you'll have a rating system to make sure the person is not a scammer.

Yeah, if not for being the cheapest option to purchase BTC I would have never used Dwolla.

Yeah, they default to the last address you used...you've gotta pay attention on the checkout page.

Interesting concept, but just a tad outside of my gambling price range.

I'm running GUIminer on my desktop computer, using an ATI Radion 5670. I normally average about 75-85 Mhash/s while I'm using the computer, a tad more when I'm not. This is the second time that GUIminer has seemed to 'glitch', my GPU is running now at 4Mhash/s. No apparent reason that I can see, doesn't seem to be overheating or anything like that, but here's a screenshot of my GPU stats - https://i.imgur.com/RKD13.pngThis is happened to me on two different pools, once on Ars and once on NoFeeMining...I don't think it's an issue of not having work. A restart does seem to fix the problem, but I figured I'd post here in case someone had an idea of how I could stop this from happening.

Hmm, might have to upgrade. I was looking at a 6870, might just get one of these.

Linuxcoin...sounds interesting. Is it something that can be setup and run via SSH, or is this more of a GUI interface?

Magneto is a web-site payment system with integration into a bunch of platforms, you can get it here: http://www.magentocommerce.com/A forum member wrote a Megneto payment module that accepts BTC: https://github.com/ticean/magento-bitcoinIf I wanted to accept Bitcoin payments on a website, the above is how I would implement it. If you'd like this setup for you, PM me, I'm available for consulting. I accept USD or BTC as payment. Oh neat, a Magento module. I'll have to see about getting that installed at work.

Yeah...no. Thanks anyways though.

Where is the datacenter(s) you plan to use located at? In the United States, Germany, etc? And I guess the main question is, what would your hosting company bring to the table, why choose you? There are a bazillion webhosts out there. You'll have some people come over just because you accept bitcoin, but for most businesses method of payment is not an issue. Are you going to have servers in countries that don't really care what's hosted? Super reliable servers that could survive a nuclear blast? Have bikini-clad ladies waiting at our beck and call?

Is your hosting company already established? IE are you just going to add bitcoin as a payment option to existing plans, or is this going to be a company formed solely to serve the bitcoin community?

I was going to invest a bit of money in bitcoin with the price falling the way it was, naturally the price would have to jump before the money cleared via Dwolla.

Oh wow, we fell below the $13 mark. How low we go now, nobody knows.

Right now I'm just mining for the time being.

The whole decentralized currency was an intriguing concept to me, I figured I'd check it out.
