1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you invest in a project that might take years to outshine the market?? on: May 30, 2023, 08:50:54 AM
They are probably either looking to get quick bucks or not in the mood to get involved in the community. People stay in a particular project because they might have discovered the niche they want and somewhere to stay, like here in the forum. Then that will be the part where "long-term" is the goal.

If you think about it, a quick build project could look better. It's a baby, and are you sure you can take risks with those kinds of projects? I don't think people will jump at that opportunity unless you can.
I totally agree with you because that's who I am and as an investor ROI and time are our biggest concerns. This is a very real problem. After all, participants in the current encryption world treat tokens as simple buying and selling behaviors, not beliefs. In other words, the interest relationship between the user and the project party becomes very simple. Making money is a long-term consensus. If you lose money, the user turns around and leaves.
2  Economy / Economics / Re: Deposits-in the bank or in gold? on: May 27, 2023, 02:04:29 AM
How to save savings in inflation, there are many deposits provided by the bank, but banks often go bankrupt, does it make sense to buy gold? How is gold bought in a bank and interest is issued on it?

If it is inflation, buying gold can be said to be a good choice. In the long run, the income from buying gold depends on the rise and fall of gold. I think the safest way is not to put all your eggs in one basket. You can choose to deposit them in a reliable bank to earn interest, or you can make some fixed investment in Bitcoin. Of course, only long-term holdings can bring good returns.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: Another Boom for the crypto market. on: January 19, 2023, 01:51:06 AM
With governmental authorisation, Binance can now provide cryptocurrency services in Poland.

I think it's great that the worldwide community is supporting the cryptocurrency industry, this is a significant boost, and I think more nations will follow the present global trend.

https://www.binance.com/en/blog/ecosystem/binance-moves-forward-with-local-development-and-regulatory-compliance-in-poland-1233996135851733478
The global expansion of Binance is undoubtedly the greatest support for the encryption world, and it is more conducive to the spread of digital currencies. It is a very wise choice for Binance to actively respond to the supervision of governments around the world. This has fully established the status of the world's largest digital currency exchange. What remains to be maintained is that the exchange should not take the initiative to do evil, and not become a tool of capital and politics to ensure the safety of exchange users' funds. This is what I am most concerned about and looking forward to.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Are You Preparing For 2023? on: January 11, 2023, 09:02:11 AM
I won't mind if bitcoin has fallen by more than 60% it will definitely return to its best price again whereas if altcoins have dropped after or more then I will be worried it is difficult to recover even though they have developed several programs, a little what I understand altcoins wouldn't add too much value to my portfolio except ETH and BNB which have been around for a long time whereas for new projects I don't want to jump back into investing in them.

There's no guarantee that even if they have a blockchain developed I won't be interested at all, so for 2023 my plan is to see a breakthrough in bitcoin price movement.
As a person who has not experienced losses from Bitcoin's decline, I agree with you. I hope to get some low-priced chips, take this opportunity to get on the car, and make a 3-5 year plan. The basic investment method is to buy $150 of Bitcoin on the 20th of each month (salary payment day), Maybe it will continue to do so in the future. Every March, I take out a little bit to buy my wife a birthday present. Finally leave it to my kids.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market will come back bigger again on: January 10, 2023, 01:49:25 AM
It's true that it's good to pick up those coins that are dropping and low. But to remind everyone, there could be people that are still optimistic about the FTT.

Just like Luna, UST, Lunc and USTC. FTT isn't different from them, it's unlikely to recover and anyone who will try to think that it'll still recover, you're just putting the risk on your hand and money by thinking like that.

It's close to impossible that these tokens and coins will recover even we go back to the bull run.
The underlying technology of the blockchain solves the problem of trust. The projects you mentioned have completely exhausted their credit. It is not a problem that technology can solve. In 2023, I feel that this is a year full of opportunities and a turning point. Some people say that this year is the first year of AI. I would like to say that this year is the year when the digital currency or encryption world moves towards reasonable compliance.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Vietnam GDP grows 8.02% in 2022; fastest expansion in 25 years on: January 05, 2023, 08:26:35 AM
Vietnam has been growing quite well in the past few decades. It has somehow already transitioned from a largely agricultural country to agro-industrial, from poor to middle income. Manufacturing has been continuously expanding. Thanks to the large and cheap labor market, it has become a very good alternative to China. It has really stood up as a great investment country especially in Asia. Personally, I'm amazed that certain brands I really admire like Nike, Deuter, Columbia, Osprey, and others are now coming from Vietnam.
In the era of industrial iteration, Vietnam has indeed become a big production country. The extensive management method has made this country with a population of nearly 100 million people on the top of the world again. Of course, the development of other technology industries is relatively rapid. It is worth looking forward to one day being able to start a business in Vietnam.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How important are exchanges? on: January 03, 2023, 07:46:26 AM
Exchanges became the heart and soul of this industry. With a vast array of cryotocurrencies that exist on the market, trading them along with withdrawal and deposit options is surely a good idea not only to make money, but to also increase accessibility within the space. That's why exchanges, whether DEx or CEx, are integral in this industry.

Of course this is the case, and the function settings of many exchanges are still very practical. The frequent problems of centralized exchanges depend entirely on whether the founders are evil. This is the key.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Destroy Crap Altcoins? on: December 26, 2022, 02:05:30 AM
The two don't necessarily have to survive one. Bitcoin has been No. 1 from the very beginning, and no one can shake it. The altcoin team will naturally destroy it if they make enough money. They don’t want us to do anything. Their purpose is just to make money.
perfect answer and this is why we also wanted to earn from those coins , admit it but almost everyone of us tried to invest or still investing in altcoin for a sole target and that is to earn easily while Holding our Bitcoin for long term plans right?
bitcoin will always be our first choice but we should diversify and that is to put at least some part of our investments in altcoins.
The survival time of many altcoins does not exceed 24 hours. In many cases, you have no time to think and judge. You are already in the abyss, and there is no chance of rescue. This is the biggest risk for many speculators choosing altcoins.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of finance belongs to open source on: December 16, 2022, 07:38:26 AM
One thing that is surprising to me is that we haven't seen more open source software in crypto. It seems as if the two paths of open source software and crypto development are aligned in ways which could be mutually beneficial.

Most of crypto is open source though? It's just the fact that even if the huge majority of crypto are open source, 99% are still theoretically crap and useless.

Open source means too much plagiarism, means a lot is worthless. The core of the source code still has strong privacy, and many of them have left backdoors for their own project parties. Of course, open source code is also an important marketing method, in order to get more silly users. Behind the project is a sharp guillotine
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance lots of FUD on: December 14, 2022, 06:15:49 AM
Binance is centralized and that's why many are starting to panic when there's bad news about them. What if before the bad news Binance starts to halt withdrawals? Well, that's the real thing but so far, this is just to make a FUD and if the thing is real, Binance will handle it for sure.
Everyone is starting to learn their lesson that no exchange is safe whether it's the most popular and populous exchange, they can't avoid any FUD that will be spread against them.
The current panic is still going on and I believe in Binance's ability to handle the crisis. But the criticism of centralized exchanges cannot be ignored. But people often only have 7 seconds of memory. When they saw @justinsuntron’s tweets, the market warmed up a little bit, and people’s panic seemed to disappear instantly.

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all new Projects are bad, So take the Risk on: December 13, 2022, 02:12:03 AM
I came across a post where an advise was ditch out
for newbies like myself not to get involved in new projects,
due to the risk that follows.

But with all honestly, Some project with 3 to 7 months old have one time becomes Scam, Good  example is OKS CHAIN. The project was over 2 years old, yet end up being scam, as the CEO and other dev cart away with so much money. And abandoned the project.

My experience tells me that everything involves around crypto project, Is about risk, except for the president of them all ( Bitcoin ), The vice ( Ethereum ) and the child ( Binance ). Investing in any of these 3 gives risk free system. As they say experience is the best teacher in life.

So i strongly disagreed with the term of " do not invest in a brand new project " to be risk free. A lot of new project has yielded x50
of my investment to me most of the time, What i usually do, Once they're up, i take off with my investment and interest. This is my experiences.
And i strongly believes by doing this, Will yield high success to everyone and also helps you to minimize the risk of lossing all your funds.

For project founders, some projects are good, with high-quality code and complete audit reports, but it depends on whether the project party wants to do evil. For retail investors, many have no judgment, and their confidence comes from the activity and number of participants in the community. For smart people, they have their own methods and standards for selecting high-quality projects, and they will not put all their eggs in one basket. In addition to mainstream digital currencies, other altcoins are ways to earn money, and some projects will not even survive for more than 24 hours. It's also very sad.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FTX collapse: Good or bad for crypto in the long run? on: December 06, 2022, 02:33:42 AM
The collapse of a major crypto exchange, has once again taken the world by storm. There is a lot of FUD being spread by mainstream media, making people believe this is the final chapter for crypto/Blockchain tech. Now, US lawmakers are pushing towards stricter regulations with the excuse of helping protect investors' interests. Other countries could follow the US, greatly stifling the growth of the industry. I'm beginning to wonder whenever the collapse of FTX would be good or bad for crypto in the long run? This looks like another Mt. Gox situation, so it's likely things will be better in the long run after the dust settles. But I'm not so sure, especially when governments are now seeing crypto as a threat to the existence of Fiat (something they didn't think about when crypto was in its early years).

What are your thoughts? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Smiley

The FTX incident taught almost everyone in the crypto world a valuable lesson, including:
(1) Not your key Not your coin
(2) Large investment institutions make bad financial decisions
(3) DD due diligence does not mean everything
(4) Everyone should have a cold wallet
(5) Don’t trust celebrity sales pitches
(6) Don’t put all your eggs in one basket
(7) Finance is actually synonymous with "leverage". The so-called wealth/financial stability are all on paper
(Cool No matter how big a black swan is, there is a chance for it to happen, and nothing is too big to fail.

The FTX incident can be said to be the biggest disaster in the encryption world in the past 13 years. It has given us a lot of inspiration, and the future is bright. The black swan will eventually turn into a white swan. In the short term, this domino will still have more chain reactions, but this is also a process of healing. It is estimated that he will fully recover next year.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing against 2024 on: December 01, 2022, 06:02:25 AM
I think it's wise to invest smartly against 2024, there is high tendency of hitting it big in crypto from next year to 2024. I advise you put reasonable capital on bitcoin and few funds in altcoin. Don't sleep on this one. It's a banga!! Let's make this money together.

If you also think that the Bitcoin halving in 2024 will bring new hope to the market, the simulation is an out-and-out investor. As a follower of Bitcoin belief, you don’t need to pay too much attention to the bull market and bear market. You have to follow your heart. In the future, Bitcoin will be the privatization of property, the property that is truly in your own hands.
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear And Bull Market? on: November 18, 2022, 06:12:35 AM
What is the real difference between bull and bear market and how can one utilize them to make some good profits?
Both bull and bear markets are indispensable experiences in our investment activities. There is nothing that does not meander and spiral. The bull market and the bear market are brothers and are inseparable. How can I get the most benefit? If you can't control your emotions, it will be difficult for you to learn to persist in a bear market, accumulate experience, and get more chips. In this way, you can earn more in the bull market. Of course, in the currency circle, you have to learn to keep a low profile in the bull market, or to be less gambled.
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A newbie with 100$ on: November 16, 2022, 06:40:58 AM
Investing $100 in Bitcoin is a good place to start, at today's price of $21802/BTC will give you 0.0046 btc. The way I see it, don't focus on thre dollar value but rather be focused on the amount of bitcoins you have stacked. You get a good feeling when you hodl a good amount of bitcoins. Buying today is a good investment because you would be buying dip should Bitcoin price fall down further you can still buy more and hodl

I also started with $100. In this field, every day is a starting point, so don't be discouraged. As long as you continue to learn how to strengthen your beliefs in the market changes and don't be greedy for money, you are the winner.
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: No social media is safe on: November 16, 2022, 06:08:53 AM
During the covid crisis, I met a man on Facebook, who was friendly and chatty our conversation was normal,so we exchanged numbers and move to Whatsapp and share massages, After some weeks he started introducing me to crypto currency, how it works, how it been used to earn,he ask me to open a binance account, showed me on how to fund my account  he also  introduced me to his platform and persuaded me  to sign up then he showed me how to move the money to a trading platform where it will be invested. I made my first payment which I was seeing on my dashboard clearly and also how I can freely  withdraw it back to my binance account.

On the third that he persuaded me to invest more money so that I will earn bigger but I instead to see and withdraw the first investment before making or investing more but he keep on persuading me so i starting have doubts and bad feelings about it , I decided to open  the investment site to see if my money is safe and can be withdraw but when I open the investment site I found out that my trading site stopped working then I reached out to him, he asked me to contact customer service which I did and they told me that my account was blocked and I need to pay certain amount of money to unlock my funds, which I did then  I try again to withdraw my funds but i couldn't,  i contacted the customer service again they also demanded for more money, At this moment i absolutely knew that I have been scammed.

Social media is a very good platform for information exchange and communication, but at the same time it is full of fraud. Some people say that Musk has the world's largest media of lies. Although it is a joke, it also illustrates a problem: one is the inductiveness of public figures' speech, and the other is that information needs to be screened, and you must judge whether it is true or false.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: 23 Countries Now Abandoning US Dollar on: November 12, 2022, 09:08:08 AM
This article is 100% BS. Go anywhere in Africa, the Middle East, Turkey, or South America, the US$ is king.

Ask a man selling his used car, anywhere in the world, if he'd prefer to be paid in $, Russian ruble or Chinese yuan. Besides the Swiss, all the world would choose $.

There is no doubt that the US dollar is still used globally, not only because the United States is a powerful country, but also because of global use, global recognition, and global exchange rate. Just because we are used to it. Of course, the emergence of Bitcoin will change some things, but for now, the US dollar is still the mainstream currency.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk have Just a year to make back his money🙆 on: November 10, 2022, 06:57:22 AM
Twitter's mMAUs (monthly Monetizable Active Users) stands at 450 million. If they pay $8 per month, that gives Elon $3.6B per month. It will take 13 months to make $44B - the purchase price QED. Elon Musk is a genius.

He is not only a genius, but also has the fastest dissemination speed, the largest influence, the largest audience in the world, the most instructive, timeliness, and even the most easily spread false media --- TEITTER.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the bear market over? on: November 10, 2022, 06:44:03 AM
"Is the bear market over? Hard to say, but a lot of the bad news was priced in. With a maximum drawdown of -28%, SPX discounted 85% of a typical 33% market decline and 78% of a recession bear market. I still like the 1946 counterpart-"

Is the bear market over?
Is the bear market over?
Is the bear market over?

According to my experience, it is far from the bottom. If you think this is the end of the bear market, I will tell you responsibly that you can wake up from your sweet dream. This is the middle stage of the bear market, once again challenging the market's patience and test everyone's cognition.
