Well I do and Crawallmining does also.
I'd like to see database size decreased, yes. But I surely don't take Dash as a positive example, since I find its privacy concept quite primitive in comparison to Monero.

Will better database compression be integrated into the client? I just compressed the databse with 7-Zip and it has decreased from 7.9GB to 4.2.

I'd prefer AE any time, BE rather suits schoolbooks.

Tacotime, smooth or whoever is in charge of running the monero.cc website. Would you like me to help making it look a little more aesthetically appealing? I can't develop wallet code or anything, but I can make some website improvements. I'd like to help out, so send me a PM and lets get this going Please open source it on github or bitbucket. So anyone can make PR Sounds like good idea to me! Yeah, there should be someone who keeps everything up to date. monero.cc needs much more information about the forum etc.

Hoping for a fixed release date for per KB fees in the next missive..

It's not a good time to sell for a long period now, why one should hold to their coins at a safe place (deterministic seed). Monero is very easy to use per CLI, but I agree and understand that CLI keeps many people away.
The official homepage should be much more comprehensive and more up to date. There's not even a link to the official forum, as far as I can see. Neither to Monero Research Lab. And the linked blockchain is terribly outdated. Maybe you should extend the crew with someone who keeps care of such things.

Are per KB fees now on testnet?

You can compile and run it right now off github - we're having some issues with static builds (required for binary releases), and have gotten KitWare involved (the company who created CMake), so resolving it is in progress.
Ok, that sounds like a good reason. Hope that compiling issues will be totally sorted out in the future.

I don't want to sound like a broken record, but where are new builds for better checkpointing, announced two missives ago? Not that it would be crucially necessary, but some "lifesign" before further tests with per KB fees etc. would be neat.

Is there a GPU & CPU mining performance comparison? I'm mining with ~410H/s with a GTX 970 OC and 60% of 165W TDP.
Edit: Ah, I see. With OpenCL miner, Radeons are much faster.

Funny, I found this thread again by googling darkcoin + spaghetti .

Odd, I need to clear Firefox cache to make it refresh. Any news on new builds?

When will new compiled builds be ready?

Next missive is set for today?

How long since the "attack" has started? Aren't those few days already over?

|

Right after publishing the next missive?

Maybe timewarp attack will need weeks to show effects? Or decades?
