2  Economy / Collectibles / Limited Edition Artwork 2/21 Orange Epoxy Bitcoin Round being Auctioned on: February 10, 2023, 06:07:49 AM
Hi there,

I've posted on here before over the past year and wanted to share that I am auctioning this collectible #2 of 21 Limited Edition 22" MDF CNC carved round.

This round has orange colored epoxy poured and very unique.

(I don't know how to post photographs on here at the moment and I've tried to sign up for a higher level account but it didn't work.)

Starting bid to cover costs to make is $250 or 0.011 #BTC

Will end on Saturday February 11th.

S&H free within USA, if over $300

**I updated it with this tweet**

The auction ends Saturday evening or so!

I'll be donating 10% (if sold for over $300) to the Turkey Earthquake fund that has been shared.

If over $500, I'll donate 21%!

Not trying to make a profit on this, $250 doesn't even cover S&H...

If you'd like to bid on here, that is fine. I will transfer with a screenshot to the thread.

Thank you for viewing and the support!

This is wild asf!! I cannot believe all this happened and how much bitcoin he scammed, compared to the price the past year or so...  It does give me some ideas for future projects or ways to increase the worth of my artwork so I appreciate you sharing the entire experience and story.

Wish you all the best and maybe one day he will make it right.. I cannot imagine the weight of being that unimpeccable would be on his shoulders..

Lol at first I was looking through your pictures on the blog looking for a bonsai tree as we had found information that WoodCollector moved onto scamming the bonsai tree community, then I read the above excerpt from your About PBA page and burst out laughing. Guess I'll say "Hello WC or WC's friend" and add this hilarious coincidence to the WoodCollector saga.

If you ever hit Full Member here you can look at this thread and there might just be some pictures of somebody you know -- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5321663.msg56490105#msg56490105
The friend you "met" in 2019 with a Bonsai Garden could very well be WoodCollector who was being accused of scamming bonsai enthusiasts in early 2020 in the thread above.

An ego like his I figured he'd eventually Google his old username and come across this thread.

I'm still very happy with having completed this collection, they look incredible displayed. Was I scammed? No, I bought these for the history/story. Does this directly link PhysicalBitcoinArt to WoodCollector? No but one hell of a coincidence.
Ask your friend about Coin 10 and let me know what he says Wink

Very interesting! If you wanted to send me a private message or email ( physicalbitcoinart@gmail.com) with screen shots of what's posted on that thread, I could let you know. My buddy lived somewhere in Florida.. He has one of the biggest bonsai gardens in the USA and paid me in bitcoin to do work around there. Maybe I could provide his bitcoin address he paid me with and see if it crosses with one you guys paid him?? That is a wild coincidence I must say hahaha

6  Economy / Collectibles / Re: High Quality 18" Bitcoin Cutting Board w/ Sapele Hardwood up for Auction! on: August 05, 2022, 10:42:27 AM
hahaha what da! I had no clue about all this, I didn't get started with carving wooden stuff till around 2019.. I wish I was that guy, if that is all true, just did a search and read his posts about it all. Pretty neat idea tbh.. thanks for sharing!! (after reading more, I didn't realize when replying to you that he scammed people, so I take that back 100%)

8  Economy / Collectibles / High Quality 18" Bitcoin Cutting Board w/ Sapele Hardwood up for Auction! on: August 01, 2022, 06:15:25 PM
Please watch this Youtube video to view the detail of this Cutting board.

https://youtu.be/8SO4keE-UfY

To participate in this auction & view the Cutting Board, please go to Plebeian Market here:

https://plebeian.market/auctions/V3AA

Each Sapele Hardwood #Bitcoin Cutting Board takes approximately 2 days to create, it is hand glued together, sanded, 4hrs of CNC carving, pouring Epoxy, 72hrs to dry properly, sanding the epoxy to level of #BTC Logo, and finishing touches.

This is #1 of a Limited Edition of 21 with the Block Height of 747115 carved into the back.

The carved side is for displaying (not cutting) the other side is for the purpose you desire.
.
This cutting board will outlast your life and be something to pass down to your family one day.

The Cutting Boards will evolve as time goes on and color of epoxy will change as well.

The Black Epoxy represents the Void where life began, all life on Earth begins in Darkness and starts to Germinate. Light is shared and it begins to grow & evolve.

This is the concept behind my Limited Edition Carvings, which will also evolve and become more creative and enhanced.

Additional designs will be shared as well in the future with extremely exotic woods & other techniques.

9  Economy / Goods / Re: High Quality Bitcoin Coasters with Epoxy Finish on: July 22, 2022, 04:21:47 AM
Hi everyone,

I wasn't receiving email notifications about new posts on here for some reason and just checked this posting today...

I completely understand and agree with you all about the design, I had zero clue about this situation or where the original design came from till now.. I would of or will gladly pay him for use of the design, I just thought it was a copyright free use and downloaded the SVG file from Etsy a long time ago. It was never my intention to do anything nefarious and glad it has been brought to my attention. I will attempt to reach out to him.

Also at the present moment, due to demand and shipping costs etc etc, selling just one coaster isn't plausible for me at the moment. I hope you all understand and I'll let you know if I'm able to make that happen in the future.

Sincerely,
PBA

I have his address information as I recently sent him some free silver and there are 3 of us willing to buy. If you provided a 25% discount on a 4 pack and the other two nice folks were willing to help with shipping to Mick, I’d happily handle getting them distributed. Would do it just for Mick to get something cool in the mail… Let me know if there’s anything we can work out. Would love it if someday Mick’s house was overflowing with all the free goods people send him for using his designs. He deserves it for being a pioneer in this space.

Could you please email me physicalbitcoinart@gmail.com or write me on Twitter   @bitcoindesigns   ?? I lost access to this profile and was dealing with numerous personal situations in life & business.  I totally understand where everyone is coming from and that really sucks he was taken advantage of apparently or something of that nature.

Shipping is pretty reasonable because I use a third party vendor called Pirate Ship, a 25% discount would be fine for me, that would cover material, machine time, and shipping. I really appreciate you all understanding and hopefully we can make this happen for Mick!

Thank you!
