Anyone else having issues transferring FCT from exchange to exchange? Showed up as confirmed but nothing to see in the explorer on that address.

I'm curious about this too. It's nice that the testers get info about what's going on, but what about the rest of the investors? This 'update next week' took quite a bit longer than a week, no update nothing Sad

Seems like they're gonna allow withdrawals for altcoins after Chinese Newyear, they just posted this on their Weibo (Google translated):

最近让用户担心了,我们将在春节后首先安排人民币以及美元的提现工作,届时用户可以登录验证后提取账户中的余额。其他虚拟币的提现工作将在确保数字钱包安全的情况下陆续开通。首批开通提现的虚拟币将包括NXT,XCP,XTC等。

"Recently allows users worry, we will first arrange withdrawals work renminbi and the dollar after the Spring Festival, then the user can log on after the extraction verify account balances. Withdraw the work of other virtual currency will be opened in ensuring the safety of the digital wallet. The first opening of a virtual currency withdrawals will include NXT, XCP, XTC, etc."

I never said anything about BC and Bitbay... I respect both projects that have different priorities.

Regards,
ASCI-8Tile

We do not want to hurt XCP. We are using part of their platform.
Similar to bitbay using bithalo, but in the viva open source way.

I think that you should troll elsewhere and wait for the 100% facts.

Regards,
ASIC-8Tile

something a bit strange is going on, so xnova was contacted about testing Tilecoin Dapp. yet at the time of inbox, he know nothing about tilecoin, and claims he diddnt realize because of the different username used to contact him. i think regardless of the username, you would be talking about one thing... tilecoin.

Guys, relax. I was contacted...regarding testing an app (that at the time I didn't know was the tilecoin app). The CP tech team will be looking into this tech more and seeing how we can assist.

For full disclosure, we do not know much about tilecoin currently, and need to learn more before moving forward in any regard.
today i see,you are A dishonest rat.you are hurting XCP .make fake claim and create panic.
as you mention the relation between black coin and bitbay, now the downtrend of blackcoin can prove all .
i just wanna advise you with nice attitude that honesty wins more.your little name game affect negativey.recently people who left in crypto world are smarter than before.they wont bite so easily as a baby bites candy.

Nice attitute? By calling people dishonest rats and motherfuckers? Pathetic little troll.

November 15, 2014 - Development Updates

1.) Mainnet transactions for TILECOINX to local wallet and we can now dynamically receive any Counterparty tokens in the local wallet.
This will help with user adoption. More TILECOINX transactions on MAINNET.

2.) Website updates, http://tilepay.org (Still in development).

3.) Enclosure completed. Next, stand-alone enclosure for your desk.

4.) Security review completed, quote from bitcoin CISSP white hats,

"Conclusion
The analysis of the TilePay application's source code showed no significant vulnerabilities surrounding
the cryptographic processes and algorithms being used. What follows is a summarized list of minor tasks
to further enhance the application's security and to bring it inline with cryptographic best practices
while mitigating some of the risk from common attack vectors."

We are in the process of hardening the DApp.

5.) Counterparty update for development: One of the major developments for the Counterparty protocol has enabled additional functionality that we can use for TilePay,
pegged assets, distributed voting, decentralized storage, and really distributed apps of any kind.

Regards,
ASIC-8Tile

Website looks great! No typo's, professional layout, good explanation of functionality and links to further investigate protocols and technologies.

"TilePay is getting ready to launch within the next week. Stay tuned." Gonna be good!

Hey

Any ETA for wallet release?
Want to know when to buy in....

Don't you usually buy in before the masses? This would be a good time i'd think..

Aand BitBay is currently below ICO... Might have some people running back to XTC soon.

I it self is to do thes,so there is little understanding of these issues, like today's encryption monetary develo pment team is small workshop no specialized testers, not the problem that is amazing, the test is divided in to unit testing, combinatorial testig, system testing, stress testig performance tesing security testing regression testing user testing...... All had to complete on-lion on-line also found the problem it will have to go through this process

You might wanna stick to translate.google.com

I am glad to see more infrastructure being built around IoT.
We will see if/when they deliver.

I will be attending Wavefront IoT – Building Real Value Event November 17th, 2014 in Montreal.
http://www.wavefrontac.com/wavefront-events/iot-building-real-value/

If anyone wants to meet me, please PM me. We can set a time and location.

10X more crypto-tokens? Hmmm. Simple math to me. Would that make TileCoin a bargain? Wink

I am confident we will be the first, because I know what is being completed and who is on the team.

Regards,
ASIC-8Tile

Apparently from Canada, as he mentioned to be at a wavefront event there. You can always go and meet him there?
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XTC] TileCoin| IoT (Internet of Things) bitcoin blockchain - ĐApp on: November 12, 2014, 05:13:03 AM
Could we get clarification about the confirmation (block, transaction) times? Quick transaction is key with hardware and you claim 24 seconds transaction time which is not too bad. When can we see a working software that demonstrate this feature?

BTC ecology is more important than transaction time. You can refer to XCP.

Tough I have been using Bitcoin for years  I don't know what BTC ecology is ... but I believe if you want to perform an Internet of Things function then the transaction time is pretty vital. I thought, if you want to turn on a sensor or turn on/off a light you can't wait 60 seconds until the transaction is processed (i.e.. included) in the blockchain.

This is a wonderful project like BitBay or GadgetCoin and I am sure you have a working solution, I would just like to understand how your solution works terms of one of the most important aspects of it, the real time hardware control.

XTC is directly based on BTC blockchain. The transaction time is BTC block interval.

All right, so how the real time hardware control that is vital feature for any Internet of Things applications is possible with a 10 minutes confirmation time? Do we need to wait 10 minutes to turn OFF/ON an IoT controlled light switch or are you doing CHECKLOCKTIMEVERIFY like the BitBay team or you do instant transaction based on the Ethereum account balance concept using a completely rewritten software like GadgetCoin does or what is your implementation details please?

The main applications of XTC are these based on BTC blockchain. You can see in OP.

2.1) TilePay is the wallet for TileCoin/Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies
2.2) TileVest is the crowd-equity funding mechanism
2.3) TilExchange is the decentralized trading platform (possible cross-chain capability)
2.4) TileClub is the Investment Club
2.5) TileLend is a decentralized cryptocurrency lending platform
2.6) TileGateways is where TileCoin is converted to other cryptocurrencies and Fiat

Wtf are we talking about? :-)))

Have you read my question at all? You have replied second time to my question, but completely ignored to answer it. Let me know which part of my question made you post that 6 completely irrelevant points and also let me know what is the reason you ignore my simple question about IoT real time hardware control and transaction times.

What I mean is different application can bear different transaction time. I also think BTC ecology is more important than transaction time.

I am sorry for bothering you ... but if I spent so much time with this simple question, after trying so hard I would like to know how your application works if you don't mind :-)))

I am sure that's case about "BTC ecology" ... but still here is my original question: Do we need to wait 10 minutes to turn OFF/ON an IoT controlled light switch? In other words, is your application capable to perform real time hardware control and if yes, then how is that achieved as your transaction confirmation time is 10 minutes?

Moreover, I tend to believe the reason that you are ignoring my question, because you have no idea at all what involves with the Internet of Things applications and how the BTC blockchain and its 10 minutes transaction confirmation time makes very difficult (if not impossible) real time hardware control for blockchain based applications. Am I right, you are not a dev and you have no idea what are you talking about terms of IoT applications?

As I said I am asking the same questions in the BitBay and GadgetCoin threads, but at least there are some meaningful answers to the question ...

Why do you keep replying to a newbie account, like he's the dev? He obviously doesn't understand your question. And you think so much work is going to be put in this coin for a 10 minute wait before the light goes on? Just wait for Asic-8Tile to answer your question technically...

November 10, 2014 - Questions/Considerations

1.) Is TileCoin a bargain? 100,000,000 at 0,00000542 sats (XTC) vs 1,000,000,000 at 0.00000252 sats for a fork/license? With all do respect, the head start on the smart tech was easy...
2.) What features/functionality do you want to see implemented?
3.) Do you want an AMA?
4.) What can we do together to involve more people?
5.) Since the tech will be open sourced, we will focus on adoption. That is the only way we will overcome closed licenses.

Regards,
ASIC-8Tile

I was reading through the BTC reddit today and stumbled upon this post, and the idea is genius in my opinion!
It's got to do with IoT, wouldn't something like this be perfect for XTC?

ive been in contact with duncan from iot.io, a london based engineer, and he has some very interesting viewpoints on incorporating IoT tech with cryptocurrency, he strongly believes IoT and currency/blockchain combined is the future, and surprisingly has already been following Tilecoin's progress closely.

his blog is over here: http://www.iot.io/blog/
What?

I've repeated it for you with a quote.

November 6, 2014 - Development Update

1.) Thank you for everyone's support!

2.) The Enclosure is in the print queue. The 3D printer company is so busy that it might take until Monday, November 10th to have an enclosure developed with colour.

3.) Still Looking for C developer for bit-c (C spv wallet) instead of picocoin for firmware

4.) We have a new advisor in regards to Hardware/Firmware/Security. His resume is quite impressive and his approach to problem solving (opportunities) was very refreshing.
He will be available as of Monday, November 10, three times a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) for 2.5 hours each day to guide us/develop a secure IoT strategy using the bitcoin block chain with our wallet.

I am very confident that he can help us develop an optimal first-class secure hardware/software implementation with regards to IoT devices and their usage.

Regards,
ASIC-8Tile

Thanks dev, looking promising. I was a bit skeptic at first about a daily update, but it's actually really nice to see the progress and amazing work that's being put into the coin. Can the community do anything about you still looking for a C developer?

Now if only that showoff with his 5-15btc sell orders either sells his coins or holds them, the price could actually start moving  Roll Eyes

when will this be add to bittrex?

Was answered before:

It would be nice. But right now they do not have the architecture setup for Counterparty like crypto-tokens.

It's better if bittrex can add it.

TileCoin Status - Update October 22, 2014

Hi everyone

I have been watching the thread. Very good ideas that everyone has shared. Thank you for all your support. IoT will be a focus.

1.) Wallet Update
The wallet is not ready for public use. My main concern is having the Code/Security reviewed and fixed if necessary before public release.
This will take another 2 weeks minimum that includes a report on any vulnerabilities and fixes prior to release.

We have over 11,000 Source Lines of Code (SLOC) - (testnet/mainnet/testing, etc...) in one Month.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8IoPxQboSapV0dGRHhjdEV2T0E/view?usp=sharing

2.) Security Protocol

Please make sure to add HTTPS Everywhere to your web browser before having the wallet installed on your PC/Laptop once we launch.
https://www.eff.org/https-everywhere

3.) I have contacted BTER to ask if we can add a Vote for the community in case people want to enable trading or wait.

V1: Begin Trading on BTER without being able to download TileCoin to a wallet
V2: Allow community to download TileCoin to their wallet created on https://counterwallet.io/
V3: Wait for the Wallet to become available

4.) Decentralized Exchange
User stories created and now in breakdown phase.

5.) IoT (Internet of Things)
Hardware is ordered and awaiting shipment.  Grin
Waiting for meeting with Jeremie Miller from http://telehash.org
Firmware/Software in planning phase
Basically, Individuals/Companies can use the wallet to manage their IoT devices and be able to accept TileCoin/Bitcoin for data being transmitted from their IoT device.

6.) Mobile wallet development
We have been planning the Mobile (Android/iPhone) functionality.

7.) Bounties
Have not had a lot ideas or people asking to help.

Other languages?
Indonesian - received PM

List please...

Have coindesk interview? We are not ready for this IMO.

Website - BTC/XTC Amount??
I have contacted several companies and they have quoted over $2,500+ for developing the Website/Branding/Marketing plan.
If anyone knows someone that is qualified and has been very successful. Please send a PM.

Please share your thoughts.
P.S. This Lead is not going anywhere, I have been focused on Development/Future Architecture.

Regards,
ASIC-8Tile

Wow, i'm genuinely impressed with the transparency and thoughtfulness of your posts. Not only do you show what you're working on, but you immediately post a link to prove it, this will prevent a lot of potential fud, please keep that up!
Excited for what's to come! And seeing how many people offered their coins for sale before the market opened, option 1 will probably be the most popular. It'll give the coin a nice price boost (attention from outsiders) too when stuff actually gets released in 2 weeks!
