If I open the website page, I download automatically a file .htm with the maintenance message.
Dargo, are our balances safe? Cloudfare is not aware of issues.

Kraken is presently offline for unplanned maintenance to address this morning's intermittent connectivity issues.
Duration of downtime is presently unknown but it could be several hours. We will update this page and our Twitter feed when more information is available.
Rest assured that the connectivity issues are in no way related to any security incident. All funds are safe.
While maintenance is underway, the website and API will not be reachable, and orders will not be able to be placed or canceled. When the site comes back online, an announcement will be made and users will have time to modify orders before trading begins.
Thank you for your understanding and we look forwarding to bringing you an even more robust service after our downtime.

I read the Faqs but i did not understand how to do.

Hi Kitano - Sorry it took me a while to get back to you. I don't think the process of creating a margin order and opening a position is any different when shorting on a EUR balance - the EUR balance will be used as "collateral" against the position just the same as it would for BTC. Did you try creating a margin order and run into a problem? Hi again. I did not run into a problem. I don't understand how to create a margin order using Euro. |

So I decided to buy some more BTC with the result, that some of them are stuck again, so that I can not withdraw them.
Very annoying, plese fix this ASAP!

Dargo, do you have an ETA to fixing the issue?
I don't have an ETA for when the issue will be fixed but I'll post an update here as soon as I have any relevant information. We have a system that limits withdrawal amounts if the funds are needed to back orders or margin positions (and other things). The bug is in this system since it is incorrectly withholding a portion of funds in some cases even if you don't have orders or margin positions. In most cases it only withholds small amounts and you can probably withdraw all or almost all of your funds by doing two withdrawals. Any news, Dargo? |
