That was one of the main reason of creating bitcoin but and you can see it in the bitcoin whitepaper and stated it there clearly that bitcoin is created to buy or pay things online as P2p but that option of creating bitcoin has be truncated. And adopting bitcoin as the global payment method and accepted by governments in the world will not be easy because government is fighting any cryptocurrency company that dealing with privacy. But to some extent bitcoin is already using by many companies in the global arena. So you can send money to someone in another country through bitcoin with less charge.
As it is said bitcoin was to buy things online but base on the store of value and the profit in it, many have engaged in investment and leaving the side of the paying things digitally. So now everyone is involved in investment to maximize profit. I don't think there is anything we can do to make bitcoin price rise to hit the $100k prediction price but when the time comes then it will hit it by itself without we doing anything to it. Some people might say that the whales in the system might have influence in the bitcoin market, well they have and I can't say they don't because the more acquisition of bitcoin they have the more the price also increase, that is why people were saying that the demand and supply have a good influence in the cryptocurrency market. When understand the topic and glance through the content then the person would have a comprehensive understanding. Another thing is that, the creators of some of those topics also create topics that are different from the content. Op transaction fee right now is very low and if you are having high transaction fee the you are using a new wallet that have not done anything before or you have done only few transactions. This have been happening to me for yes past and now the transaction fee in my wallet is okay. And this the present transaction fee.  With this amount of the transaction fee, you don't have to complain but if your transaction fee is higher than this then you have only done few transactions in the wallet. |

I understand. But the monitoring of your seed phrase is so much important because if you just lost it then your investment is wasted. Even though you don't want to know the price in the market but safeguarding your wallet with the seed phrase is sacrosanct. I have lost my first Eloncoin wallet seed phrase and I lost everything, there was no way to retrieve the wallet again so I lost those coins.
But I have not seen people giving up on cryptocurrency investment because they are tired of the monitoring the coins..and what I have seen is that I have seen someone who was tired to wait for the bitcoin to rise and he sold them when bitcoin was still in the bear market.

Completely disagree as we have already seen so much of gun related crimes and shooting in schools and some so called mentally unstable person going on rampage and killing spree. I think no one should have access to gun accept the relevant security services and authorities and rather we should ensure we have more trained personnel to tackle the crime and there should be enough security and safety to curb on the crimes and send the criminals behind the bar which would reduce the incidents and there is absolutely no need of guns for ordinary person.
I strongly believe that the person who created this thread is from Africa and in Africa we have not given the opportunity to own gun so many of us don't even know how to fire or shoot gun so if the opportunity is given then everyone is a suspect and if they near the door in the night the guy will release the bullet to the person. If Africans are given the opportunity to carry gun then the killing will be very high because the angry families will go and kill the families that have done something against them to pay back. The problem is not even the politicians but the electorates that they try to deceive just to have their way, imagine where a politician will be offering to pay voters just for them to vote against their wish and vote based on compromise and this act has been happening more especially in African countries. I believe that most politicians doesn't just come out from no where a seek for a public office because most of them have held a previous office before and it is the duty of the electorates to check their previous records of governance if they can still accord same trust to such politicians but instead they foolishly believes in empty promises that a politician make to them and some politicians use to tell the electorates that they didn't do well when they were giving a public office but that if they are re-elected that they will do better but as soon as they are voted in they still continue from their previous ways. I don't blame politicians but the electorates.
If politicians give you money to vote for them, you can reject the money or collect it and vote for the right candidate because at the end the citizens will suffer the most and not the candidates. The promised of African politicians are to deceive the the electorates. The present president in my country said nobody voted for him to win the election and he spend his money to win the election. And one thing we have to know is that the problem is not the candidates or the electorates but the judiciary. In Africa someone that took 4 position in election becomes the first winner in court. How? Till now we don't know how it happened. Not even the second or the third but the fourth winner is the original winner of the election. African leaders are control by outsiders. |

You have been following yet you have not making any profit so what you have to do is I advise you to invest bitcoin for now until you. Make your own research and invest on the top coins and wait for sometimes to ripe (bull market) before harvest them. I wouldn't recommend Ethereum but since the ETF has been approved, you can invest in Ethereum but please make a research very well before investing in it. Check the transaction fee and the network to k ow if they are okay to invest.
I did that the same mistake without checking the transaction fee and the network so I loss in the investment and before I will have gain in the investment, when Ethereum hit $4,900. And I don't know when is that.

I am not disputing the fact that banks have lost enough customers to POS Merchants but I don't believe the fact that it is because of the POS but it is because of the cashless policy by the government. Like the last time when I visited the bank and that should be last week, access bank in precisely boldly told me that they can only gave me 10k for a withdrawal and I thought of if it instead of coming to bank to withdraw this small amount why can't I just collect it in POS because the transport is even higher than the POS charges.
POS would collect 300 for 10k but the tp from my location to the bank is 300x2 =600 so it is better to collect them in POS than coming to the bank. That is the major cause of the losing of customers by banks. And in most time people now use the epayment method. So in most of the things we buy now we use Palmpay, Opay and kuda etc so there is no need to go to the bank or POS to withdraw money instead we pay through online apps.

Two things dey involved here which are Bitcoin and altcoins. I don't see a point in trading Bitcoin. Wetin we suppose to dey do na to dey accumulate am then we hodl am because history dun show say na hodlers dey benefit pass for this industry. When trading you fit lose your Bitcoin irrespective of how careful wey you dey think say you dey. The lost fit come from not using a stop loss, wrongly timing the market or hack because when you dey trade obviously you dey exposed your Bitcoin to many risk on the exchange and if we're being honest, many traders dey use centralized exchanges for our trading (which isn't that bad) but they exchange no get any better security wey go for stop hackers from stealing your Bitcoin and the best they can do is a compensation while others exit scam without remorse.
Altcoins can be speculated upon as they're a gamble but you suppose know say wetin you dey do no dey reliable and know the risk involved. Overall sha hodling Bitcoin or crypto (involving all the altcoins) is always safer than trading Bitcoin while Trading altcoins for profit can be better over hodling them because alot of altcoin are always worthless after couple of years in the market as newer and more marketable altcoins are getting launched frequently.

There are lot of exchanges in the cryptocurrency market now but not all are good to trade and some of them have fake and scam vendors. The ones that have fake and scam vendors in my country are Kucoin, Binance, bitget. And you know why I list those ones because their vendors that appear at the home page (first top 10) of the exchange platforms are just there to manipulate the economy of the exchange. And how are they manipulating the economy, but inflation their ads to a higher rate which they would not trade with you when you place order and all what they would do is to negotiate with you to reduce the price against their tag price on the platform.
So for now I don't k ow which of the exchanges is the best foe me to trade. For now I don't have any yet because the ones I was using too have left or delisted my country currency from the platform so. O way to trade

For me, it probably depends, because I have altcoins that I want, and I also have meme coins that I want to hold for the bull run that is coming this year.
