I used to "hate" bitcoin out of ignorance. Like many others, I thought it was a scam, a ponzi, a tulips-like scheme.

Even when I knew a bit more about it, I still hated it cause it felt unfair that some people were getting filthy rich out it just because they were in it first. It did not feel right that a system that many claimed to be a possible "currency of the world" was distributed only to those who knew about it.

How else other than using the Lighting Network do you expect merchants to use Bitcoin then? It is unrealistic to have to wait for ~10 minutes for a payment to be confirmed.

The capacity of LN keeps growing every month and the UIs keep getting easier to use.
