They updated the site since I posted , now I can see it. memory 6GB. Good for buyers to know, its really a bet that ethereum not going pos anytime soon and price for miner reflects that risk.
It would be interesting to see the bare hashboard. Maybe HBM memory on chip?

Interesting timing of this release . What I would like to know is what memory capacity this E9 has ? anyone know? its not in the specs on the website I noticed.. which is not cool.

This list is incomplete. XMR, VTC, XDN.. etc. There is around 100 gpu minable coins for the gpu. Randomx has been implemented on the gpu to outperform any cpu. The only difference is that 90% of gpu mining will be done with the Team Black Miner.
This chart assume that ethereum is traded at $1900, but after pos, everybody will move to more secure pow blockchains and ethereum can fall as low as $19
what I have underlined is news to me. Would you share anymore detail? also if you have a fast GPU randomx miner why would you wait until ethereum goes pos to release it? Why not be the first and release it now ?

So I was reading through the nullex discord and noticed that Trystan (nullex dev) was saying contradictory statements. I pointed it out with these screen shots took and posted them in the general chat. I posted above and commented that Trystan could not keep his story straight .. That is all and guess what.. yep he ban'd me from the discord server and blocked me from DM's. Damn Butt Hurt much Trystan or what bro! lol also If someone could post a invite to the discord that would be nice.

win7 x64 1080ti c31 v14.3.1
can only run 2 cards at full speed max but rejects also increase compared to running a single card.
running 6 cards results in mining at half speed.
|
|
|
for me using 13.2.0 version with grin (other versions I have tried are the same) pool side hash rate is 27% less then reported locally on the miner. fast but not as fast as indicated by miner not sure why it is the case
|
|
|
running more than 3 gpus results in much slower speed. hashrate drops by over 33% per card if more than 3 gpus are selected
Windows 7
gtx 1070
bminer-v12.2.0
+ 60GB pagefile

lots of "share rejected due to low difficulty"
11 accepted 24 rejected
testing grin on win7 12.1.0

I can't get excited about any Bitmain miners, the supply of them is just too great that you can not make your capital back before the miner is costing more to run than output.
and If you do you are going to rely on the market going up to make profit you should of just held onto the crypto and not deal with the noise and power.
I understand big farms with dirt cheap power will buy them, but it could get to the point that even these farms will do all this pow work and then have to sink all the earnings after power back into the latest miner when it comes out..
at that point all you are doing is mining for bitmain period.

Hey philipma1957
I noticed that you bought the Taichi x399 board, I bought a few of the same boards with a 1900x TR and I have been having a very hard time trying to get a M.2 to pcie 4x adapter working in any M.2 slot. (testing with a 750ti)
I'm running windows 10 and I have tried several types of powered risers and cables, tried swapping the cpu to another 1900x, swapping motherboard to another x399 asrock taichi, swapping ram, tried every bios available, a few other nvidia drivers, swapping the graphics card. and still no luck.
Its got me stumped.
I have gotten the card to work, randomly but It will always crash or freeze and reset the driver, on a few occasions I have had the card working and hashing for 2 hours even and I think I have got it and it will freeze or I will reboot and the card will not be detected.
has to be one of the hardest things to get working with this board. It seems that it will not run a gpu off the m2 slot via a adapter. I'm thinking its a bios issue, not sure what to try next.
Have you tried a M.2 to pcie x4 adapter on your x399 taichi mobo ?

looks at code 500 million pre mine

Bitmain must have been sitting on a HUGE pile of inventory, such a low price. Granted these units don't make profit but the positive side is that its good for decentralization, D3's and l3's for everyone lols.
I'm wondering though, Is the bitmain 7nm scrypt and x11 miner just around the corner ?

end of 2019. lol.
Quote:- "I often think of my 14yo son, who used to mine Zcash on his gaming rig (when he wasn’t playing Fortnite PugBee). I think it would be really great if Zcash could be more accessible to more 14yo gamers"
The kid and others like him will mine something else get involved and might forget about zcash, shame I know but it is what it is.
1 year is a long time in this space.
but on the bright side if they do switch back to GPU I'm all for it. (but I will not hold my breath).
