This is the excuse to design a shit coin from scratch? Why perpetuate 'the problem' that has been with us for centuries? Why not come up with something that helps people, not make them work(mine) for peanuts?
I have a 24-core Xeon and a 12-core ryzen on this and my estimated earnings is 0.02/day. Such insanity.

At least kill the PoS until about block 50k, or like Cosanta 100k. Why PoS from so early on?

the estimated per day assumes that the staking hash is a factor in mining, which it isn't, so actual daily mining will be far different than the estimate

the greater concern for me is that devs are staking, which doesn't give anyone else a chance

I get that it's a plsr clone and plsr had a larger premine, but if this shady dev staking is continued, the "premine" % will be far more

Looks a little sus to me, the devs are racking up all the staking rewards leaving nothing for miners that are staking

The premine was 1M, but top wallet only has 983,410

Current supply as of writing is 1,008,160, which means 8160 have been mined outside of the premine, but....

just adding wallets 2-25 gets you over 22,134, which means that the devs are spreading the premine out into other wallets and staking it, leaving regular stakers without a chance. That is, until they dump 50K on an exchange to give us an opportunity to compete against the dev staking wallets

EDIT: also...with the stated block time of 120 seconds and an emission of 1CMC/block, it would take 1388 days (almost 4 years) for community mined/staked coin count to even match the premine.

My wallet has been syncing for 7 hours with 10 active connections and it is still sitting at 46.4%. What is the trick to making it work? Has there been a rug pull and I don't know about it? Are the addnodes from the first page of this ANN no longer valid?

try reindexing your wallet (Tools>Wallet Repair>Rebuild Index) or from starting with the reindex flag ./yerbas-qt -reindex

Come on over to the Discord, a lot of helpful people there
