1  Bitcoin / Mining support / Asic repair testers on: June 04, 2024, 07:01:28 PM
Hello, I'm closing up shop for my ASIC repair business. Is anybody interested in a tester? I have about a dozen of the cheap chinese ones (throwing them in for free since they're basically garbage) and I'm looking for someone that might be interested in buying this one for a fraction of it's MSRP.

The one I'm trying to recoup some money from :
https://www.zeusbtc.com/ASIC-Miner-Repair/Parts-Tools-Details.asp?ID=2363

Cheap chinese ones that I wouldn't recommend ever buying :

Alternatively, if someone wants to give miner repairing a try, DM me and i can ship you one of the many chinese ones but you pay for shipping. They're super finicky but they can get the job done 40% of the time.

Bumping thread. Still available!

Dropping asking price to 1.15btc but buyer pays escrow and shipping fees. Glad to send it to minerjones for authentication

I’m still good with 1.15 btc escrow to miner jones upon arrival and authentication

Let’s do 1.2 and I cover all fees? I really need the money.

Turns out the “buyer” tried to pull a quick one on me pretending to be minerjones for escrow on telegram.

He does have a few casascius coins from the pictures he sent me, probably stole them from unsuspecting victims. What a shame.

It’s about to be sold for 1.22 on Monday. You could try and outbid him for 1.25? Minerjones is doing escrow for 1%

Still available. Dropping asking price to 1.22btc

Just worth mentioning, and I mean no harm to 10casproj by mentioning this, but the 10casproj account was started today and this account is already jumping in to make a big complicated purchase. Stay safe out there everyone. Verify and escrow, beware of telegram and other off forum schemes.

Steeley

I’m hoping he made the account to purchase the coin as a long time lurker. Anyway if it’s in escrow I’m not too worried, especially if minerjones does the the escrow and the reshipping after authentication : as in 10casproj sending the btc to escrow before I even ship it to minerjones.

I like that you’re looking out for the community tho! Greatly appreciated.

I would do 1.15 BTC for this with escrow but i would need someone who is familiar with fakes.

Willing to do 1.2 if there’s no better offer. I pay shipping you pay escrow.

Happy to authenticate any Casascius coins for you or anyone else. Cheesy

How would that work? Would a HD zoom call do the trick? I really don’t mind the authentication, it has corrosion spots so you already know it’s about 10 years old. I’m slightly worried about the tiny & almost non existant lost package during shipping which would get doubled if it’s shipped twice..

If I declare the full value of the coin for shipping insurance reasons, would the buyer pay the duties on it? Have you ever authenticated these coins before? What’s the best way to do this?

Pm sent

New account so I can’t send more than 2 DMs a day. To answer your question : not yet

To all those wondering why it’s a new account, I forgot the credentials to my old one and haven’t been on here since 2017. I do have some + trust on my old one after I sold a casascius to OGnasty in July of 2015.

Looking for slabbed and original funded 1/10 or .25 (lealana) 2011-2014- let me know if anyone is parting or maybe interested in other slabbed BTCC lealana or others. Also I am not a reseller- I am a long term collect and hold guy. Not in it for a quick buck just want a fair price.

I have a 1btc casascius 2012 for sale Smiley
13  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] 2012 casascius brass coin 1BTC (funded) on: November 02, 2022, 07:31:42 PM
@quakerbull can we continue DMs on here? This is a new account and I can only send 1 DM per hour.

For high res pictures I’d assume I’ll have to send through another platform.

Reason for sale : times are getting a lil tough for me. Instead of redeeming the 1btc to sell im trying to see if anyone on here is interested before I rip the back sticker off this beautiful coin.

Does anyone have any idea what those black spots on the brass are on the back right side? Normal aging of the coin?

It’s brass so it’s prone to rust, that’s why I put it in the little coin holder thing. I was told not to clean my coins because it would make it worse over time but I’m also no expert. I think it would come off easy by gently scraping it off dry but I also don’t mind the little spots and don’t want to make it worse since I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing.

Hello, times are getting tough and I think it’s time for me to sell my 1btc physical coin.

Pictures with time stamp will be posted if there’s interest in it.

I bought it for 1.3btc about 9 years ago and I’m hoping to get something around that amount if possible. Coin will be shipped from Canada, escrow accepted.

Just to clear it up, I don’t mind anywhere in North America as long as the price is right.
18  Bitcoin / Mining / Looking for leads on cheap power on: July 05, 2022, 04:05:53 AM
I don’t know where to turn anymore so I’m giving it a shot on here. I’m from Canada and looking for something under 5c usd where I can get 1-30mw without having to bribe anyone because the upgrades are expensive on their own.

Quebec : too corrupt & working with bitfarms to keep the mining monopoly.

Manitoba : miners left a sour taste for most real estate people when all the miners ditched town in 2018 and stopped paying. Most landlords won’t let you do it & buying a place and setting up takes at least 8-12months.

Labrador : very cheap but hard to get anything done.

If anyone has any leads on a place that has at least 1mw to start with let me know please. I will cut you in on the deal.

To clear it up, I’m not looking for hosting as every single hosting place is highly unreliable. I’m looking to have my own place and expand to reliable colo/hosting in the future. Been in the mining space since 2016.
