I am looking for options to launch a cheaper solo Bitcoin mining with a hashrate of 5 or more Terahash. I am ready to allocate 500 watts of constant consumption for this idea.
My options are upgrading old ASICs from S9 and newer models. On old models, you can only use 1 motherboard with chips out of 3.
I do not want to pay 500 dollars for Canaan Avalon Nano 3S, but I want to buy an old unprofitable ASIC for 20-200 dollars, upgrade it a little and launch solo mining.
Any ideas?
