Hey Leute,

Simply said, the version you're referring to is broken and not working correctly. This is an unofficial version where NotATether tried to implement regex funcationality but it does not work as expected, there are lots of bugs. I do not recommend to use and rely on it. Your mileage may vary. Good luck though

citb0in

It's from "https://github.com/JeanLucPons/VanitySearch/releases", I thought that this is the official version but if it's not, where can I get the official version?

You obviously confusing two different programs. The original one is from JLP and this version does not support RegEx. This genuine applications works fine ! but it does not support RegEx

The other version was a fork from NotATether where he tried to implement RegEx funcationality. It does not work correctly and you should avoid using it. Just my coins

super ! Congratulations! I wish the lucky winner or winners continued success and lots of blocks. I hope that the ROI is positive for them and that they are really in the black.

The Bitcoin puzzle transaction involving multiple addresses generated by a formula with corresponding private key values has intrigued many. The challenge to decipher the formula behind these addresses, with the prize of approximately 32 BTC, remains unsolved, inviting the Bitcoin community's collective efforts and ingenuity to crack it.

uninteresting output of  ChatGPT caused by non-sens input. Actually totally pointless and a waste of time. But somehow you have to keep your fake double-triple-four accounts on their toes, don't you?
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin puzzle transaction ~32 BTC prize to who solves it on: May 06, 2024, 05:42:21 PM
Hi, I have a question for you pls. Does it means that a miner could hack the bitcoins from who really worked out the puzzles? Because once he signed the transaction, the miners knows the public key and if they know this is for the puzzles, they can utilize your method to find corresponding private key and hacked the funds.

For what all guys are saying here - seems like each and every random transaction should be possible to be stolen just knowing the public key. At any time when it is still in mempool. Not only puzzle addresses.

No, it isn't! Read carefully the details to understand. If you have further questions don't hesitate to put them. This is true only for low-bit ranges. Let's say I make an outgoing transaction from my own bitcoin address which I generated using a 256bit key. You will know the pubkey but you won't be able to bruteforce because you'll never survive it Wink But if I used a 66bit key then you can crack the privkey in less than 10 seconds.

Any way guys good luck finding the puzzles, I am still here but focusing in another life projects and family.

Dito! Smiley there are more important things in my life, too. The BTC puzzle ist just 4 fun and education purposes. Nothing more

Private Keys per second: 170893.39

Can you guys write a decent code atleast....

It's an mission impossible . Even in C++

I took that personal

I write a C program to do the same tha your python script I get at least 100 times more numbers per second in a single thread in my laptop core i5

Code:
Total 639630811 numbers in 39 seconds: 16400790.000000 numbers/s
Total 650116562 numbers in 40 seconds: 16252914.000000 numbers/s
Total 671088064 numbers in 41 seconds: 16368001.000000 numbers/s
Total 681573815 numbers in 42 seconds: 16227947.000000 numbers/s

I know it is still far away for the required number, but is 100x Times faster....
 Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
I would have been very surprised if it had been the other way around Wink C is of course more performant and much more efficient in these computing areas. Python can hardly keep up.

Congrats to the lucky miner! Such good news to see
 Cool happy guy !  Tongue

and there is another bug in cgminer 4.12.1, you can see it here in the picture, the best share gets not reset after a block was found.

you mean the best share shown on the upper right? This is indicating YOUR best share achieved so far for the address you're using, not the pools' best share.

where i can find the big list of funded btc public keys?

ask LoyceV or search for him. You will find dozens of lists that might meet your expectations. However, read carefully what had already being said. You will waste a lot of resources, just heating your room. Anyway, don't let that stop you from doing whatever you need to do Wink Wish you tons of luck, you might need it. Above all, I wish you lots of fun, a steep learning curve and happy gaining of experience

Cheers

What exactly makes you think that this case could not occur during the payout process of one of the "puzzles" mentioned here? Just because someone opens a thread on a forum and opens the starting gun for a 32BTC, is that legal? How do you know who the coins originally belonged to and what source they came from? Could also have been created and collected from illegal activities and the puzzle here is a test to see if and how and when someone gets "caught". Suppose it were a case like this: the person who has access to the big safe can't take the coins out because he knows he's not the owner and the mafia bosses and drug lords he'd be stealing from wouldn't speak well of him. So he lets a few "rats" go to the food bowl to see what happens. A rogue who thinks evil Wink

If you gain such supernatural power, puzzle 130 is just a fun, you can get access to more mysterious address like (1FeexV6bAHb8ybZjqQMjJrcCrHGW9sb6uF) Smiley) But here we just talk about scientific ways Wink

1FeexV6bAHb8ybZjqQMjJrcCrHGW9sb6uF    ( This is the address of the Mt Gox Hacker. )

I  lost  0.98 BTC  on Mtgox exchange in 2014  ~~~
After waiting 10 years, I might be able to get 21% back from MTGox this year ~~

this address is  No spend txid, NO  r,s,z,  NO public key, cracking probability = 0%

Well, in fact there is a key and if you search hard enough you will find it. Just because no outgoing transactions have been made from this wallet so far doesn't mean that the address is fatal from a technical point of view - it can't be. The address is intact, the coins are there. Now someone just has to get the right key (don't forget multi-sig?) et-voilá Cheesy

Brothers, I have input file format like this:
...

foo
bar
lore ipsum...
blah
bla

This has now become totally off-topic again. Please stick to the topic, the thread is unnecessarily cluttered. This is in the interest of everyone. VanilaSearch has created a new account just to spam this thread, even choosing a similarity to the topic. Don't feed the troll.

Let's look at it another way! Shocked

Please stop spreading around this super confidential knowledge about the arabic numerals and all the secret patterns in Adobe's vector design software. I am not kidding when I also say you should consult a psychiatrist and explain to them exactly what you've discovered, they can help you further. Clearly all the experts in information theory missed the magical apotheotic hidden relationship between random font sizes and numerical angles on circles. Also, the entire group theory science community (joined by their fellow game theory enthusiasts, which usually hate each other) are now amazed by the unbelievable discovery of some repeated sequence of base 10 digits in a random output feed of fully entropic data source, that you just provided. They will now need to rethink all the combinatorial formulas and revisit the basic principles of statistics. Look what you did now. Eagerly waiting on more critical information about how you plan to find the bugs in the creator's algorithm / software, since you don't really have time to write some stupid code (who does, right? we have illlustrator these days) please the next picture you post should be the envelope from Stockholm calling you to the big ceremony for your breakthroughs with drawing lines.

Let's look at it another way! Shocked

I still don't see anything special. In such a large set of numbers it is not unusual for groups of two, three, four or five to repeat themselves.
It would be interesting if they were repeated following a rule, or forming a pattern of some kind, but I don't see that.

Absolutely!
