Alik Bakhshi Putin's American hand will be cut off Former US President Donald Trump has finally been formally charged by Attorney Jack Smith with a crime against the United States and its citizens in attempting to deceive the results of the 2020 presidential election. The charges on four counts are so serious that Trump could end up in jail for the rest of his life: 1. conspiracy to defraud the United States 2. conspiracy to obstruct official procedures 3. obstruction and attempted obstruction of official procedures 4. conspiracy to violate the rights of citizens. In the old days, for such accusations, everything could end in an electric chair. A month after Trump took office, I wrote an article about Trump's secret connection with Putin (1,2) and Russian interference in the 1916 presidential election. I hope Trump gets what he deserves, and dictator Putin finally loses hope of softening the US position towards Russia on the issue of war in Ukraine, given Trump's promise to quickly end the war if he is elected president in the upcoming elections. 1. Putin's hand in the White House. https://alikbahshi.livejournal.com/31426.html2. Putin's hand in the White House (continued). https://alikbahshi.livejournal.com/32474.htmlWe are in the midst of the political season. I strongly believe that all of this is just political propaganda. They will get over it once the elections are over. Americans would have reacted similarly if they were in their Russian shoes.

The persistent coups in West Africa are a result of failed governance, intertwined with political corruption and intimidation of the general population. Imagine a president manipulating a country's constitution to enable a third term in office after already serving the constitutionally provided first and second terms (a total of 10 years). Even the military is being paid very little or nothing at all.

Let me use West Africa as an example. Eighty percent of elections conducted in Africa are not free and fair. Politicians always find a way of manipulating the outcome of the elections, which leads to citizens losing confidence in our electoral process. This is a key factor in why some people ignore politics.

"Terrorism is considered another arm of the government in my country because it's politically motivated. Many of these terrorists have once worked for government officials, helping them win elections. However, some of these politicians do not fulfill their promises, which often leads to the terrorists using the same guns that politicians provided them during elections to terrorize the citizens."

In my country, vote buying and a corrupt electoral institution are the problems we face. Even when citizens decide to vote for their choice of candidates, the electoral body often assists politicians in manipulating the elections. This is possible because these officials are appointed by the politicians themselves, allowing them to act in favor of their own interests rather than the will of the people. Democracy often seems compromised in Africa due to such issues.

Reading through the comments, some people think Russia made a mistake getting involved in the Ukraine conflict and will regret it later. But we can't be sure about that. If the US and UK were in Russia's place, they might take stronger actions, or they might not. The situation is complicated and hard to predict.
