1  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: marketminers.store is trustley supplier? on: September 15, 2022, 06:58:03 PM
I'm getting into the mining business. I was wondering if https://marketminers.store/ It's worth dealing with? From what I can gather online they look like trustworthy online shop where I can purchase ASICs. Considering these things aren't cheap, I decided to ask around just to be double sure about this. I'm sure everyone understands that my stupid question is important to me.

I'm dealing with them too, they are very good with fast delivery for sure, but something they delivery delay with 1-2-3 days.

4  Bitcoin / Mining support / can configure the Antminer S19+Pro Hydro to be able to accept this voltage by pu on: September 02, 2022, 02:07:53 PM
my power source is lithium ion battery packs powered by solar panels with a nominal voltage of 58v.

can configure the Antminer S19+Pro Hydro to be able to accept this voltage by putting the 58v in series across 4 hashing modules ?

This would be far preferable and more efficient than converting the DC to AC using an Inverter and then back to DC using the standard power supply.

The installation is on a boat to use excess power from solar propulsion system when the boat is not is use.

Can someone please also provide more details of the water cooling system.?

What is the typical exit temperature of the coolant?

6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin versus Banks on: September 02, 2022, 01:46:51 PM

Bitcoin (Right) and Banks (Left) works.

This image is a very simple illustration of how Bitcoin and Banks differ from each other, this is showing how Bitcoin and banks work.
If you take a look at how banks work, it is clearly showing that they rely on one centralized entity which for sure it's a centralized database where all the information.
But Bitcoin, it's decentralized, no centralized entity that can become only one source of truth.

What are your thoughts about this?
