1  Economy / Gambling / Re: match fixing on: October 05, 2024, 07:30:02 PM
I don't know maybe there is another reason or agenda for this, but on a literal sense, its not ideal to go for such because its not good for practice, match fixing is as making a cheat on others just some reasons which are personal, but not advisable to use.

Those that engage in doing this only go on low key, they make it more of being secretive than the way of going by public, because they know how bad it impact could be if others got to discover on such.
2  Other / Meta / Re: Having a post locked temporarily vs having it deleted immediately on: October 05, 2024, 06:16:47 PM
isn't it better for administrators to just lock the post for awhile, rather than delete it immediately?

It all depend on the content of the post, if a post is being locked, then its either a low quality content or the content had been discussed already, sometimes we can also discover that some threads were being moved to the appropriate board required.

But in case of deleted post, such occurs in some cases whereby the content were either spamming, shitposting or found with a malicious content that could be aiming for a possible attack or scam, the moderators are used to all these, when they sight any, they already know what to do accordingly.

Or isn't it more appropriate for administrators to apply any of the options of which includes to either lock the post for a while and delete later,

This is like doing a single work twice and there is no need for such stress or long process.

or arrange similar shit posts into a separate board and delete later, so as it acts as a reminder to others and to the creator of such post on the kind of post not to make and present?

Why spare a low quality content or spam post, for what reference? such are to be deleted ASAP to let the OP know what he is doing is not allowed.
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Does a Bull Run Feel Like in Crypto? on: October 04, 2024, 06:29:18 PM
I’ve been through some ups and downs in the crypto market, but I haven’t really experienced a true bull run yet. For those who’ve been around during one, I’m curious:

What’s it actually like to experience a bull run in crypto?

Its very simple and the idea is on two forms, we can tell you as many as possible on what to expect from the bullrun, and the beauty of the second aspect is that you can also see for yourself by having the experience, now, when you buy when the market is bearish, then you hold waiting for it to rise on a bull pattern, bullrun is when the crypto market sporadically go bullish (rises) and you realize making profits from your investment at the cause, just give it a try by making your first investment and hold to feel how it taste, make sure you start with what you can afford to lose.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should run a Bitcoin node on: October 03, 2024, 05:21:53 PM
If not running a Bitcoin node, then which crypto wallet is recommended?  Thanks

There are wallets in their numbers that are safe enough for us to use, all we may have to do is by maintaining a perfect storage means for our private keys for using them, some good examples were as listed.

Passport
Electrum
Sparrow
Bluewallet
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Revenge Gambling, Is That the Right Way When You Lose? on: October 02, 2024, 08:23:35 PM
Losing and winning are common things in gambling, some even think that these two things are a cycle. Doing revenge gambling can be one way to get back the previous bankroll that has been lost, this just happened to me last night, I lost $250 in my gambling section, then I made another deposit twice as big as before, and it ended up with $1,000+ in my bankroll. Many people think this is a bad habit, not having management in gambling, but if I didn't do that, maybe I would have lost last night.

All these can only happen when a gambler is running after the loss he had already made, which is as a result of many of them, gambling for the purpose of making money rather than having fun in it, if their target set is not achieved, then they try to rush for a recovery plan and still achieve nothing at the end.

I have a few questions for you guys regarding revenge gambling:
➥ Have you ever done revenge gambling?
➥ What is your biggest win/loss from revenge gambling?
➥ What do you think about revenge gambling in general?

I don't do revenge gambling.
so i don't have a taste or idea on what it winning or loosing could be.
Revenge gambling is a bad idea.

There is nothing as good as been rewarded for active participation and meaning contribution to the forum. However, newbie who may not be considered a newbie after ranking up tends to go astray.

We have to consider the rank of a newbie to be what everyone of us have once passed through, another thing to have in mind is to know the reason or purpose on why someone is joining the forum, some were here only to make fun and there is nothing they can do about that to change it, while some were here only because they have some important things to discover and know about crypto, which all these are part of the main reasons why some will stay, learn and you also see some leaving.
7  Other / Meta / Re: How to keep BitcoinTalk account safe and secure and how to use 2FA on account. on: October 01, 2024, 08:49:28 PM
Here my question is how to keep password safe so that we don't forget it.

First thing is to make use of 2FA in other to avoid the security bridge of others having access to your account easily, another thing is to stake your bitcoin address here on the forum, third advise am going to give is by you realizing on how you could safely secure your password through a means that will not create a loopholes on you or later serve a security threat, then know that using the  online platforms for storing your login password is a bad idea.

 •Secondly:
How to activate 2FA on the account? I have heard in various articles and youtube that enabling 2FA on account makes account much more safe and secure. There are simple methods for beginners that they can learn it easily from there.

This is very simple, just go through your profile, then under account related settings, you will discover the option for 2FA and then you check on the button on it to activate it and follow other prompt procedures after it.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: What are the rich thinking? on: October 01, 2024, 08:23:57 PM
When you see a rich man, don't expect to have the same mentality as they have, because they are also after seeking for more opportunities on things that could make them get richer the more, they are always using their head thinking on something qualitative and lots are running on their minds which they can do to give out something for the people to use, this is one of the secrets of advanced technology and innovations, its all start with the right thinking minds, creative spirit and the desire to set a target and to be determined for the pursuit for excellence at all cost.
9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HOW TO CHANGE NICKNAME? on: September 30, 2024, 09:40:46 PM
There is no need for making a request on changing ones username except if very important and there is enough reasons enough convincing to make such a request, just as it has already been said, there is no chance of having such request granted by hundred percent, if such is freely allowed, many will abuse it and become unpredictable by changing username like chameleon, i don't think its something one should bother about.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Growing but exponentially on: September 30, 2024, 09:07:02 PM
How could 13-14 million usd worth of bitcoin be invested in such a way that it will grow exponentially like 10x over gradually in a couple of years in the u.s.? Would this be feasibly possible or not? How could this much bitcoin be put to work?  What kind of investsments will allow this?

I want to believe that US is not the main target on this because they are not investors, but if what you are considering is in seeking advise on how possible making an investment on a profitable asset with such amount could be, then there are many options to take, part if which is the decision to make use of the holding strategy, whereby you could exchange your asset to bitcoin and hodl them down till the right time.
11  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Devil have short time then devil Will be chained again on: September 28, 2024, 10:34:12 PM
The truth concerning this is that devil himself knows that he is going to be punished for all the evil deeds he has done, but wouldn't want to go for that alone, instead, now is he seeking for more accomplice to join him in the lake of fire for his atrocities, all those involved in scam and all manner of evil deeds will have to join the devil because they are part of those that have made life unbearable for so many people on earth.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football/Soccer Winning Strategy on: September 28, 2024, 10:20:02 PM
It worked for some time that I turned my $5 to $40 in 2 days of betting. This is just a test of it as I learn this from someone as well. He didn't teach me the entire strategy but just gave me a hint on how to do it.  So maybe if you can improve this sports betting strategy, you may as well contribute to this evolution.

Despite the fact that there were no best gambling strategies in which we may uses to ensure wining is achieved, but we can in other way try to change some of our patterns over time when they are not productive as we expect from using them, some might have make use of a particular gambling strategy in which work for them, but we should not be misled by such because they may not actually exist for being relevant for long.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC-friendly banks in Canada? on: September 28, 2024, 09:54:33 PM
My first advise is for you to know the current state of regulations in your country, maybe crypto currency is being allowed or not, trading shouldn't be anything serious, especially when you're trying to exchange exchange with the use of the p2p network, though going through the centralized exchange may not be a perfect way of being anonymous in making transactions, but we may have to consider the using of a decentralized exchange or a physical one in doing it.

15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Has there Been any Recorded Case of Scam Via Bitcoin ATMs? on: September 27, 2024, 07:30:42 PM
We have learned so much about Bitcoin scams and all that happens via exchanges, emails, and so many other ways. I am just curious to know, have there been any scams recorded that have happened via Bitcoin ATMs anywhere in the world?

Its not possible that such a thing has not happened in the past, what we may only see in this kind of condition is about the occurrence to this, its not common that you see any related scam associated to the use of bitcoin ATMs.

Not even now that when the use of this same ATM devise had diminished because of it high transaction fees for making use of one and it scarce allocation to some region.
16  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is Coinbase insured? on: September 27, 2024, 06:16:03 PM
From what you quoted that they said, being partially insured does not cover for full insurance, which is in other terms what we may be termed as what can be of benefit to them and not their users, if we are considering a centralized exchange or platform, then we should know that there is no secured insurance cover that can stand in for us in case of anything happened, we should know that once we are under a centralized platform, nothing is secured.
17  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chips.gg | CASINO & SPORTSBOOK | 200% DEPOSIT BONUS | 3000+ GAMES on: September 24, 2024, 08:26:36 AM
If these timeframe for all bonus 24-48 hours based of my perspective is really really short. Comparing to other casino ...
If Chips.gg decides to review the validity period of their bonus based on the timeframe offered by other gambling platforms, then they are really generous because, although I am not against a review, I understand that each gambling platform and company have different modes of operation, and they do not all have to be the same with other casinos even if the other casinos have been longer in the business.

Let's see maybe they may they wish to unleashed some of their progressive plans with time in making the best for their platform, as for now, they are putting out every efforts in seing that things are going well with their gamblers, the service they offer and as well building a credible reputation for the platform, of course there is more to get to discover regarding a review because it helps to have more expositions in casino operations and in receiving feedbacks, which helps improve on strength and weakness.
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Earning coins on: September 24, 2024, 08:07:37 AM
Where to start earning?

I tried selling things, but nobody is interested yet

Sell what is in demand on the market and not what will not attract for patronage, there are many ways through which we can use in earning bitcoin, but before this can become a reality, you will have to work on yourself, learn to have a developed skill in technology advancement of cryptocurrency, build on yourself and search through the right channels where your service can be demanded, if you're doing something and it's not rewarding, then checkout and reapproach .
19  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency market analysis with a focus on BTC, ETH, SOL, and other altcoins on: September 24, 2024, 07:53:03 AM
Everyone has their own strategy and market price analysis in which they take on as their entry points, we may not have to agree the same way with what others are giving because we know what we want and when to strike in for an investment in any of the mentioned cryptocurrencies, as for me, i dont think these are perfect enough foe me, because i will have to go more dip if am to invest knowing the current and recent market analysis.
20  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think bitcoin price would be in the next few days? on: September 24, 2024, 07:37:54 AM
Daily sticks are showing bitcoin price will decrease. Bitcoin is difficult to get to $65000. It has to increase further a little than $65000 before it can get close to $70000 and above. I do not think this will happen anytime if bitcoin stay below $65800.

Everyone will keep on telling about his own speculations on bitcoin market price, looking at the current sentiment and the weekly candle, we should be able to arrive at one or two conclusions that we are likely going to have a more bearish pattern or trend between now and the month end, while on the other contrary opinion, some were already giving their own speculations for more bear, but I will have to say this from my own view, that of the market could overcome $65,000 then we are heading more bullish but if it couldn't, then we should expect for more falls close to $50,000.
