Do not buy these, they are 99% a scam.  The Trezarcoin founder, ChekaZ, asked for them to show it working.  They shared the mining page with him, and it showed that hash was from MiningRigRentals.  ChekaZ contacted MiningRigRentals and they said that this was rented hash from someone that they knew, and this person who was renting the hash out was NOT from Bittech.

More funds lead to further development and maybe give us something new that wasn't announced in the thread. I can imagine the team having some ideas that can't be developed due to financial reasons. So, let’s help them

That's not the case at all, RBY has a growth fund which hasn't been touched since its launch https://www.rubycoin.org/about.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [RBY] ★★ Rubycoin ★★ A precious gem for the digital age on: August 30, 2018, 08:59:07 PM
Are there any recent statements from the dev on any platform?

I see that there was some Github activity when I wrote this!  There hasn't been any activity since though, so I wonder why the price is up today.

It's because TraderDaddy is going to open up soon.  People are rushing to buy RBY which is needed to run TraderDaddy.  You can join the slack to keep up with the news better than here https://slack.rubycoin.org/ Smiley

how do i get into the slack? seems i can't enter.

also, when is it opening traderdaddy again?

Oops here is the correct link https://slack.rubycoin.org/.  There is no set time/date when it will open, but it will be soon, any day now.  The dev and at least one other user are testing it out now Smiley

hash-to-coins SCAM!!!

I wrote about ten letters and no answers in their support!
They stole from me 300 000 Linda.

hash-to-coins SCAM!!! THIEVES!!!

I think LINDA was on a fork last week and you probably mined during this time so your rewards were not real.  That being said though, I don't know why their support doesn't respond.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Amoveo blockchain [ Prediction Markets | Turing complete channels ] on: August 19, 2018, 07:42:44 PM
When will it be possible to buy Amoveo in some other exchange? This VEO-ETH pair is currently not interesting! I'm looking for solid projects and this looks like it has a great future! Also, what is the circulating supply? I have the impression that people are saying little about VEO because they want to accumulate as much as possible before any overvaluation, right?

It is on QTrade also https://qtrade.io/market/VEO_BTC

The announcement released today about the new usecase and direction that VTL will be taking was an extremely pleasant surprise for me!  The pdf that was released shows the team has been working super hard and had a lot of in-depth thinking about which direction to take.  I'm happy to be on board for the ride!

Mining on https://goldmine.actinium.org is now available again!

Port: 14334

User: your ACM address
Password: -c ACM,d=YOUR_DIFF (usually between 30 and 128, but also consult other miners in our Discord)

why on the you pool only 2 miners?? and 2 coins differents???

and i want miners for my APP wallets?Huh working adress from android (from pool on ther app wallets?)Huh??
Whats coin??
ACMD Huh?
ACM  Huh??

Just mine here stratum+tcp://goldmine.actinium.org:14334 -u <WALLET_ADDRESS>.  Change <WALLET_ADDRESS> to your wallet address.  You should be able to mine to an android address.  The 1% fees that goldmine receives are used for a bounty fund for people who contribute to the project.

ACMD is a testnet coin, don't mine that one, unless you want to test.

What is the mistake?  It is showing correctly for me
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Mining Profitability Calculator on: July 20, 2018, 02:52:58 AM
Hi guys!

We have just added support for Actinium to our Crypto Mining Profitability Calculator: https://crypt0.zone/calculator/!

Feel free to send us some feedback.
We are open for all suggestions

Cool

At the moment, ACM mining does not look attractive, at least for NVIDIA, so you should focus on marketing and attracting people who will participate because of the project itself, and not because of the current profits, although electricity bills unfortunately have to be paid constantly...

ACM mining on NVIDIA graphics cards at the moment is a loss of about 60% of profit.

I also see how someone collects all the blocks/coins periodically increasing the pool capacity from 400 to 2400 MH.

Therefore, I asked about the system of reward distribution, whether it is fair for small capacities that are constantly at work...

LOL if you use the average daily difficulties it has been one the most (probably THE most) profitable coins for nvidia over the last 2 days assuming you're using the t-rex miner.  If you just look at any spot during the day on the other hand you may find a time when difficulty is high from a nicehash user for example, and that is probably what you did.  That being said though, instant mining profitability will probably lower (if current price holds) as there are some very dedicated ACM miners who believe in it and want to support the chain and hold their ACM for the long run.  It has a lot of mining support already which means it can have more hash than the current value should indicate, that's if you believe that there is a correlation to price and net hash.  It's all speculative though, we can never know what will happen until it does..

Regarding the pool question I think goldmine is not PPLNS, but instead blocks are distributed proportionally among valid submitted shares.

Have a look and see what Actinium is all about and see if you want to participate and make it grow!  It is one of the most fair, honest, transparent projects that exists, and it has big goals (Lightning Network!  Shocked).  We want more people to write articles and spread the word about ACM.  Some of us have started doing just that.  You can see these recent articles from the community at the website, under the community section https://actinium.org/.  Join the discord https://discord.gg/5xRppjz, check out the pinned messages there.  There is some pretty good stuff!

Devs are working hard and releasing new things almost on a daily basis (which take some other coin devs weeks/months).  Things are coming along well and the community is growing at a nice pace lately I must say.  It will be a long road ahead and we will keep on keepin' on! Cheesy

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Introducing Lightning Network's newest arrival, Actinium (ACM) on: July 19, 2018, 12:22:59 PM
Written by caphook on medium:

Over the past few years the crypto-sphere has matured quickly. Bitcoin/cryptocurrency went from being an obscure idea only taken seriously in the dubious corners of the internet to being discussed regularly on CNBC and other mainstream media outlets. Bitcoin itself has become a legitimate financial asset around the globe currently being valued over 100bill, while the total cryptocurrency sector’s market cap reached a peak of $750billion just 6 months ago. The CME group, the world’s largest futures exchange, succeeded in launching a bitcoin futures market, signifying one of the most successful futures implementations in history. Yes, bad actors and rampant fraud still exist—this WAS an unregulated space and if you came here to make a quick buck you’re most likely going to lose your shirt. Nevertheless, the enthusiasm and real life applications of this tech have never been more legitimate. Right now, the most brilliant minds in the tech-world are working on making bitcoin and cryptocurrencies accessible to the masses.

Of course, we still have a long way to go in proving this technology to be viable for serious widespread adoption. For instance, the current size of the bitcoin blockchain does not allow for quick (under 1 minute, preferably under 1 second) transactions to occur consistently, if at all. Meanwhile Visa (direct competition) can process 40,000 transactions per second, consistently, without issue. How can bitcoin compete? Answer, (buzzword alert!) Lightning Network (LN). What is Lightning Network? The simplest explanation I can give describing LN would be; it is an added feature that is built on top (Second Layer) of the existing foundational blockchain codebase, that allows for ultra fast transactions in peer-to-peer fashion, without compromising the integrity of the blockchain. Lightning Network gives bitcoin the potential to directly challenge fiat supremacy by being able to transact with anybody on the planet quickly and seamlessly. This will have a huge Impact helping bitcoin’s blockchain meet global demand. It’s a big deal.

Want to hear something that’s going to blow your mind?

Currently, there are only three coins (out of thousands) utilizing the Lightning Network. Those coins are, Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Actinium. I’m sure you’ve heard of the first two, which is why I’m here to talk about the newest arrival to the Lightning Network, Actinium (ACM). This coin was launched fairly with no pre-mine, no ICO, and no shady dev rewards. Every Actinium coin that exists today was created the old-fashioned way—it was mined into existence by the individuals who sacrifice(d) hash-power to secure the network. The main developer (Harris Brakmic) is active in their message boards, he shows his actual face instead of hiding behind an avatar (like me), and is an absolute beast when it comes to writing code—just check his GitHub (https://github.com/brakmic). When it comes to quality work, cutting-edge technology, and a team that leads by example every step of the way, look no further than Actinium.

This needs to be said; THIS TECHNOLOGY IS STILL EXTREMELY YOUNG!!! Blockchain technology was officially created less than a decade ago! The Lightning Network is still in beta and has been subject to attacks. The entire cryptocurrency sector is in its infancy and it is important that we do not lose sight of the fact that the real name of the game is patience and diligence. If we want to succeed at building the future then we’ve got to be prepared to do the hard work.

Speaking of hard work; would you like to know who puts in the hard work? Join the message boards of your favorite coins, ask the teams/communities questions, mine some coins, stake some coins, setup a masternode, ask how you can contribute and be serious when you do—you’ll find out who the truly hard workers are quick enough. Feel free to begin here, (https://actinium.org) it’s Actinium’s official website.

The more I learn and the more I get involved in the crypto-sphere the more I’m drawn to projects that have a combination of supportive, knowledgeable, and hard working teams as well as equally committed community members. There’s something satisfying about contributing to projects that have a genuine desire to help one another while demonstrating commitment through leading by example. Actinium is a project and a community of which I am excited to be a part and watch grow. I am a proud Actinian!

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Actinium (ACM) - What is it and Why do I Need to get Involved? on: July 18, 2018, 11:04:22 AM
In May 2017 I started a new hobby - Mining altcoins. During this time I've mined many coins which I wish I hadn't! I mined coins where 20-30% of the block reward went to the founders. I mined coins with 10-20% Premines. These coins are not worthy to hold because these large amounts of founders coins can be dumped at any moment, possibly making my mining effort worthless. I'd be making the founders/devs rich from my mining equipment. Why would I want to support coins like that?

There are not many cryptocurrencies that are as fair as Actinium (ACM). 100% of every ACM in existence has been fairly mined. 100% of every ACM mined goes directly to the person who mined it. You may ask "How can the developers/founders get paid if they did not have any premine at all and there are no founder rewards?" The answer is that the creators of ACM have designed it to be a community-driven project. They do not rely upon ACM to make them rich, they have careers already which put food on their tables. Any developers can come and contribute to the project. People from the ACM community donate bounties for completed work as they please. Anybody who wants to offer any beneficial service to ACM can and will. Does this mean that the devs have no incentive to work? Not at all! ACM attracts devs who want to advance the cryptocurrency scene by creating something new and great, using bleeding-edge technology. That technology is the Lightning Network.

The Lightning Network is a leading solution to solve the bitcoin scalability issue. It will allow for lightning fast transactions at low fees with unlimited scalability. Why does ACM want to incorporate the Lightning Network? For testing, to begin with. The Lightning Network is very much in a beta state right now. Would you rather risk 1 BTC ($6700) or 1 ACM ($0.07) when using the lightning network for the first time? I personally would much rather risk less money! There are only a few coins which have incorporated the Lightning Network, and ACM is one of them. When the Lightning Network does take off, and it will, Actinium is going to be one of its pioneers. In my opinion that is pretty special and it gives ACM an inherent value.

Is it a good time to get into ACM? I would answer this with a resounding YES. This is like asking if you should get into Bitcoin.. 5 years ago. Actinium is in its infancy now, only a few months old. At the time of this writing only about 3.25% of its total supply has been mined. It has a very low supply of less than 3 million circulating ACM of its maximum 84 million. People do not know about ACM yet, but when they will they'll see it's fully decentralized, completely fair, honest, and transparent. This is exactly the type of cryptocurrency project that we, as cryptocurrency supporters, SHOULD be backing.

ACM is a 100% POW mineable coin. It relies on its miners to keep the blockchain moving. It uses the Lyra2z algorithm, which is perhaps the most energy efficient POW algorithm known at this time. The block difficulty adjusts after each block using the Dark Gravity Wave v3 algorithm. Because of this there will always be miners for ACM, as long as it has a value. In its beginnings ACM had started out as a Scrypt coin where the difficulty only adjusted every 2016 blocks, like Bitcoin and Litecoin. Since ACM was a new coin this caused miners to mine hard when difficulty was low, leading to an extremely high difficulty when the next adjustment would kick in and their mining would stop. ACM dealt with this until block 55k, when they implemented the changes to Lyra2z and Dark Gravity Wave v3. Now ACM welcomes a wider audience of GPU miners, and has a blockchain which churns consistently. The community suggested this improvement to the blockchain, and it was done, quickly and effectively.

Already during its fairly short lifespan ACM has these features: desktop wallets for windows, mac, and linux, mobile wallets, hardware wallet integration, Lightning Network features, and nice Exchange listings (TradeOgre and Bitfex). Many more great things are to come for Actinium. The time to get involved is NOW. https://actinium.org/

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Actinium][PoW - Scrypt] on: July 12, 2018, 05:30:22 PM
Please add some Scrypt hashrate to ACM if you can afford to.  We need some hashrate to get the blocks moving.  250 more blocks to go before the hard fork, and then it will be smooth sailing with consistent, fast blocks.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL]QueenBee HIVE (Yiimp based) on: July 11, 2018, 03:06:34 PM
I highly recommend the HIVE mining pool.  The pool operator, metscoin, runs it very well, is super helpful, and is completely transparent.  The HIVE also has a great list of coins to mine.
