1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will countries ban Bitcoin mining due to environmental concerns? on: December 07, 2022, 08:26:51 AM
maybe. Everyone is talking about the EU choosing to ban Bitcoin mining right now. For seasonal reasons. Winter uses more energy than spring and summer. Countries all over the world attach great importance to the energy consumption of Bitcoin mining. Miners have been picking areas that are easier to mine. Countries may restrict Bitcoin mining, but not Bitcoin usage.
2  Other / Off-topic / Re: Elon Musk want to buy bitcointalk on: November 19, 2022, 06:17:11 AM
I don't think musk will buy bitcointalk. He doesn't show his love for Bitcoin. The forum is full of senior bitcoin buyers, and his remarks have no influence in the forum. Musk is definitely prioritizing what the consequences are.
3  Other / Archival / Re: Why has bitcoin adoption failed in El Salvador? on: November 19, 2022, 05:42:58 AM
They are not used to it yet. Because of the payment network, there are not many shops that can pay with Bitcoin. Bitcoin usage is not at all as frequent as outsiders imagine. Bitcoin has been volatile over the past few months. Many people have panicked psychology.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does everyone want bitcoin to be stable in price? on: November 19, 2022, 03:59:17 AM
People in countries that have Bitcoin as their legal tender definitely want Bitcoin to be stable in its volatility. But traders definitely want volatility because there are profits to be made.
It is possible that bitcoin volatility will stabilize in the decades after all bitcoins are mined. That's too long, and it's not something we should think about.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you like commission job or salary base job? on: November 17, 2022, 08:50:55 AM
Compared with wage earners who work in the office, those who work on a commission basis, especially sales staff, encounter different types of customers with different needs every day.

This is also the job challenge of salespeople. They must find ways to satisfy customers, answer customers' doubts, and then let customers close deals with them.

Compared with fixed-salary jobs, commission-based jobs are more flexible in nature and have a greater degree of freedom. If you yearn for freedom and flexibility in your work, commission work is perfect for you.

However, before joining a commission-based job, you still need to find a good company and team to ensure that you can get commissions on time and have sufficient resources for your continuous growth.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another opportunity is coming, a time to hold on: November 17, 2022, 08:30:20 AM
We all know that now is an opportunity. Why are there so many people selling Bitcoin, don't they understand this?
Our suggestions don't matter to them, they have their own ideas. They don't want to "waste" their money here, and when the price of Bitcoin gradually increases, they will come back here faster than anyone else.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: MONEY IS THE MOTIVATING FACTOR, what do you think? on: November 17, 2022, 08:14:33 AM
Judging from the current social life, currency is the only way of exchange. You use your work to exchange currency, and then use currency to exchange for life needs, and these life needs maintain or bring you a better life experience. This is an effective closed loop, and the completed loop is that you earn money and then enjoy the material life brought about by the reward.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will digital dollar be a threat to bitcoin? on: November 16, 2022, 06:24:54 AM
They argue that it is almost impossible for bitcoin or other digital currencies to replace the U.S. dollar as the world's reserve currency, and that the volatility of bitcoin's price and its extremely limited supply make it unqualified for the task.
In fact, the purpose of bitcoin is not for payment. You can use bitcoin to buy goods, but bitcoin is more about storing value.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: November 15, 2022, 06:33:21 AM
Almost no one in El Salvador uses Bitcoin, except for a few in the capital and in crypto-friendly beach spots.
In fact, the future of tokenized money is more likely to be CBDC or stablecoins.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why we should Buy some Bitcoins on: November 14, 2022, 07:12:37 AM
Buying Bitcoin is appropriate in the long run. People who are selling now are afraid that the price will get lower and lower and all the money will be lost.
Now in a bear market, even buying won't buy much. Whether it can persist until the price rises after the purchase, whether it can persist into the bull market, is a question. To buy bitcoin at a low price is to hold on to it. Don't sell bitcoins at will, don't trust any FUD.
11  Economy / Exchanges / Re: FTX has been hacked, delete the app, don't go to website on: November 14, 2022, 06:40:42 AM
Countless people have lost a lot of money because of it, but I'd say it's going to happen, it's unavoidable. The next one may be WON or QNP. We can only be careful. Watch for their changes. Some may gain, but most lose.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I want sell my house for bitcoin on: November 14, 2022, 06:15:08 AM
If you decide to sell your house to buy bitcoin, make sure you won't sell your bitcoin until the price rises. And you have to keep it properly.
Now that the price of Bitcoin is gradually falling, although it is an opportunity, it requires you to have a strong heart and insist on holding it. You should also have enough money to live on in case you need money unexpectedly.
