Welcome to our mining pool!
Most of you can know us,but for those who never hear about us can do it now.

                                                                                 https://coinking.io/

Where can I go for help getting started?

You can join us on IRC on irc.freenode.org #CoinKing, open a support ticket using the support button, or email an admin directly (admin@coinking.io).

What settings should I use for my miner?

We suggest that you use our config generator when you create your workers. You can find everything you need here: https://coinking.io/workers.php

What payment method does the pool use?

We use PPLNS to determine payouts.

What is PPLNS?

Pay Per Last N Shares, or PPLNS, is a method for payment which encourages miners to stay on a pool. When pool mining, workers submit hashes to the pool which have a value greater than the worker's difficulty. These shares give the miner stake in the next block's reward when it is found. The pool's database logs how many shares are being submitted. This gives the pool an idea of its hash rate, as well as how well it's performing.

When a new block is found and payments are calculated, the PPLNS algorithm looks only at the last N shares submitted to the pool in order to determine how much each miner should be paid. N is the average number of shares associated with each of the last 10 blocks found by the pool. For this reason, if a miner leaves a PPLNS pool, and the pool's workers submit another N shares, the miner who left the pool will not be accounted for when the next block's payments are determined.

Are there any mining fees?

We operate at a 1% fee, with no plans for that to ever change.

My reported hashrate is different than my miner's hashrate. What's wrong?

Your hashrate is calculated based on the shares that you have submitted recently. Currently this is set to a 10 minute average. So please wait a full 10 minutes and then check your hashrate. If you are still seeing a discrepancy in your hashrate after 10 minutes, please reach out to us for help. We are available 24/7 on IRC and via the Support portal.

I've been mining for a long time and haven't received a single coin. What's wrong?

Coins will be credited as unconfirmed/confirmed once the pool finds a block. The coin estimate on the dashboard is an approximation if the pool were to find a block at that very moment. There are multiple factors involved with the length of time the pool takes to find a block, from difficulty to just pure luck.

What is VARDIFF?

Our pool adjusts the difficulty of work it sends based on the speed of your mining rig. It cuts down on server load by reducing requests and also prevents slower rigs from having someone submit the share they were working on before they complete it.

Can I convert my payouts to any coin?

Currently we can convert any coin to BTC, LTC, DOGE, DRK, VTC, FLT, WC, CLOAK, CINNI, WEST, PC, MAST, CRYPT, BOST, DIS, LOL, PIGGY

I have coins set to auto convert but they are still sitting in my wallet. Why?

Automatic conversions run 4 times a day, or every 6 hours. The process will group your coins together with the coins of anyone else on the pool also converting. If the value of this combined amount is greater than minimum amount required then the conversion process will begin. The minimum values listed are in BTC prices and are as follows: BTC (0.01), LTC (0.1), DOGE (0.001), WC (0.005), VTC (0.001), FLT (0.005). The reason for grouping the conversions is to help assure that even small miners that do not have enough coins to personally meet the threshold will be able to benefit from the conversion process. When the process has finished your account will be credited and the funds will be immediately available for withdrawal. If you have automatic payments setup, those will initiate and automatically pay the funds out to you.

Do you charge fees to auto convert my payouts?

We DO NOT charge any fees for the conversion. The only fees attached to the process are what originate from the exchange and from the respective blockchain itself that you pay for sending any transaction. The blockchain fee is divided up amongst the total number of users in the current conversion. The blockchain fees can be found [here]. Exchange fees will vary depending upon what you are converting to. If you are converting to BTC there is a 0.30% BTC fee and that is it. If you are exchanging to anything else there is an additional trade to make and the fee from the exchange to do that is an additional 0.2%. So, for example: CoinX -> BTC | Total Fee = 0.30% BTC Fee CoinX -> DOGE | Total Fee = 0.50% BTC Fee

Can you notify me when a block is mined?

There are alerts available in your account details page that you can enable to be notified via email and/or SMS. This includes notifications for blocks, idle workers, payments and conversions.
