1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Dev is not your friend, so be careful. on: January 13, 2023, 07:43:34 AM
Often as a newbie, when you see a new project you are tempted to invest in it. Why I agree that not all new projects are scam, always ensure that you do your own research before putting your hard earn money into a project, otherwise you will wake up to discover that the devs have disappeared with your money.

I have a personal experience, a friend and a mentor told me about a new project that was looking very promising, he advised that I invest in it. So, I did even without doing my little investigating, not too long, the dev pulled out liquidity and that was the end of the road for the project.

So, that's how I lost my investment in that project, though I didn't put much, just about 10$, but a lost is a lost.

Please, be careful out there, the devs are not smiling
And if you must invest in a project you are not too sure of, always put something small, don't go all in, you might end up regretting.

I think practitioners in the financial industry, or investors in digital currency, whether you are a novice or an experienced trader, you should have a sense of awe. Is it scary that DEV doesn't exist, but we can't see what his purpose is. So we can only judge the quality of the project in our own cognition. Don't think about whether I can get rich overnight at this time. If so, that's lucky. All you need to do is to choose Bitcoin instead of going to an exchange to make a contract.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can DeFi still be trusted?? on: January 07, 2023, 08:13:57 AM
Yes,as long as we implement self-custody education and anti-scam ways, awareness is key.

That's right, always be vigilant and don't easily believe in a Defi project that doesn't have a reputation, let alone haven't passed an audit so that it makes us regret it, I think Defi still has good prospects in the future so we should invest money in many Defi projects.
DEFI protocols emerge in endlessly, especially in the bear market of 2022, various hackers and various loopholes continue to appear in everyone's field of vision and news. What I want to say is that there are so many DEFI protocols and various tokens, and you need to find out by yourself Discrimination, of course, the greater the risk, the higher the return. This is entirely up to personal decision. Of course, apart from hackers being an important role of DEFI, I think project founders are also an important factor, because many founders have evil intentions.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Destroy Crap Altcoins? on: December 26, 2022, 03:47:12 AM
The two don't necessarily have to survive one. Bitcoin has been No. 1 from the very beginning, and no one can shake it. The altcoin team will naturally destroy it if they make enough money. They don’t want us to do anything. Their purpose is just to make money.
perfect answer and this is why we also wanted to earn from those coins , admit it but almost everyone of us tried to invest or still investing in altcoin for a sole target and that is to earn easily while Holding our Bitcoin for long term plans right?
bitcoin will always be our first choice but we should diversify and that is to put at least some part of our investments in altcoins.
The survival time of many altcoins does not exceed 24 hours. In many cases, you have no time to think and judge. You are already in the abyss, and there is no chance of rescue. This is the biggest risk for many speculators choosing altcoins.
The existence of new altcoins keeps reaching the market in different forms. From the beginning it have been getting into the market as ICO, defi, NFT and it continues. Bitcoin doesn't have anything to do with it. They get developed and comes to an end. Most of the altcoins, other than the top listed ones were used as a gamble.

Gambling is always exciting because of the high odds and high profits. In this case, many users or speculators don't care what the altcoin is? who? What is the economic model. What they care about is whether there is room for appreciation of 100 times, when is the best time for me to make a move, and everything else is irrelevant.
