1  Economy / Economics / Re: Hayek Money: The Cryptocurrency Price Stability Solution on: August 09, 2014, 02:01:17 PM
Mr Ferdinando M. Ametrano

Around the same time that you released the first draft of this paper, we launched URO, a long term currency pegged to urea (1 URO == 1 metric tonne of urea).

Urea is a commodity that predominately costs energy to produce, and is consistently demanded by global food production as the most used fertilizer.

We would be most gracious if you could comment on your thoughts regarding the economics of URO.

busywork, as you seems to be genuinely interested in the "cryptocurrency backed by commodity"subject, I recommend you reading this neutral 3rd party academia research made on this specific matter.

I'm sorry, I had understood that you have done your own research before buying 12500 URO. Now, that is as smart as buying 1000 PRO after the dev post on the thread.
Anyhow, you can check on CICRIS online documentation that the owner of GES is Nilesh Nair, you can also check on youtube URO channel that Nilesh Nair himself is talking about URO.
So, there you go, the ones claiming to accept URO (the company owner, certified by a gov agency without any conflict of interest whatsoever) are the ones saying that they do accept URO personally on a video! It's better than a phone call, as you can actually see who is talking (Technology, fuck yeah!)
Now you can wait for their answer, schedule a meeting and buy your tickets.

Hope it helped you and your investors group.
Let us know of your progress.

Since you're claim to be legit a investor, I'm going to help you setting the deal.
Seems that the main problem is trust, so I think there is a way to solve this problem:
An air ticket from JFK airport to HK airport costs around 2K USD. The hotel cost is around 150USD/night, but let's have a blast and go for a fancy one with 300USD/night (Conrad Hong Kong) so, for one week, so you get plenty of rest, it's 2.1k USD. Now, let's add some costs for gourmet food, transport and gifts, let's say, 6k USD.

So, here you go, you can have a nice time on Hong Kong AND the chance to close a 3.75 million USD (with a profit of around 3 million USD, when removing shipping costs, travel costs, storage and so on)

Worst case scenario you have a nice 1 week getaway.
Any serious investor would have that kind of money, as shipping costs itself would be around 100k. 10k is nothing and if you have any problem, you can always cut the luxuries, that would make the travel roughly 4k.

Btw, you can schedule a meeting with GES HK using their e-mail.
Have a nice trip!

WOW just wow look at this, the charity that GES claims to be supporting actually replied that they are in fact supported by GES.

Isn't anybody seeing this? This is confirmation of GES's authenticity.

Answer me ChangSum:

I saw your post in the FUD thread and your logic that RIVAA would not care to help with the scam since "even if they get only 5t, they would still profit since it's cheap" but that's wrong, since the shipment cost would be the cost for 12500 MT and they still bought 12500 URO, best case scenario, at 0.002 costing them 25 BTC, with a total approximate cost of the shipping of 15000 USD + shipment cost + port taxes (around 100k for a 12500 MT urea shipment). And if they only get 5t, with a market value of 1500 USD, they would be at a great loss. Thus, that logic is flawed.
Also, IF GES somehow breaks the URO protocol, they could be sued since this protocol is bound by the local laws, in this case, HK's laws.

So the only way that the deal would make RIVAA break even would be to have at least 383T of urea being delivered to RIVAA (Around 114900 USD in urea) which would actually be a loss to them, since they would have to import again in a shorter time than expected, leading to increased logistics ad transportation costs (Imagine having to cash out 100k twice per year instead of once per year because your importer delivered less than you paid).

So, if GES does not comply to their side on deal, they would be 100% sued by RIVAA. Hell, it wouldn't even get out of the HK's port since the receipt is on a 12500T purchase.
That would be a high risk, extremely complex, multinational scam planned around 3 years ahead of time. Which is highly unlikely.

Now people, let's forget about the troll and let's keep this community working for the community!

1)
I've sent a ticket to BTEr and they've added URO to the voting list, it would be great if we got it on a FIAT/URO exchange, this way we would be able to make an useful application for farmers to quickly convert FIAT/URO and URO/FIAT.

2)

People on the IRC channel (if you're not there yet, join us! #URO@freenode.net) are currently organizing to make a donation to farmers in need(not sure of the place yet) of URO to make the difference and spread the word about URO in mainstream media. We are looking for NGOs to help us with this donation to make sure it ends in the right hands, if you have any idea, know any NGO or just want to help with the project, come to IRC or post here!

Truthful: We are not here to tell you the names of everybody on Earth.

Two people makes everyone on Earth???

This message screams as an upset one!  Angry

No need to be upset about a question. Anger= frustration

By the way none of the questions about the 'contract' have been looked into. When will they be coming? Isn't the understanding of the 'contract' crucial to a buyer??

"I demand for you to name all the people of your family! Otherwise any document you have shown to us is utterly invalid!"

See how dumb it sounds? Well, that's you.

lrn2logic.

No, not dumb at all. My family is not asking you for your money.

Nor his family, nor himself (Nilesh).
Who is giving you the opportunity to invest and not asking for money (two different things) is the URO foundation, and if you don't understand the difference between the URO foundation and GES, then it'll just make more obvious that you're pure FUD.

Also, when you're in business, documents > words/names.

Common sense people, common sense.

Scambust: Welcome to the Uro ANN forum thread. Please answer a few questions for us:

1. Are you racist towards Australians? If so, you should educate yourself better, because racism is actually illegal in every nation on Earth.

2. Assuming you are not racist towards Australians: your posted links about some random scams (that are not even in the cryptocurrency industry) are irrelevant. This forum is for the discussion of cryptocurrencies. Please venture elsewhere if you wish to discusses other forms of business.

3. The "Red flags everywhere", according to your referenced post, point to the existence of companies and people with histories dating back 5 years and 10+ years - which are good signs. They are also point to the existence of many people around the world, also good signs. They also point to the fact that international companies are involved in a diverse range of businesses, again a good sign. Finally, there is an accusation about an individual named Stephen Lo being part of the project, who upon further investigation shows no link to any part of the project (this particular mention is an example of defamation, which is illegal in most countries: what country do you live in Scambust?).

4. Your irrelevant information regarding Australians seem rather out of place when the companies that have signed on to accepting Uro as merchants for Urea purchase are in China, South Africa and India. The reasons for you to comment on (let alone attack) Australians seem out of place and strange. Please explain your logic behind this decision.

5. The ACCC deals with two main types of issues, naming anti-competitive practices and consumers not receiving goods that the have been purchased (or goods that have been delivered after purchase but are not as described). Unfortunately, as I have not sold you anything, and I have never stopped you from competing in this market, the ACCC would not be interested in your accusations. Perhaps you have confused Uro with an IPO launched cryptocurrency that did try to sell you something?

Scambust: please apologise to the community for your misinformation and contribute to the thread in a more productive manner. We look forward to your cooperation.

This is just laughable. This man doesn't need to apologise for the fact that there are many Australians who rip others off, it just so happens that this company and people claim to be from Australia. If it was another country then the same comment would be likely to be made. The members of the NIER don't even look like Australians and live in Australia. They seem to have had the pleasure of enjoying the good lifestyle offered by Australia and now are trying to cause trouble there by abusing the goodness of the people there and abroad. They must know that Australia is the most multi-cultural nation in the world. Australia is not a breeding ground for companies or people to try an rip people off with what looks like an illegal currency. The Australian Government doesn't endorse this currency.

The ACCC does deal with scams and so do the Police in Australia.

http://www.accc.gov.au/consumers/consumer-protection/protecting-yourself-from-scams

 http://www.afp.gov.au/policing/cybercrime/internet-fraud-and-scams.aspx

So please give the forum information.

My account is new, but no pointing fingers here, because that doesn't make my arguments invalid.

1) Is correct to apologize when you're incorrect, as there are many others Australians that don't rip people off. You're just being an ass and going all "ad hominem"
2) The dev, have said that the signataries of the URO protocol (which is the legal document, meaning, what really matters) ARE NOT from Australia, whatever other person might say, is irrelevant unless definite proof is provided.
3) No one cares where the NIERs members are from. Do you see someone asking your ethnicity when you claim something? No. Also, we already went trough that, they are not from Australia, nor the DEV never mentioned that they were from there. Again, another "ad hominem" fallacy
4) Whoa, calm down mate! I didn't know that you were the official representative of the Australian Government.
5) There are several types of scams, and different organizations handle different types of scams (or do you think the IRS would handle with local con-artists? Please.)

Basically, you haven't made a single question to true-asset, you haven't showed a single proof of your claims and you're just saying fallacies over and over.

You're the cancer.
