Well it wasn't a BTC addy was it? And what I said was much politer than what it really was (a declaration that this coins not worth $10 to you).

Any further news on a block explorer from anyone or is the above purchase looking like the current option?
Some folk think that they should not be the ones chipping in to find ~$20 - $30 and that it must fall to the dev.

Looks like I am the only one open to paying for anything right now. Anyone else here actually have a founded interest in this coin?

Iffy, I'll go half with you (or anyone else interested).  I was slow to respond because I've been trying to get my own Abe up and running but I haven't had the time.  Have you talked to the block explorer dev about it?

While I agree with apple_talk that it is probably not #1 priority we might as well set it up if people are asking for it and that is all it costs.  Let me know if interested.

Hey V.Coinz, I'm no expert coder but I was poking around the Vcoin and Darkcoin code/github and it seems there was an issue but the DRK developers were aware of it and worked around it.  What version of DRK were you originally working from?  If you were working with v0.9.3.3 or earlier the "Dark Gravity Wave" had issues on certain architectures.  I would update to 9.3.4 asap and take a closer look at the Proof of Work checks in main.cpp in the older versions of DRK for more info.

Like I said I'm no expert coder so I can't help much with actually fixing it but I do have a windows and linux (ubuntu) box at ~ 5 MH total I can throw on a testnet if you need help testing different architectures.  Sorry if this is pointing out something you already knew, just wanted to throw in my two cents as there haven't been many updates.

Dev, I looked into it some more and I believe the issue is definitely because VCoin is still based on V2 of the Dark Gravity Wave.  Update the source to use DarkGravityWave3 (found in current DRK source).  As stated on the DRK wiki "Version 3.0 was implemented on May 14 of 2014 to further improve difficulty re-targeting with smoother transitions. It also fixes issues with various architectures that had different levels of floating-point accuracy through the use of integers".  http://wiki.darkcoin.eu/wiki/Dark_Gravity_Wave .

I don't mean to be pushy but for whatever reason I like this coin and I want to see it succeed.
