Im needing to transfer roughly $260-$270 and Im having a hard time with

should I add to safely send without incredibly long delays. (Yes I know there
is an issue with delays at the moment but I want to safeguard my transaction
so it wont be held up for days)

Thank You for any help

6  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: New Firmware for Antminer S5 11 of july 2015? on: January 30, 2017, 04:40:07 PM
Guys,

anyone can suggest a custom firware for Antminer.S5?

The custom firmware that I'm using already about a month, is stable and pretty good, but it says it uses cgminer 4.9.0, maybe you know where to find with the 4.9.2 from the same developer?

http://www.filedropper.com/sd-s5-20160802cgminer490optimizedbesthashtar

the exact name is "SD-S5-20160802_cgminer_4.9.0_optimized_best_hash.tar.gz"

Do you know where to find the same for 4.9.2?

Thanks in advance!

Still happen to have that firmware?
Link doesnt work.
7  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer S5 replace fan on: January 30, 2017, 08:24:40 AM
The original fan its ok, but i want second fan.
Can the contoller S5 give power for two fan's (1,5A + 3,9A) at 12volt (60watt~) ?

Is the power line of controller S5 OK for 60watt or not?

But do you realy wand a second jet engine? I have like 9 of them that i don't use. For a couple of bux you can have them. Don't know where you at?

And if you wand to make it more quiet.... I suggest the Noctula 3000 rmp industrial.
And then make some extra cooling ribs from a S1

I think this is the best air cooled S5 there is. But of course i made it so it's extra good...... Wink Wink

A little late but you wouldnt happen to have spare fans still layin about would ya? Wink

10  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Blackarrow X3 Interface/Login Issue on: March 07, 2016, 03:50:39 AM
I have 2 Prospero X-1.5 with wireless/screens and I cant get it to connect through my netgear router. It DID work through the crappy AT&T modem/router PoS they give you with their service so Im pretty sure its something to do with the router I have.

Any help would be much appreciated otherwise Ill probably get rid of them for something
simpler to use. When I had them up and running they worked flawlessly and kept them nice and cool. Was hashing between 150/190ghs.

11  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide+Review] Prospero X-1.5. Up to 0.72W/GHs. Perfect for newbies! on: July 29, 2015, 02:48:46 AM
Black Arrow is a scam company and stole millions from investors.  Do not do business with them.  There also is no confirmed X1.5 units that have shipped yet, since they were supposed to be for compensation and BA reneged on sending any compensation to those who got screwed by them.

I was lucky and scored 2x X1.5 units with power cord, wifi antenna, screens for $80.
Theyre a hell of a lot nicer to play around with and the power consumption alongside
my single Rockminer New-Rbox is a hell of a lot more enticing than my first miner
which was a bulky, power hungry monster Antminer S-1.

Oh they also came with the original invoice and ship date which was in June-2015.

You actually got an X1.5? I'd like to see it, never seen any evidence of them shipping anything other than the X1's

There you go. Not where Im keeping them, just testing area while I rearrange apartment for new furniture.

What is the average hashrate for each one?  Weren't they supposed to be 200 GH/s ea?  Neither is anywhere close to that and one is barely putting out what an X-1 does.

What is the power draw?  Where did you buy them from?

Currently underclocked with freq set to 700, 800 is kind of a sweet spot and 900 is overclocked.
I havent played around enough with them yet but the android interface makes things very easy to overclock and set voltage.
Once I relocate them to a more open space Ill be messing with the clock speeds to see what they can really do.
Im still quite new to the BTC scene so Im learning as I go. Im curious to know what the elusive "stackable mount" looks like
and having contacted BA about them they say they come standard with orders. It would be nice to stack these and save some space.
I bought them from someone I know who ordered directly from BA, have invoice for proof. For the price I got them at its worth fiddling
around with them stepping up my bitcoin knowledge. Right now theyre hashing at 130-150gh/s.

Hot tip, they lied. No orders came with anything other than broken promises.

Thanks for posting pics though, it's nice to know some did eventually exist though! I'd be interested to see if it's the same PSU as in an X1, that may explain why they can't get the 200gh/s out of them that they wanted... For reference, from my X1 @ 900 I'm getting between 110-120gh/s. Mind sharing what these cost you?

I'd be interested to know who exactly BA shipped these to and just how many were made

They cost me $82 for 2 of them. As far as who they were shipped to originally before I got them, Im
not sure if he would like his info out in the open. I can show you the original invoice with parts blacked
out to conceal some of the info. Here I thought there was an abundance of these things floating around.

HAHA, the "stackable" was something they promised when they first opened up for orders (hint, it was another lie from this company).  They later came out and said there was no mount and these could not be stacked based on how they suck air in/out.  So basically, something else they lied to customers about and never intended to deliver on.  Just set them up next to each other.

Hahahaha wow, they just told me this a few days ago in an email when I asked about them.
Im wondering if anyone has the 1.16-1.17 firmwares anywhere? Mine have 1.18 and Im not
noticing anything extremely terrible going on but Id like to compare the differences.

Thanks in advance.
18  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone been able to contact Minersource.net? on: July 09, 2014, 03:53:39 PM
Hi all,

I really didn't want to do this, but I feel compelled to start a new thread to find out whether people have had any luck contacting Minersource recently.

I've posted in another old/archived Newbie thread but I can't seem to reply to it any more.

Since the beginning of the year, I have been tearing my f***ing hair out trying to contact someone at Minersource regarding an update with my order. Long story short, after paying for the order on the old site, it is now showing my order as cancelled, and I have no way of checking progress of my order on the new site, as my order has not been migrated across.

I preordered for despatch on 24th February, but I have no goddamn idea whether my order has been successfully received. It's been paid for (which is great!) but I have not a clue whether it is going to be shipped in Feb or not.

I have emailed Minersource relentlessly(!) but not received a reply. I've tried contacting bobsag3, and have been asked for an order number. That was over a week ago, and now my PMs aren't being replied to.

Minersource - sort it out! All I want is an order update. You're happy to take my hard-earned cash but at least show me the courtesy of giving me an update with my order please. At least confirm you've received my payment and confirm my order will be shipped.

I appreciate you're busy, but take a few minutes out and have the decency to reply to my messages (please).

 Angry

Im currently having issues with their customer service. Late responses to emails, vague answers to tech questions always referring to their "troubleshooting" link. I purchased an Antminer S1 with a faulty fan that would consistently turn off and on and make clicking noises and had to pay out of pocket to return the entire unit as per their request even after offering just a replacement fan which I would have been ok with. I asked if there was any compensation for having to drop another 16 bucks to return it and out of nowhere the support email says...

"Sorry, but our policy has always been buyer pays return shipping to us, and if the item is defective we will pay to return the new item, and if it is not defective the buyer pays for the return."

Not only is this "policy" not stated anywhere on the site, I did not even receive an
invoice with the shipment. I think it would be a lot smarter to be a bit more transparent about said policies instead of pulling them out of thin air or using it
as an excuse to not be responsible for selling new or used items.

Im pretty sure once my RMA and the extras they promised me are hopefully fulfilled
I wll no longer be doing business with them. I even contacted Bitmain themselves and
they confirmed that Msource is not an affiliate or licensed reseller that I should just purchase from them in the future which is probably a smart choice.
