Could you please visit the website again and tell me how it is now? I thin I made some big improvements and the speed should be much better now. Please let me know. Thanks!
Everything loads very fast and works great on my side, and I tested this on several different browsers (LibreWolf, Firefox, Brave). I noticed you added nice option for book translations in other languages, and I know for one book called Digital Gold by Nathaniel Popper there is translation in more languages. Translated title is Digitalno zlato: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/38611458-digitalno-zlato PS Maybe you can use Goodreads website to find more books about Bitcoin. I just find one after few seconds search called Bitcoin Billionaires by Ben Mezrich, and it's not available on your Bitcoin Bookstore website https://www.goodreads.com/search?q=BitcoinThanks for testing and the tips! Bitcoin Billionaires is on my list with many others. Still have to find out if it is not too sh*tcoinery...

Hi all who replied earlier about the speed of the website:

Just finished checking it and honestly, I didn't feel any difference or rather improvements on the overall speed of the website in question [tested in Chrome, Firefox and Opera]. - While I was making small tests for the above thing, I noticed the audiobook bug still exists (perhaps some of your recent changes brought it back)! Thanks for testing! Strange bug... Fixed again, thanks for mentioning. The speed in all my browser and on all devices is way up, and PageSpeed also gives better score, so bummer you don't notice any improvement. Running out of things to try haha.

Currently can only find 3 books that are legally free to download. Hope to find/add more!
I think there are more free Bitcoin related books and I will try to find them and post links here. One more paid Bitcoin books you could add is called Why Buy Bitcoin by Andy Edstrom, but you could add Bitcoin Whitepaper that is free. That being said, maybe you can add filtering by authors and add links for other languages other than English. EDIT: Swan Bitcoin cofounder Yan Pritzker gives away book Inventing Bitcoin for FREE to Swan community: https://www.swanbitcoin.com/inventing-bitcoin/Thanks, got Inventing Bitcoin already ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) . The whitepaper will be nice yes. Filter by author can now be done by typing in at 'search any term'. Don't want to add too much filters. Will put links to other languages than English on the to do list!

Just added the requested 'Read for free' option.
You can now check the checkmark and get the books that are available online for free, with the link to the downloadpage on the book details page.

Whatever wasn't working yesterday seems OK now and I can open the site now. I like it. It's got plenty of filters to help n finding what you are looking for. A couple of suggestions though: - I am not a big fan of looking at the white background. Please add a darker mode or allow users to switch between light and dark.
- The site seems a bit slow when I play around with the filters. Maybe the experience could be a bit faster.
- Have you thought about offering a preview of the books? A couple of sites that the user could read directly on the page. I have see that on Amazon and similar sites.
Overall, nice work, and I hope you will have success with it. Can you share some data? Have you gotten some commissions already from sales? Thanks for the feedback. Dark mode is now online, except for smaller screens. Coming as soon as possible. Trying to speed up the website, but I think mostly one plugin is to blame and can't do without it without rebuilding the website... So don't know if I can do much else. Some data to share: not really impressive haha. No commision as of yet, and 90 visitors in the last 4 weeks, mostly because I did a giveaway on Twitter/Nostr. And no donations, haha, but I don't count on that ever happening. Just hope to keep the site up with some commisions over time.

The website, design and all is done by me alone. I don't know how much hours weent in to it, because I didn't keep track...
Well done mate, the design of the site looks simple and eye catching to me. Just one suggestion, can we have a dark mode option in the background as well? I may buy one of the books soon this week or the next one maybe, to support you. I found few interesting titles ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Once the book I'm writing called 'Bitcoin History 2008-2024 The First Peer-to-Peer Network' is complete, I'll contact you to list it ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Haha, please keep us updated, Im very interested in reading such type of books as well ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Added Dark Mode as requested. Not on small screens yet, have some minor tweaks to do... Hope you all like it!

@BitcoinBookstore.io - There's a minor bug in the "Audiobook" section that instead of showing the correct number for each [Yes or No], it shows the total number in both subsections.
- You might want to add more categories [e.g. mining, node and etc...].
- I do know we could achieve almost the same result by using the search field, but judging by their descriptions, some of the results aren't accurate. - It'd be nice to see some improvements in its loading times.
Thanks for the comments. - The audiobook bug is fixed. - Adding more categories is an option. I put it on my to do list! - Don't know if speeding up is possible, but I will look into it.

I LOVE IT! I really like the white and orange accents all over the website. It's such a clean site, and my absolute favorite part is that when you scroll down to see more books it says "Loading more wisdom" haha ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) . Thanks for making this, I'll make a thread if I ever buy a book off here and it gets delivered! Thanks for the great compliments. Let's hope some people start buying their books through the website, so I can keep it up ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Your project looks great, The user interface is decent as well. The detailing and everything when a book is clicked is pretty awesome. I wonder how much time did you spend on creating the website? Are you the designer yourself or have you hired someone to design it for you?
As said by someone else as well, it would have been great if we could purchase the books directly with Bitcoin but since all of them are on Amazon, that's not an option. I also have one suggestion. I would have liked it better if there was a button that said, "Load more" at the bottom when we scrolled to the end instead of the entries loading up themselves. That would make it easier for visitors to also have a look at the footer of your website.
Thanks! The website, design and all is done by me alone. I don't know how much hours weent in to it, because I didn't keep track...

Since you don't sell the books directly yourself, I think the only way you could offer the sale of the books in bitcoin would be to do some kind of dropshipping:
-You create BTC payment links associated with each book (you'll find a lot of documentation about this, offering BTC as payment is not complicated) -You take the orders: the details of your customers: delivery address etc.. -You place the order on your side and have the books delivered to your customers
Otherwise, apart from that, your website is really well done! I will use it as a database and I thank you for having centralized all this information, I discover the existence of many books thanks to you.
Sorting them by language is really cool.
I find the site a bit uncomfortable from a smartphone, but maybe it's because I have an old rotten Chinese smartphone, I don't know, maybe it's my Android version that is not updated enough.
Have a good continuation!
Yeah, can't think of any other way. But the problems start when people want to return the book. Plus the fact that you have paperback, hardcover, etc. etc. And the volatility. Lot of extra work I think... Thanks for the compliment. It should look good on all devices. Does on my Android S10 at least. Sure, it's mobile so a little worse UX. Maybe on really small screens it's uncomfortable?

Thanks everyone for the tips about accepting Bitcoin payments. That would really be nice, but I don't really know how that would work...
If I take the payment in Bitcoin, which would be something that is possible of course, what happens next... I don't sell the books myself. If I than order them on Amazon myself and send them to the recipient, that is a strange workaround, plus the time difference is not something that is desirable with the volatility. Also with people returning books etc. seems like a hassle.
Maybe contact the book authors that also sell their books with BTC already? That leaves only a few books.
So not really sure how to implement it. Any tips are welcome because I love the idea!!!

Thanks. The tip for the free books is a nice one! Maybe I will add a section with all books that are available for free with their download link...

Hi everybody! Recently launched www.bitcoinbookstore.io and was wondering what you think about it. It is a Bitcoin books database with search filters, info about the book translations, the authors Twitter profile etc. No shitcoin books allowed. If you have a suggestion or comment, please let us know so we can work on it. And if you like the project, please support it by buying your next Bitcoin book through the website so we get a small commission on the sales ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) . Thanks!
