1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which YouTube influencers to counter trade? on: May 26, 2023, 08:11:27 AM
Hi, I was wondering which YouTube bitcoin influencers/traders/presenters are good examples for terrible bitcoin analysis that can give me an opposing view to some of the other adept influencers? That I could perhaps try to counter trade their advice?

At the moment I kind of think IvanonTech the Russian dude is pretty convincing to counter trade, what do you folks reckon?

All of them are scams! They are only interested in your money. Do your own research and develop your own strategy.
Even seasoned people get cheated sometimes. I knew this long ago but watching one popular YouTuber talking about Sezar I analysed it on Dex Tools and without further research due to the influence of convincing sweet talk and analysis presented I bought loads of Sezar even overlooking risk management. Look at it now! See for yourself. This is what happens following YouTube Videos.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My mistake was making my involvement with Bitcoin public on: May 25, 2023, 11:11:55 AM
There is always a man in the family who believe they are the smartest, I have an uncle who is currently the most successful one in the family, maybe that's why he is behaving this way, he knew my involvement with crypto and Bitcoin, and after the crash into bear market he called me and said ..

Are you still into Bitcoin? You need to find something else to do, Bitcoin will fail soon because there is nothing that can take away the money printing machines, the government will keep printing money because they like been the printer, they can't print Bitcoin that's why it will fail, stop living a dream and do something good with your life before it's too late.

At first I got angry, because he always believe he knows the best for everyone, and I am different, I am not like my brothers that fall before his kneels every time. I replied him with this.

Why are you so into what I am doing? Why did you take this so serious than anything else? You have never showed concern about me, I have never asked you for help and you fulfill it, if Bitcoin fails it's fine for me, and Bitcoin was never created to kill Fiat in the first place, it was created to support people like me, because no one wants to support people like us but they want to pretend they do.. Fiat is Centralized and Bitcoin is Decentralized, it's for the people and the community, it's freedom and a perfect home 🏠. I can't hate something that have helps me so many times uncle.

Have I said something too harsh? He took this personal and report me to my eldest brother, my brother said I shouldn't mind, he doesn't know that my brother is now also a Bitcoin investor, my mistake was making it public, which my brother never did.

If you are still planning to get into Bitcoin, don't post anything about it in family group chat or on your WhatsApp status, this was my biggest mistake.

Make it a rule of thumb. Whatever you do never make it public. Just think what will you gain out of it? And yes relatives are always like that. Be it any part of the World. What I mean is No two heads are alike opinions will differ and people make it a point to educate and help others even if you never asked for it in the first place. Being in Crypto you know very well this bubble burst news is quite common and always comes after a big bull. That,s how everyone earns.
Because he is ultra successful he is bound to be a slave of an inflated ego. Just pity him and ignore him.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wife discovers husband's hidden Bitcoin during divorce proceeding on: May 24, 2023, 10:19:34 AM
I am not trying to destroy people's marriages but I've never for once like the idea of letting people know your real worth, and this includes your spouse, not until you are so sure that your spouse are for real, I mean, a man knows his family more than anyone, but that's not always the case, if you are the one that got married to someone after you already in money you have to be cautious, maybe what you had isn't for real, you won't know, ladies of today get married not because of love but because of what they can achieve from marrying the man, if you have to come into the light with your wife about your worth, make sure it's the one third of your worth..

I see everything wrong in someone pretending to love someone just to be able to take over their properties, this is why I don't want to leave this country and go to US because this is very common in the US, I can't live with myself sharing my properties with someone that have pretend to love me all this while, it's never going to happen on my watch.

Here in India in Matrimonial the main criteria is a persons take home salary. It does not matter how soft spoken is he or if he is a drunkard or womanizer. If he is rich then people consider themselves lucky that she got a perfect match.
If you want to know how much your wife loves you just come home and say you lost your job.

4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I won £50 - should I use it to buy Bitcoin? on: May 24, 2023, 09:13:55 AM
Hey not so fast!Bitcoin can be highly rewarding but for noobs it can also go the other way round.
In my early days I used to follow crypto channels on YouTube and follow their advice. Obviously it did not make me rich but smarter.
Investing in bitcoin is no child's play. Simply hodling wont achieve you anything if you do not know how bitcoin and the market works. What makes people invest and why and when. Believe me if you come to know how indicators predict you wont need any indicator in your whole life.
For some negative news is panic time for some it is the golden time.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin investment, fulltime endeavor or side hustle? on: May 24, 2023, 09:00:34 AM
as a crypto trader sometimes, there's this question that usually comes to my mind and that is if there are people out there who are into Bitcoin investment fulltime and then if crypto currency paid me more than my current job, would I quit my job to go into Bitcoin fully?

So yesterday, as I went out at night to grab some snacks for myself. I bumped into a group of friends who were also into cryptocurrency trading. Then it turned on me that I should drop my question of whether Bitcoin or crypto trading could be a full-time hustle that would continuously put food on our tables in the near future and if they could quit their current jobs going into Bitcoin investment fulltime?Their responses were quit alike saying that
"to them, Bitcoin would continue to be a side hustle and since the price of cryptocurrency is volatile they could loss the value of their investment at anytime. they also said that they couldn't quit their jobs as that would continue to bring more capital for their investment"

after this encounter, I decided to bring this question too to the Bitcoin community itself so I would hear from other traders like myself. What is your opinion about this would you quit your job and go into Bitcoin investment, considering it as a full-time hustle?

Since bitcoin or crypto is highly volatile one should always have a full time job based on fiat currency and keep crypto as a side hustle. This is the first thing taught in Risk Management by Crypto mentors.

This is why you do not disclose your crypto stash to someone else, not even your spouse unless you trust them with your life or you believe that they aren't with you just for the money. The last one is very difficult to prove especially nowadays that a lot of people only want to exist and be showered with affection and pampered with material things. That is why I do not really agree to speed dating up to a marriage, not unless you know your soon-to-be spouse since childhood and you are sure that they won't flip the switch if it ever comes to that.

Hopefully though, the husband gets to keep whatever crypto he has for himself. It's bullshit that your spouse get to keep half of what you built way even before you guys met while the other doesn't really help add any value to your life in case you get separated.

100% agree there is nothing as a perfect love and soul mate, so be wiser and do not disclose everything especially your mobile and finances. Show some extra affection and they want to control your life itself. Money is power it should be in your pocket not your wifes pocket.
When it comes to personal gains even childhood buddies are known to hoodwink you. Do not believe me? Just browse Google News.
Else one learns the harder way. So better stay safe stay single.

Yes, holding Bitcoin for the long-term can be a good investment strategy for those who believe in the long-term potential of the cryptocurrency. It is true that the price of Bitcoin can be volatile in the short-term, but over the long-term, Bitcoin has shown a tendency to increase in value.

If you zoom out the bitcoin chart from it was created until now, you will see that bitcoin will always increase over time. And if you're an investor with a lot of faith in bitcoin, short-term volatility presents a better opportunity than a time to panic. Because every time bitcoin drops in price is an opportunity for us to buy cheap bitcoin. And that's why I prefer bear markets to bull markets.

Yes, investing in bitcoin might not be guaranteed but the risks are actually minimized as bitcoin is already a decade long and has been proven throughout the years compared to the other coins that got more risks as most of them are centralized. Altcoins are also good investments but we need to be careful from choosing which altcoin should we include in our portfolio because there dozens of them which are just too good to be true.

I also echo you on your statement that bear market might be a headache to some but I view it as an opportunity to accumulate more coins as long as we can afford it because when time comes that the bull season is emerging, we will enjoy the fruits of our labor or hold it as much as we can especially bitcoin.
Yes btc is the best investment. I also 100% agree that when general people panic the clever buy and when the confidence is high that is the best time to sell. To people wh know both bear and bull is money making time. Always swim against the tide and follow the whales.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investment in bitcoin on: April 28, 2023, 08:53:54 AM
It is crucial to have a long-term approach to investing in Bitcoin rather than being tempted to make quick profits by buying and selling frequently. Holding Bitcoin for a longer period of time can yield higher returns, but it also requires patience and discipline. It is also important to diversify one's portfolio, not just in Bitcoin, but in other assets as well. it is always important to invest only what one can afford to lose and to have a solid risk management plan in place.
When you want to go with short term gains and can afford the risk try newer low cap coins. But be ready to lose heavily till you master it. Always set aside say 10% of your investment money for low cap.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto (btc) is not for the weak on: April 28, 2023, 08:41:55 AM
It is true that investing in cryptocurrency can be risky, but it is also true for any other type of investment. Without proper understanding, research, and experience, one can lose money in any field. High risk can bring high gains, but it is important to set aside some money for investment and have a good understanding of risk management.

The fact that some of the wealthiest investors and founders in the crypto industry have lost money shows that no one is immune to market fluctuations. However, it is important to remember that market downturns are temporary, and the overall trend of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies is upward.

It is important to stay strong and patient during market downturns, and not to panic sell based on short-term fluctuations. As long as we have trust and hope in the long-term potential of Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency industry as a whole, we can weather the storms and come out stronger in the end.
Even this bear market has come to greed level.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you feel bad while paying with BTC? on: April 28, 2023, 08:32:51 AM
Hello everyone!
Recently I was thinking about BTC payments and I believe that the system is moving towards bitcoin adoption and paying with bitcoin. And it's great!

But the problem for me is that anytime I think about paying with BTC I feel somehow uncomfortable. I always remember the guy who spent 30+ bitcoins on pizza and now these bitcoins are worth a fortune. Like I don't want to be this guy and pay with an asset that WILL go up in price. It feels like you paying more for the product from a future perspective.

What are your thoughts about this? Personally, I usually try to buy with stablecoins if I have some, it just feels more natural for me. I don't want to touch my BTC while the market is still bad.

I too feel uncomfortable about spending an asset that has historically shown strong price growth. The concept of 'HODLing' Bitcoin as a long-term investment, using stablecoins for purchases can be a good alternative for those who are uncomfortable with the volatility of Bitcoin.

Stablecoins are designed to maintain a stable value, usually by being pegged to another asset such as the US dollar. This can make them a more predictable and reliable option for making purchases. Ultimately, whether to use Bitcoin or stablecoins for purchases is a personal decision that depends on your individual circumstances and risk tolerance.
I personally use USDT to spend and use BTC for hodling.
I tried memecoins. Sometimes they work but 90% are scams. My 50% investment goes into BTC 30% into other strong coins and 20% into new coins I do not touch presale.
I always use USDT for payments whenever I have to spend.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is important? Knowledge or Experience? Or both in Bitcoin Learning! on: April 27, 2023, 08:30:58 AM
Knowledge is the base, mate. But without experience it is worthless.
I had done many courses on cryptocurrency but when I tested it I started losing heavily. It was only after I gained experience everything started to materialise.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is important? Knowledge or Experience? Or both in Bitcoin Learning! on: April 27, 2023, 06:52:54 AM
In my opinion, both knowledge and experience are important when it comes to learning about Bitcoin.
Having knowledge about Bitcoin is important as it provides a foundational understanding of how the technology works, its benefits, and potential risks. Knowledge can be acquired through various sources such as reading books, attending courses, watching videos, and participating in online communities like this forum. However I would suggest while learning from YouTube go ahead with caution Correct me if I am wrong
However, gaining experience is equally important as it provides practical knowledge of how to apply that knowledge in real-world situations. Experience can be gained through hands-on experience, trial and error, and learning from mistakes. Experienced individuals have a deep understanding of the intricacies of Bitcoin and can provide valuable insights that cannot be found in books or online resources.
So, to answer the question of who to learn from, it really depends on the specific situation and what you want to learn. If you want to gain foundational knowledge about Bitcoin, then learning from various sources like books, courses, and online communities can be a good start. But if you want to gain practical knowledge and insights on how to apply that knowledge in real-world situations, then learning from experienced individuals can be very valuable. I think we all are here to benefit from Crypto in that case first gain knowledge then test that in real situations that is gain experience. That’s how I went forward.
So in my opinion both knowledge and experience are important when it comes to learning about Bitcoin, and it's important to have a balance of both in order to gain a deep understanding of the technology and how to use it effectively.
