1  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC bulls back? on: March 21, 2023, 09:32:22 PM
The recent bull run in the crypto market has brought all eyes to BTC, with its soaring prices generating profits for both long-term and short-term investors.
According to new data by Santiment, holders across all spectrums have become profitable for the first time in 14 months, leading many to believe a bull run for BTC is approaching.
As a result, addresses holding over 10 BTC have started to accumulate large amounts of the coin, and other investors are also showing interest in BTC, causing activity on the network to rise.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Word of encouragement for Bitcoin investors on: March 21, 2023, 09:20:00 PM
As we can see from the current situation, the crash of the two largest banks hasn’t had much impact on the crypto market.
And generally speaking, the collapse of banks isn’t the death of crypto, but rather the opposite — traditional banking is dying.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Given an option between Bitcoin and Fiat which do you prefer? on: March 21, 2023, 09:11:59 PM
BTC is unlikely to become legal tender around the world as governments in many developed countries are now creating their own CBDCs. They’ll promote their CBDCs and hold back mass adoption of BTC.
But that doesn’t mean that people and companies themselves won’t want to accept and pay for many goods and services with BTC. Only in most cases it’ll be done through conversion to fiat (or CBDC), as before.
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Starting now. on: March 21, 2023, 08:57:35 PM
If you plan to trade regularly, keep your working capital in exchange wallets (custodial). And when you’ve earned enough and are about to withdraw the accumulated coins, then withdraw them to a non-custodial wallet, such as Coinomi, Exodus, MetaMask, MyEtherWallet, Polyx Crypto Wallet, Trust Wallet.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying cheap is best formula on: March 21, 2023, 08:48:05 PM
The price of BTC is unlikely to double in the next 3 months. Well-known analysts predict reaching and fixing at $30k by the middle or end of the year.
But you should still buy some BTC at any time if you’re so optimistic.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best altcoin to look out for on: March 21, 2023, 07:57:35 PM
In the short term, XRP now has great potential. It has soared by 20% in 24 hours.
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price is looking positive green on: March 21, 2023, 07:54:31 PM
And while everyone is waiting for a bullish trend for BTC, we can quickly speculate on the price of XRP. It has soared by 20% in 24 hours. Roll Eyes
8  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do if bitcoin crash? on: March 21, 2023, 07:40:06 PM
7 things you could do after a crypto crash:
  • Remain calm
  • Understand why the market is falling
  • Learn about dealing with market volatility
  • Don’t panic-sell
  • Consider buying the dip
  • Stay diversified
  • Focus on the long term.

There’s no doubt that if the price of BTC were to fall 10 times, it would be a disaster for the entire crypto industry. But there are very few chances that BTC will suddenly crash in this way. Even though some things could make BTC’s price go down over time, it would take big changes in the economy and government, as well as the destruction of the Bitcoin network, for BTC’s price to drop quickly to ~$2k.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: reasons why someone wants to pay in tether and not bitcoin? on: March 21, 2023, 06:55:56 PM
Reason 1: stability. Forex and stocks trading is usually carried out from a very stable currency such as EUR, USD, or GBP. As a result, it’s possible to pinpoint changes in the value of the asset that is being traded. Trading from a coin that is volatile might make the technical analysis harder to apply. Due to this, USDT and it’s stability can be a very good solution to trade altcoins according to your strategy.
Reason 2: USDT preserves its value during downtrends. When the bear market hit in 2018, holding any kind of unstable coin might have lost you some serious value. However, USDT stayed safe from the slaughter since it’s backed by real dollars.

11  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much return are we expecting next bull run? on: March 20, 2023, 01:20:01 PM
Here are a couple of predictions for 2024. These are the low/high prices in $:
AMBcrypto: 23,152 / 34,728
DigitalCoinPrice: 60,744 / 72,972
The difference is substantial, so it will be hard to rely on one of them. But you can derive an average price.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What other ways are available for purchasing Bitcoin? on: March 20, 2023, 12:32:13 PM
  • Electronic payment systems such as Paypal
  • Bitcoin ATMs
  • Over-the-counter deals
  • Person-to-person deals
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can we experience $80k this year? on: March 20, 2023, 12:27:54 PM
BTC is unlikely to rise to $80k this year. It would reach and strengthen at $30k. And it would be good if BTC could rise to $40k in H2 2023.

16  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will you advice a new trader to join a trading community or group? on: March 19, 2023, 06:56:00 PM
Benefits of being part of a trading community:
  • Keeping biases in check
  • Learning from the experience of others
  • Sharing trade ideas
  • Support in difficult times
  • Maintaining interest
  • More opportunities in the market
17  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Beginners Should Not Go For Future Trading? on: March 19, 2023, 06:37:40 PM
3 major mistakes to avoid when trading cryptocurrency futures markets:
  • Derivatives contracts differ from spot trading in pricing and trading
  • Discounted futures sometimes come with surprises
  • Higher fees and price decoupling should be considered
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2023, Bullish or Bearish? on: March 19, 2023, 10:39:53 AM
One reason for BTC to rally in 2023 is the U.S. Fed’s last less aggressive rate hike of just 25 basis points, which helped BTC to maintain its rising trajectory and outperform as compared to other asset classes.
19  Economy / Speculation / Re: What about the little increase? on: March 19, 2023, 10:33:06 AM
On Saturday, BTC was trading with a strong bullish bias and was encountering immediate resistance near the $27,750 level. Should there be a bullish breakout above the $27,750 level, it could propel the BTC price toward the $30,750 milestone.
However, if it fails to surpass the $27,750 level, a sell-off may occur, potentially pushing the price down to $25,200 or even $23,020.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: Has the popularity of bitcoins reduced interest of people in stocks? on: March 17, 2023, 05:52:50 PM
Professional investors tend to diversify their portfolios. For example, they used to buy bonds in addition to various stocks. Some old-school investors like Buffett still do.
When cryptocurrencies reach mass adoption, then instead of bonds, stocks could become the low-volatility assets that should form a counterweight to crypto. And cryptocurrencies are likely to replace stocks in investor portfolios.
However, it’s unlikely that in the next decade we’ll see people holding only different cryptocurrencies in their portfolios. It’s more likely to be 50/50. Not everyone wants to make maximum profit at high risk.
Besides, we shouldn’t forget good old gold, which will remain a safe haven for many. So smart investors will diversify assets in their portfolio roughly as follows: 33% in cryptos, 33% in gold, 33% in stocks.
