1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FATCAT a reflection economy that just might be sustainable 🐱‍🚀🐱‍👤😼 on: August 03, 2023, 10:34:02 AM
I cant believe fatcat hasn't gone to 1 billion dollar marketcap yet
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the dangers of mixer/tumblers on: March 21, 2023, 03:03:11 PM
Another way would be to use trustless bridges, bridge to monero and out to another chain.
Mixers will keep getting handicapped by governments and regulations.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ReflectFi a new category in reflection tokenomics (reflections + Defi) on: March 17, 2023, 07:24:03 AM
Does anyone have any thoughts on this new movement?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme coins still a good invest? on: March 16, 2023, 10:30:41 PM
I think this bull run we will see a new breed of memecoin, meme-coins with actual plans that make sense not just hahah funny coin that does nothing.
One I have my eye on that I just posted about on altcoin discussion reflectfi post is FATCAT, it's still under the radar and not on CMC, but you can find it on coingecko, it brings a tokenomics plan that merges reflections with Defi to create something greater than the sum of its parts.
once you fully get the plan its quite genius, they have created IMO a perpetual reflection engine, DYOR its worth investigating.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / ReflectFi a new category in reflection tokenomics (reflections + Defi) on: March 16, 2023, 07:54:23 PM
I have been paying around in reflection tokens since the category started two years ago.
Recently I have seen a new style of Reflection-token. It's a combination of: (Reflections + Defi) to create hopefully sustainable reflections.
This could solve the issue most reflection tokens have, which is lowering volumes as new user growth is saturated.

I have found three projects in this category right now. All three are super microcaps, still being at or under 1 million MC. IMO these have extreme moon potential:
(BSC) FATCAT  https://fatcat.army/
(BSC) DARKTAVERN  https://darktavern.online/
(ETH) FUNICULAR https://funicular.info/

In slightly different ways, they all convert some of the reflection tax into yield Defi positions, then use the passive ROI to invest back in their token economy, creating sustainable perpetual feedback loops.

Honestly, these three get me super excited!
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why people are always interested in altcoins on: March 16, 2023, 07:32:40 PM
as we know, many people suggest investing in bitcoin because the risk is not too high.
but if we look at the market there are lots of people buying altcoins, and to be honest I also like to buy altcoins but there aren't many of them, and it's still my biggest investment in bitcoin. and to be honest even though investing in altcoins is risky but I always want to buy and the reason is because of the high pumping..
and I want to ask everyone what is your for buying altcoins, is the reason the same as mine?
If you already stated that you like buying altcoin there is no need to ask any further questions about other opinions about altcoins because when it comes to altcoins it is better to do your own research and don't rely on the advice of others because most mainstream streamers are just influencers who are getting paid to promote coins.

And since you already mentioned how suitable it is to invest in Bitcoin instead of altcoin even though some investors consider altcoin to give high profits in short term compared to bitcoin which requires a long-term goal, the risk between  BTC vs altcoins is high.

BTC is the most suitable for a long-term investment with stability, altcoin, on the other hand, is highly volatile and easily pumped and dumped so everyone needs to be careful with altcoins and it's not suitable at all unless you want to gamble with your money.

you are correct there is a huge money talks influencer culture that is cancerous in crypto.
I feel like it used to be less so in the past something really changed in the last Bullrun, all twitter accounts that mention a project are basically paid in the back end, very few are legit doing it because they like the crypto project.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / have you guys heard of the new narrative ReflectFi? being pioneered by FATCAT on: March 11, 2023, 04:01:18 PM
https://youtube.com/shorts/4QbA4OrQtds?feature=share

Its this new idea combining reflection tokenomics and Defi, to create something passively deflationary, I invested in 3 projects that do this innovative iteration on reflections tokenomics and I find them all fascinating.
I'm most excited about the fatcat because it blends meme-coin funniness with a smart tokenomics plan, also it was one of the first if not the first.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happening with USDC? on: March 11, 2023, 03:07:23 PM
Not really sure how all these stable coins work but how did a stable coin that is supposed to be equal to one US Dollar go down in price? Huh
USDC is made by Circle.

Circle has $3.3B deposits in Silvergate bank.

Silvergate bank files forced liquidation and that means a lot for Circle and mostly affecting USDC.

See news: Crypto bank Silvergate announces liquidation amid sector turmoil

Just like the collapse of UST and Luna, that means a lot to the market which affects the entire whole crypto market but I don't think that USDC will be ending the same as UST/USTC. And whenever there's sort of news like this, the involved crypto whether it's a stable coin or an alt coin, it's always been affected and getting a lot of dumps which results to its value goes down.
USDC has nothing to do with UST; it won't have the same fate. However, this is denting trust in cryptocurrencies, especially stablecoins. Do you believe that the USDC will recover? We are already seeing other stablecoins depegging; even BUSD has suffered losses, though minimal, and it's still below $1. DAI has also suffered a major decline, dropping to $0.93. This doesn't look too optimistic, and it may cause another huge crash in the market. This may also cause the end of stablecoin staking.
I've said that it won't be ending the same as UST, what I'm telling is its collapse for now means a lot to the market.

I believe that USDC will still recover, it's far from the collapse of UST and we both agree with that. As long as Circle will remain committed to its production and development of USDC, many will still believe them that this just has to pass.

I like DAI and it didn't really looked when it fell to $0.93, it has gotten me some worry but I'd still trust it as it's still not that too deep. Who knows if by tomorrow they'll even fall below $0.8 but hopefully, not.

most likely will not be ending the same way but 3.3 billion $ is not chump change, that's serious money to lose.
also might take years to come to a conclusion as the bank goes in to bankruptcy...ect
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Favourite MEME COINS? on: March 11, 2023, 11:25:03 AM
I'm very excited about this new kind of meme coin called FATCAT. It created a new concept called ReflectFi, which combines reflections and defi to create something exciting tokenomics-wise.
they are still under many radars, you can find them on gecko but still not on CMC

The project really lacks good graphics and design.
