now I heard today one of the largest holders lost 6M NXT through some hack on his account. The hack totaled 1170 BTC
I saw this posted by a troll in one of the threads that I follow, but so far have been unable to substantiate it. I read it somewhere, but can't seem to remember where. There's an official post on Twitter that says that guy lost his NXT so it probably is legit. |

I have to say, I'm starting to get a little concerned about NXT, I appreciate one of the whales is off loading a lot of coins at present, but even so the price has lost nearly 50% in the last week or so.
That being said, I'm taking advantage and buying, but am re assessing where I though NXT may be by the end of the year, I'm not sure its going to get where I thought it was going to get to

Yeah come out in the world and tell us who you are!
I have no problem telling people things like this at all, I think a lot of the coins that are flooding the market are crap seriously. And I don't understand PoS PoV or whatever and I don't care to, what I want is the coins so that I can eventually trade them out for something better (BTC) and earn enough to finance my future.
Nah man, I use my actual forum ID for business and stuff like that, this kinda thing would harm my reputation  , anyway give it a day and you'll no doubt see the believers of any of the shitcoins I mentioned are shit come in here and post why their coin will take them to Uranus (pun intended again) and beyond |

Premise : This is just a sock account, in reality I've been here for close to 6 months and witnessed all this alt-coin shit. I haven't lost out on any of these coins, I'm just annoyed that the few alt-coins that are actually innovative are lost among all this sea of shit.
First it was the country coins, then it was IPO coins, then the PoW/PoS hybrid coins, right now the Anon coins of which none really work (barring 1 or 2) currently, and next it will be the "backed by commodity coins"
In the 6 months that I've been here, there has been a non-stop cycle of shitcoins that are born right after an innovative coin (or in some cases) shit coin becomes successful. First it was AuroraCoin, which started the contry-coin craze) and then AphroditeCoin, and then SpainCoin etc etc. Then Reddcoin and exoCoin with the IPO's, there are one or two that were successful though and maybe a few more that will be in the future, the rest was just utter shit. Then BlackCoin came along with the PoS craze, then DarkCoin and now all the Anon shit.
The worst part is that people buy into this shit over and over and keep it going. I see coins that launch without a website and graphics that seem to be designed in paint, literally the presentation of some of these coins are so bad I could masturbate, put my sperm in a cup, leave it to rot for a month, then take it smear it on some toast, and take a picture of myself eating it and put it as one of these shitcoin's logo and it would still get added to MintPal or Bittrex to be pumped, dumped and then shat on.
Oh and don't forget all the posters with an Activity of less than 5, that have been registered the day before the OP of the ANN thread of said shitcoin that pop up, seemingly out of the coin creators ass and start screaming "Shitcoin to the moon" and so forth.
The next cycle of shitcoins will be the "commodity coins" which will be started by the recent pump of Uro, a coin backed magically by Urea, which for those of you who don't know is piss. I honestly don't know who bought into this, but kudos to them they would've got piss lucky (pun intended).
EDIT : Don't forget all the new shitcoins that pop up with these new X"insert number here" algorithms. First it was X11, then X13 , now X15 and I'm pretty sure I've seen a few with X17, pretty soon we'll have coins with the X69 algorithm.
I will end off my rave by saying this, the real innovative coins to look out for are these (it's a big list, but I'm not biased)
