1  Other / Beginners & Help / More Clarification on mining on: May 28, 2023, 10:01:15 AM
I've done some reading on mining and how it operates, but there are still some concepts that are beyond me; therefore, I need some clarifications.

My main concern is with mining, specifically with how long it takes to mine a block and why we use mining.

- What does the term "difficulty" in mining mean, and why is there difficulty in mining?
2  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / How does coin base transaction works? on: May 18, 2023, 05:16:12 PM
Being a new member of the forum, I need more information on how coin base transactions operate and how they vary from regular bitcoin transactions.

Why did they employ coin-based transactions when they could have used the more common ones that everyone is familiar with?

How can we use it during bitcoin transactions if it is stronger than a standard transaction?
3  Economy / Speculation / Re: Know your time to HOLD on: May 18, 2023, 01:07:22 PM
I believe you come across as impatient because I can tell you invest and you are hoping to receive your money quickly or you invest money that, if you lose, could put you in financial difficulty. I believe this is one of the reasons why people have always advised investing only as much as we can afford to lose. Although I think it's your decision to buy at any price, I can see that you have done so as a Bitcoin investor.

Or someone who is learning how to invest in Bitcoin successfully, which is not the way it should be, I suggest you go and learn more about Bitcoin investment, such as when to invest and how the price fluctuates.
4  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / More Explanation on mempool and candidate block on: April 02, 2023, 05:28:54 PM
I'm a new member in these forums, and while doing research to learn how transactions can be added to blockchain, I came across two terms that confused me: memory pool and candidate block.
As a result, I require additional clarification. Thank you very much.
