Hi, Im not here to tell anyone where to invest or how to invest or give any suggestions about financial decisions. Little bit about my background: I been trading crypto and Im self learner and i been learning about finances. I can make conclusions by looking the indicators and gepolitical events on the macro economical scale and i think it's wonderful. Im looking for people to connect and reach to success together by sharing ideas and knowledge and who knows maybe one day we could meet up or Even make our own hedge fund or large successful financial instution. I'd like to have conversations with others about finances and situation when we can make profit on forex commodities or with crypto. The simplest and safest way is to hold your bitcoin as a long term investment, watch the market and see how it goes. You can also consider investing in promising cryptocurrency projects or startups that could yield you interes, but ONLY IF YOU HAVE QUITE A GOOD UNDERSTANDING of the cryptocurrency space. My country people, as federal government devalue Naira come remove the plenty exchange rates wey been dey, GTB don become the first bank to allow people convert your dollar to Naira for their Internet banking. Them tok say you fit change reach $50,000 a say. I go happy if them go also allow us convert from Naira to dollar too but for now, that one never dey work.

The Rich/Government has used money as a tool to oppress the poor in a way that they practically use it to control everything in the world with the help of financial institutions.
The high class as they are called has maintained dominance in everything, not to be bitcoin biased or cynical, but in this case, I see Bitcoin as the alternative to this controversy and if we want to eliminate the power that is intoxicating us, then we must advocate for alternative means, Bitcoin as a currency without any central control will handle this menace in a manner that everybody will have power, control and self custody of their bitcoin, the market forces will now depend on more individual investments in it and group or institutional adoption, just imagine making Bitcoin handy and accessible to the populace.
I think the world will be a better place without notice or segregation between the rich and the poor if Bitcoin is embraced fully since Bitcoin is not a currency of a particular country everyone has the equal right and power to either store it or use it.
It's been established that money has long been used as a tool of oppression but it's also important to consider the feasibility of the transformation which you think bitcoin can make. Yes, bitcoin offers decentralization and individual control, but achieving full adoption and eliminating the existing power dynamics may not be practical. YES!, agriculture has a very strong hold in rescuing a county from recession. It offers an opportunity for economic revival. It provides a solid foundation for self sustainability, it fuels job creation, from small farm holders to agribusiness enterprises. The entire agricultural value chain creates employment opportunities. Agriculture also acts as a catalyst for economic growth beyond its own boundaries. Agricultural products, both raw and processed, serve as valuable exports, bringing in foreign exchange and strengthening the trade balance.
I must commend you for your taking a step into Agriculture. It may seem small but don’t give up. Give it your best shot and see how it’s gonna yield you good profit in the long run.

How long in years should I go before I give up and close down a business that is unprofitable? I was listening to a podcast where Kelvin O'Neal 1 was featured. He said, "If you are not making money after 36months(3 years), you've gotta take a behind the barn and shoot it. It's just a hobby. It's not a business." According to him, "people can get so stuck on a bad idea that they just keep thinking that if I keep working on it, it's going to fix itself. It doesn't fix itself. It was put on your journey to teach you, what not to do." - To what extent do you agree or disagree with this assertion ? -Have you had a business that even though it wasn't profitable in the first three (3) years, then it kicked off to bring in good returns in the fourth (4th) year?

Though I've had losses in gambling but I've never had such a sad one like he's, I was introduced to gambling by a coursemate in college who won a jackpot, thought I lost in my first three trials but played again and won about 80k in my local currency, there are people that's made millions through gambling and some others are yet to win but still find it difficult to quit, share your experience if you have any whether good or bad, cause I believe there are people here who would learn from it.
I'm not an addicted gambler, but rather a seasonal gambler who enjoys it for entertainment purposes. I've also had my fair share of both losses and winnings, but I approach it with a balanced mindset. Gambling attracts me because of the possibility of winning, even though the risks often outweigh the rewards. Remember that success in gambling is not guaranteed, regardless of expertise or knowledge. Each individual's experience varies, and while some may be lucky, others may face more challenges. I heard of a story about two gamblers that got into a serious fight on the grounds that a bet they merged an amount of money equally to place using the online account of one person among their two. Luckily for them the bet won. But something happened, when it got to the sharing formula of the total amount won the owner of the account insisted on taking a lion's share since it was his account that was used in placing the bet. The latter refusing to accept it that way they got into a serious fight. How pathetic!
What could make you get into a fight with your fellow gambler? And would you agree at anytime to double cash with your fellow gambler to place a bet using his account, on the notion of increasing the potential win.

Oral agreements aren’t always enough when it comes to money matters no matter how close the both parties are. I trust my family, but when it comes to financial matters, I always put them into writing when it comes to business. As a morally upright person that does not like to cheat people, but gambles and has lost a lot of money to gambling in a casino where you have sometimes been cheated even without your knowledge or betting on sports, will you take an opportunity you get and go against your moral standards to cheat a casino or sportsbetting place, just so you can win big at least even once.
Will you try a trick to win on casino game machines if you were told and it is a 100% working trick to cash out? Will you bet on fixed games if you get the tip early?

I have been thinking about trading in Bitcoin for quite some time now. I have been involved with Bitcoin for a long time but am still thinking about investing here. I used to run DPS in bank for 30 dollars per month for 5 years, this DPS will complete 5 years this month. I'll get roughly $1800, I don't think it's much of a savings to keep that money in the bank. Bangladesh is suffering from severe dollar crisis due to which many banks are likely to go bankrupt. The names of those banks have not yet been published by any mass media. Because of the economic condition of Bangladesh, I want to invest my money in Bitcoin. I still don't understand if my decision is right, please let me know your opinion
Do not invest your entire savings in bitcoin. As you already know that Investing in bitcoin is also a risky endeavor cuz of its volatility especially if you're uncertain about its potential outcomes. Given the circumstances you've mentioned, where traditional banking may face challenges, diversifying your investments can be a prudent approach. I advice you take half and start up a small business over there (i.e if you currently have no job doing), study the market, look for what's trendy and start up in a small way. You can invest the other half in bitcoin and hodl while you hope for the best. |

Although this wallet is not only focused on bitcoin because there are some features that I will not use and of course there are some disadvantages but I will use this wallet for storing my bitcoin assets at this time. But I will probably only use this for a while because I still want something else for my Hardware Wallet.

I sent a few sats, using Sparrow wallet... worked flawlessly... nothing connected... just sign the transaction on device, save to mini sd card, then load that file onto your PC, and into Sparrow to finalize.

I would never had thought that bitcoin would take me on a journey into life long and continuous learning. I am always amazed by the level of knowledge myself and my peers have been exposed to since we invested in bitcoin. Our non-technical background hasn't stopped me from stretching myself to learn about the universe of discipline that is embedded in bitcoin.
Understanding market trends has made me dabbled into probability and statistics. The concept of 21 million bitcoins supply cap has pushed me to learn and understand more about economics. The law of scarcity, supply, demand and the concept of money. My journey into bitcoin has lead me to learn about computer science while trying to understand how blockchain works, peer-to-peer networks. I have been also able to learn about on-chain analysis through using transaction data to make prediction of the market and public sentiments. I have likewise been able to gather knowledge in relation to bitcoin concepts like signatures, keys, hashes, wallets. These fall under cryptography that plays a huge role in safeguarding our bitcoin transactions. I will not fail to mention how because of bitcoin I have taken a dive into the world of finance, through learning how bitcoin can help improve the problems faced by financial system and well as bringing about financial freedom. Lastly, I have been able to learn how Bitcoin protocol leverages game theory to ensure network security.
Please note that I don't know it all but I can have a light conversation on each of this disciplines in respect to bitcoin.

For me, at the beginning, it was quite challenging for me to understand the concept of bitcoin as a whole, but as you stated, with dedication and understanding to the trends, I was able to begin to assimilate. I’m in serious pain as I’ve lost another friend to Sickle Cell 💔. Over the years, I’ve lost a quite a number of friends to sickle cell disease. I’ve witness scenarios where some of them battled with serious health breakdown and wish they were never born. This is so painful because they never signed up for this. Such has happened to them because of either ignorance, stubbornness or selfishness on their parents part. Ignorance in the sense that many parents know nothing about genotype and as such, get married to each other and just start producing children. Stubbornness/Selfishness in the sense that some of these parents know fully well that they ain’t compatible, yet they go ahead to get married and produce children all in the name of love or with the religion mindset that a miracle will happen and the genotype of their children will miraculously change. I consider this an act of wickedness, cuz why will you decide to jeopardize the lives of your unborn kids when you’re not compatible with your spouse all in the name of love? Love is not enough to get married and produce kids! Couples get married every week, which is why It is imperative for the government to take the issue of genotype matching seriously by first creating a wide range of awareness/orientation on Genotype matching and also implement laws that discourages consanguineous marriages so as to help protect individuals and future generations, foster genetic diversity and promote public health. This doesn’t just end with the government, but also, religious leaders who join couples together, should do well in sensitizing couples and ensuring that they are a match before getting them wedded. Yes, it’s true that this cannot be entirely handled cuz no one can control who has sex and who doesn’t regardless they are married couples or not, but a wide range of awareness/orientation will go a long way in saving future generations. Regardless of the warnings and many alt farms that’s been caught over the years, there will always be those whose sole intent is to profit off signature campaigns and bounty. It’s not as easy for bounty hunters to grow an account so they resort to other means like buying accounts and exchanging merits between their alts. “As they say everyday for the thief, one day for the owner”. It’s okay to have multiple accounts, just don’t exchange merits between them and do not participate in the same campaign. You can even give a neutral tag to your alt so people know it’s you.

I saw a locked 🔐 post from 2021 which I found interesting, and want to share how it has been helpful to me by expanding my knowledge about this forum. The OP (@HridoyHk_5), was addressing the issue of multiple accounts and also, urging members of the forum to avoid using multiple accounts which ofcourse is a good advise, check out the post; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5377591.msg58755798#msg58755798But then, unfortunately for the OP he was found guilty of same topic he created and advice he was dishing as he was found to be connected to various accounts. Nevertheless, this has been quite helpful to me as it has educated me that there’s nothing hidden under the sun and there are ways around fishing out defaulters in this forum. It set an example for me and has also taught me on how not to be careless on the forum and has also made me bury any thoughts of doing anything that may in turn, one way or the other, lead to my account being flagged.
