1  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: URGENT! Anyone heard of abitsky.com? on: July 15, 2019, 12:12:34 PM
I was really afraid to use aBitSky but I give it a try because the price in CheapAir was almost double that it was with regular money on Priceline so I decide to try.

I got a price less than any other place I looked on the Internet, I got more afraid, but still crossed my fingers and booked.

The confirmation took hours and I got more afraid until I realize there is a 7 hours difference and at the time I booked was midnight already in Lithuania.

Guess what, today I received the confirmation and when I get to the airlines website to confirm the reservation with the booking number received on the email and my name MY NAME WAS THERE!!!!!! with all the Itinerary.

I don't know how they do it but I saved 0.2BTC that means more than 2k in dollars at today price.

I fell like avoided a ripoff because that is what the regular prices for airlines tickets I looked in the Internet are a ripoff.

For now on I will book with BitSky but First Class not Economy.

Slush has been running @ 109% for the last 250 blocks.  It's a great pool and worth your serious consideration.

Thank you for pointing me to the right pool, just tested both BTC,com and Slush, definitely Slush bring more return follow by BTC, I already left Antpool out of the equation.

Roll Eyes   you are a few years late for btcguild

Well I search btcguild and got BTC.com as reply, that is the one I am using now and definitely is paying more than Antpool, around 0.00016 more daily than Antpool. And in the last 2 days no delays or "abominable" other things happening. Will see.
I maybe try Slush latter in the week just to compare.
4  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BITMAIN announces Antpool on: December 08, 2017, 04:13:22 PM
I would not say the miners, but the pool.
My miners works fine but the pool does not show any earnings on my account, earnings are going somewhere else.
Just right now can't access my Antpool account, only able to access Bitmain account, that is all, it maybe a temporary issue but there is no communication from the pool about any issue, they are as mute as always.
Just in case I am moving to another pool.

There is no one here to help you with this problem.  Help yourself by moving to any other pool than this one. Hell I’d point at nicehash/btcguild  right now Over this abomination. Roll Eyes

BR

Well Nicehash has been hacked and is down for 24 hours, that left only btcguild.

Right word, abomination, you go it. As soon as I change to btcguild start seeing Real Time estimate earnings. I am trying to login to Antpool for around 45 minutes now after logout and can't get in, maybe hacked too but no news anywhere about it.
Now I have to drive to the other locations to change pool.

Thanks for the advise.

Same here, Antpool shows Hashrate for the last 24 hours but last 24 hours earnings is 0.
I saw this before happened for an 1 hour or 2 and then it recovers and post right earnings but this time is happening for more than 2 hours, no earnings at all for the last day.

Over 16000 us on Coinbase this morning!

Funny, looks like BTC is sucking the value from the other coins, I also have BCH, ETH and DASH and all going down while BTC up.

What is the fastest, easiest, and cheapest way to convert BTC to BCC?

- use the app Coinomi

Looks like Coinomi is not useful anymore, Changelly is not showing BCH as an option to exchange from BTC to BCH.

What the numbers in the HW column on the Miner Status screen mean?

Got a new S9 and after a week one power supply feeding cards 6 and 7 die for a power outage, after that only card 8 working.
After power down the other power supply and power on both, the S9 did not hash, took about 4 power reset, 1 reboot and another power reset to make it hash.
When finally start hashing it only hash 9TB, card 6 show number 9 in HW column and card 7 shows numbers 18 or 26 randomly.
All the ships shows o there is no X anywhere. Card 6 shows 68 chips, card 7 56 and card 8 68. Hashing shows 4500 on all 3 cards.
Do I have a bad power supply or something wrong with this miner?

Power supplies I am using are:
Card 8 and controller - 1000W Enermax Revolution87+
Cards 6 and 7 - 1200W Corsair AX1200i.

Any feed will be appreciated, for now I have the miner down until I get a new power supply to replace the Corsair.

If you have had your coins from before the hard fork that gave us Bitcoin Cash, you have the same amount in Bitcoin Cash (BCH).

Otherwise you'd have to exchange your BTC for BCC and transfer that as payment.

Yes I have the coins before the fork but the value in dollars for each one is different, bitmain is asking for more than 4 BCC, in BTC will be less than one BTC.

I don't see any other way than open a BCC wallet and transfer from the BTC wallet.

Trying to place an order on Bitmain website but only BCC option shows up, no BTC.

Any clues?
They only accept Bitcoin Cash payments for this batch.

I only have a bitcoin core wallet, no idea how to place an order with BCC, guess I need a BCC wallet?

Have two units in Europe to sell, if you need.
I will probably go on D3

Europe, far, shipping will raise the cost, are those new, what is the price?

Already order 1 from Amazon 100% positive feedback vendor I used a year ago, but I am considering buy more.

S9 back in stock on the Bitmain website. It's interesting that they actually raised the price given the weakness in the Bitcoin market.

Which website you are looking at?

Certainly they increase the price but the Add to cart still grayed out.

Forget getting chips. The BE200 is long long long out of production. To the chip Foundries miner chips are boutique items and are produced in very limited numbers so zero chance of finding unused chips. Only hope is to find dead miners and harvest the chips from them.

As for dead Ants -- where are you running them? I have had over 100 of them from s1 up to the latest s9's and have had very very few problems even with my s9's. Zero dead ones. Ever. Bitmains R4, ja POS -- have 3 of them, 2 are perfect, 1 lost a hash board within 25hrs of starting.
[/quote]

I was running them from home with portable AC units on each one. in separate rooms.
At the end with the BTC value increase I get the invested money back but with the difficulty increase I am hesitating to buy another S9 and not get the money back before it crash.
I guess I have bad luck or maybe because I bought 1 at a time Bitmain just send units that were sitting there with no much care.
I can't see any link to order from the Bitmain website everything is out of stock.

Need to check the settings on my account, did not get any email when electrobits reply back.
It is not true all my Antminers broke, only the S7 and S9 broke, the 3 S7 last 6 months after that stopped hashing one board at a time until all the ship shows X in all boards, the 3 S9 last 2 month to 3 month, after that the miners only hash for 20 minutes and gradually decrease the hashing until stop.
I had S2, S3 and S5 all working since 2013 but when I get the S7 and S9 I trow all the old ones to the garbage because of the noise and the power consumption.

At the end the only one working is this BTCGarden, by the way I found the problem on board 2 after testing board by board, I moved it to the last position and disconnect it, it is hashing steady since. When checking the board I found the aluminum oxide from the chassis dropped over the board, the chassis has a plastic protection outside but not inside, before I put it together I paint the inside of the chassis with rust oleum so it does not happen to the other boards.

For what I see, whoever design the BTCGarden care more about quality and endurance than profit and did the boards design with more space between components and more heat sink cooling area making the miner to run cool, with less fan speed and noise making the fans to last longer.

What you mean by main bits?
