Looking great MJ!

Not sure what you mean by misprint?  If you are referring to the low or zero insertion Meta-Rares, then a no.  We've been through those overrage boxes now pretty well now and aside from a couple of cards of each design not needed to complete the production, everything is out there including the Bitcoin Crunch cards.  Either people aren't parting with them or they are still in some sealed boxes somewhere.

Only one single Bitcoin crunch Emerald gemstone has ever been seen (99/99). If they’re all still out there, is it possible they’re all in one case or something crazy? For us to have only seen one this far (and it’s the last print) is kinda concerning.

Cardsmiths has a 10% off first time order? I just signed up and don’t see any such offer.
7  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN/INFO] CARDSMITHS - CURRENCY SERIES 1 TRADING CARDS on: June 08, 2023, 05:08:36 AM
It’s also unclear of what the MR CS cards that weren’t supposed to exist did to the odds of MRs in general. Is pulling ANY MR (CS or HF) still a 1:124 chance? Or did more MR cards get printed to fill the CS spots? So far it seems that the MR CS are a lot more common. But does that put MR HF at even higher odds than 1:124? I think only Cardsmiths knows that one.
8  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN/INFO] CARDSMITHS - CURRENCY SERIES 1 TRADING CARDS on: June 08, 2023, 04:38:22 AM
Question...do all the meta rare cards have gem refractor variants?

Just been thinking about some numbers.  The odds of pulling a meta rare refractor are 1 in 124 packs yeah?  Well if you take the 204,000 packs (2125 cases) and divide that by 124 that would mean there are about 1,645 meta rare refractors.

So there are 11 meta rare cards, and if each of them has a gem stone variant that is gonna be like 3,718 cards. That's not even counting the foil and sparkle versions.

I know this has been touched on before but has there been any clear answer to what cards do the 1 in 124 packs odds apply to?

You kinda answered your own question. The 1:124 odds per PACK apply to ONLY the MR ‘Refractors’ which are the HF versions. Not the gemstone refractors cause like you said, there’s 3718 of those. (=1:55 odds to pull one)

That puts MR HFs (150 total of each - 1645/11) and MR beryls at almost the exact same card amount. 150 MR HF each vs 149 MR Beryls each.

I have a breakdown of how many of every card there is but it’s hard to put it all in text.

The only thing I’m unclear of is do they make MR8 in gemstone? Have we seen ANY yet? Maybe since they give them out with (re)redemptions, they cut out the gemstones on only that card which would skew the numbers slightly.

Cold foil heating up 200 usd is base now. What serialized card are they equal too in terms of print run

Sapphire I think. Even a bit more rare, I'd estimate 250-300 of each card total.

If the estimate is right, the chance of pulling any given CF is more rare than pulling any given gold refractor. ~600 vs 730 total gold cards.

Pulling a sapphire is almost as rare as pulling two CFs. 365 vs ~300.

Need the following crystal sparkle cards to complete the set - can buy most on eBay but wanted to give the forum a shot first. Need following:

1, 6, 9, 11, 20, 21, 23, 25, 42, 44, 45, 47, 48, 49, 51, 53, 57

Have numerous base, duplicates, and other refractors to trade - or plain ol fiat/btc

Thanks to all who have helped!!

Updated list of CS needs:

1, 23, 25, 42, 44, 49, 53, 57

I have 23 & 25 if you still need them
11  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN/INFO] CARDSMITHS - CURRENCY SERIES 1 TRADING CARDS on: May 25, 2023, 04:12:10 AM
Dope, so 3-4 cases would be 288-384 packs (case has 48 boxes with 2 packs each). At 5 cards per pack that’s 1440-1920. So fair to say it’s rare…

Keep it simple. 1 every 3-4 cases is: 2125/~3.5 = ~607 total CFs. So there’s realistically 275 - 325 of each Cold Foil cards. That’s pretty rare considering there’s 2125 redemption cards. Roughly 1:336 chances per pack to pull a CF, wow! Thanks for the info Jupityr!
12  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN/INFO] CARDSMITHS - CURRENCY SERIES 1 TRADING CARDS on: May 22, 2023, 04:03:09 AM
Reference for the conversation. Here is the MR8 HF. It was confirmed this was the only variation

But there’s GRs right?

Value of MR8?
13  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN/INFO] CARDSMITHS - CURRENCY SERIES 1 TRADING CARDS on: May 22, 2023, 03:55:24 AM
If they’re sent with the wallets does that mean there’s 2125 of them? That also fixes the odds to the redemptions, 1:96 (for that specific card) not 1:124. Quite confusing…
14  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN/INFO] CARDSMITHS - CURRENCY SERIES 1 TRADING CARDS on: May 22, 2023, 03:39:29 AM
The MR cards have nothing to do with redemption cards.
MR8 (Year of the Ox) can be found in HF (holofoil - the real meta-rare), CS (crystal sparkle), and gemstone refractor (apart from the diamond)

I think you missed it. There’s no MR8 CS. And Jupityr said this themselves:

Hi

I understand the MR 8 CS wasnt created but im still looking anyway just in case

The MR 8 is sent along with the Cardsmiths crypto wallet cards.  They definitely exist!

Just to clarify.. The MR8 holofoil comes with the cards. Im looking for the MR8 Crystal sparkle. Thats the one that potentially dosent exist... correct?

Yes, correct.
15  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN/INFO] CARDSMITHS - CURRENCY SERIES 1 TRADING CARDS on: May 22, 2023, 02:53:38 AM
So MR8s only come with *some* of the redemption cards? What’s the value of an MR8 right now?

Beautiful card Yoda. Here’s an Amethyst for direct comparison.

I calculated the total number of gemstone reflector cards on this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5406560.msg60811706#msg60811706

I don't have a calculator handy right now but it wouldn't be too hard to work out how many MR gemstones should have been printed.
One factor that may change the numbers is that we are still yet to see the MR6 card, I think every other MR holofoil card has been found apart from that one

I already worked out how many MR GRs there are, 3718. That’s the number that all my math revolves around above to give the odds of MR GRs being roughly 1:55. It also proves that the 1:124 odds must be the MR HFs.

I’m sure the MR6 HFs will show up, probability can be weird sometimes.

if there are 3718 MR refractors out of a million cards I think the odds would be 1:268. But on a side note there are 11 potential MR refractors but only 5 have been discovered. To date no refractors or holofoils have been found for MR3, MR4A, MR6, MR6A, MR7A, and MR8. So either these cards were dispersed into later boxes or weren't made at all. If only 5 MR refractors exist odds would be more like 1:645 I believe

1:268 sounds like odds per card. (My math comes to 1:274) Divide by 5 to get odds per pack: 1:55

1:124 odds would equal only 1625 MR so those have to be how many HFs (‘refractors’)  there are, not the 3718 MR GRs.

So there should be ~147 HF of each MR vs 338 GR of each MR

I believe that a MR gemstone would be more rare than a HF version. We haven't seen many MR gemstone cards yet.

I calculated the odds of pulling a MR gemstone refractor at around 1:56 per pack. Based on there being 3718 out of 1.02m total cards. The odds of a MR HF are the true 1:124.

Regarding the MR cards, the true MR cards found at the odds of 1:124 are the holofoil version, not the crystal sparkle version.
You can read more about it from this post on:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5406560.msg61181212#msg61181212

It appears that there is about 4 crystal sparkle MR cards per case, whereas you will be lucky to get 1 MR holofoil card per case

Thanks for clarification. It’s a bit confusing to learn everything but I think I got it now.
It is a little weird that MR HF is more rare than MR gemstone refractors, and that they call the MR HF ‘refractors’.

Dang so two of three of my boxes had CS MR when it takes about 24 boxes to find two. Plus the gemstones, not bad at all. I guess I’ll expect less from my next two lol.
