The more energy those paid fudders invest, the more I  trust in Vericoin. A lot of people must be very scared that VRC will succeed.

People sell their VeriCoin because
a) there is no innovation, and therefore Vericoin is just one of the 500+ BTC/LTC clones
b) investors feel the developers abandoned the coin by working on other projects
c) there were too many empty promises and the enough is enough

That's why the price is 4.9K and there is zero chance to turn this ship around.

There was never a better chance to make money. I  expect another BTC in about 12 hours and I love the low price. There's no better coin around, no matter what all the paid fudders in here write.

Whatever delusion you have about this thread, you have to answer one simple question, if everything is wonderful then why the price is 7.0k and the volume is 3 BTC?

What a great chance to buy more VRC! That's what I do.

If that's true one the price would go up and two the volume would go up.  There is no significant amount of vericoin being purchased this coin is basically dead with broken promises of developers working yet there focus is where there getting paid and thats on archcoin

It's not that easy to buy BTC in Germany. I just bought one BTC and it takes about a day to get it. Then I buy VRC @Cryptsy. Beleive it or not, I don't care.

My point about anon was, that it was voted out (i did not say i wanted anon added)  , this cloud seems much worse to me.
What the hell are you talking about ?
The Datacenter i was talking about is how u would provide quality of service.
So you are saying you need a datacenter to create good QoS to something that is not even out yet ? Really ?
All those sharing apps u mention how many of those pay u actual money to share?
Once again it is not even out yet, could be 0 could be thousands.
They would be the internet providers that your stealing money from.
Holy Shit really ? You don't pay for your bandwidth ? Those billion dollar companys ? Is that who you are worried will not get a cut?
I know you might think stealing  a few pennies from that big company is not so bad i disagree.
Cry us a river, great now we know you care more about these big corporations then yourself.
It completly taints vrc by providing such a service.
Everytime you open your mouth you taint VRC

and clearly the market agrees with me or i with it.
ROFL how is this clear? Markets are all down, oh wait yes the market agrees with little you. When Whitney Houston sings do you think all the songs are about you also ?

Spam more  "anti" fud blabla , instead of explaining to me and everyone else still holding this coin why this isnt true.
Why what isnt true ? I am also a VRC holder, I have no idea what you are saying

Saying VRC did well past month is simply not true we got a little supernet bump and now we are down where it was before.
Many of us dont care about the price, INNOVATION is doing well... yes. Price is down so what. What coin is not down. If you are swing trading do not cry about your loss, because 1 year from now IF the price flys up THEN WHAT ?

The coin is doing great, I see the developers working hard regularly. Stop your silly FUD because if you did hold VRC you would be asking more relevant questions like "How does it work... I am interested" or "How will the bandwidth work" actually if you were truly a vrc holder you would not even be here you would be with all of us in https://www.vericoinforums.com.

again u just attack without answering intentionally misreading everything because u dont have the answers and come back with this BLa .. if u think im  a FUdder there must not be many people on your side ..
well Gl .. ill leave this thread sell of the few btc of vrc i got left .. because i dont need this shit ,,
ah well at least u didnt just start screaming faggot faggot like ur buddies did last time ,, gl im out .

@Barabbas

Is it your buy wall at around 8000? Were you the guy who bought about 70 BTC of VRC in the last weeks? You are trying so desperately to talk the price down, it must be you. If not, you get paid for writing books in here. If both is wrong, someone else invested about 100 BTC. Sorry, but all of this gives me more confidence in VRC than you could destroy with your negativity.

ok, so I installed vericoind on my raspberry-pi.
It is build without UPnP support - RPC-Port 58683 is forwarded manually.

It is running for a few days now, but no coins are on stake (in the wallet are 1000 VRC).

I checked the connections with
Code:
netstat -a
and it seems like I do not get any connections on port 58683. (I have 5+ connections to peers at 58684 though.)

Sometimes the following line is included in the output:

Code:
Proto    Recv-Q  Send-Q    Local Address         Foreign Address         State
tcp           0       0    localhost:47382       localhost:58683         TIME_WAIT

So it seems the connection gets terminated on my side, but why?

Sorry if the question is silly, maybe there are other reasons, why the coins do not stake.(?) - any suggestions/answers are much appreciated.

EDIT: I have my coins staking now - but I still do not get connections at port 58683.

That makes sense because the network is on 58684, the PoW phase rpc port was on 58683.  So you are all good it seems.

OK. Thank you very much for your answer.

So then my next silly question would be: Should I forward port 58684 and not 58683 in my router? Or do I not need to forward any port at all?

By the way, over night I generated 0.7 VRC with 1000 VRC staking. But today there are no coins staking at all and I got 1000.7 VRC shown in balance. Is this normal? Will the coins automatically stake again after some time?

Again sorry for the silly questions, any answers are much appreciated.

If the Mac wallet doesn't work yet, why don't you publish the windows and linux wallets? For the three percent apple users all the others have to wait.

When will the new wallet be released?

We are down to one minor formatting bug on Mac. All other tests passed with flying colors and bugs resolved.

Cool, thank you. Can't wait for it  Smiley

@ ereborltc: nothing, just impatience because of the low price. Simply forget it, I hope we can install the new wallet soon.

The entire Escrow Fund now belongs to the VRC community!

So there goes ALL the FUD out the window.

We appreciate what James brings to the table and hope to continue a solid partnership going forward.
We'll still be asking for donations to increase the Escrow as that will help the community in a lot of ways down the line but yeah… this is a WIN/WIN.

Smile. Looks good on ya. Smiley

@VeryVeriViral

A win win for the community but I dont understand why should james do all this and not get rewarded for it? What would be his motivation to actually make it happen ?

I can't speak for 'James' but he did just release an IPO on his SuperNET tokens on bter.com over the weekend. It raised 3,000+ BTC which only a small % actually goes in his back pocket. But if I were to guess he wants his SuperNET project to be as valuable as possible and he is leveraging some of the tools vericoin has in it's back pocket (like the relationship with moolah.io) to make his project as best as it can possibly be.

This is just a complete guess but yeah I agree with the point you're trying to make; there has to be something in this for him to have him dedicate the time to this.

thanks for you r reply. Have been very busy so I didnt see your post until now. I can share your thought about this, but will it be enough. I dont know exaclty what the motivations of james where to donate the reward to the community but I think although there are people who don't like money as much as other people, facts are that to live you need money, if james is to develop for vericoin its going to cost him time and therefore money so wont this be a bad thing in the long term?

don't think money is an issue with james these days Wink

Maybe not for James, for me it is  Roll Eyes

Hey guys just wanted to give an update. We have used this relativley low volume, low interest summer to really work on the backend, make strategic partnerships, build the infrastructure, and a build a new wallet UI, a new foundation. The new wallet is on the main branch of github if your on Linux, it's in its final form. We are making some minor formatting details universal across all operating systems and tweaking things here and there for optimal performance and experience, till it's just right. Then we will release final builds for the three OSes. Thanks for being there with us through thick and thin, it doesn't go unnoticed and is appreciated. After the release we will do a hangout and update everyone on the new stuff and goings on behind the scenes. I believe thin is behind us and I am excited about the future of VeriCoin and hope you are too!

First thing I saw was a hangout with the three devs. I did some more research and decided to stop dealing and invested all my savings in VRC. I'm pretty sure it was the right decision. I'm very glad looking forward to the new wallet and the coming hangout. Thanks to all devs for the awsome job you are doing.
