1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Bticoin core recover wallet from bitcoin address on: September 07, 2015, 10:49:02 AM
Hi,
I have used bitcoin core for two years. I just upgraded it to latest version 0.11 (64 bit windows 8.1) and now it does not start any more and I get an unrecoverable error. I tried to reinstall it many times and finally I cancelled both program and data folders. So now I have a fresh working bitcoin core, but without my wallet. I tried to trivially copy my wallet (which is updated on May) inside the data folder, but it does not work. I know my bitcoin addresses, but I do not have access to import keys. How can I do to recover my wallet?
Thank you
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Mining with multipool and nvidia titan GPU on: July 15, 2014, 04:24:15 PM
Hi,

I'm new of mining and bitcoin. I would like to know if mining is still profitable in term earning/cost (hardware and electricity). I have three video cards and solar panels, but I don't want to waste energy. The video cards are: nvidia geforce gtx Titan GK110, geforce gtx 670 GK104 and geforce 8400 gt Smiley. I would like to use the mining multipool https://www.multipool.us/index.php. What is the best software for mining on linux? Cudaminer or other?

On the web I found a lot of configurations for various GPU. Are these parameters good for Titan? cudaminer -r 10 -R 30 -T 30 -H 1 -i 0 -m 1 -d 0 -l K14x32  --no-autotune -o stratum+tcp://eu.multipool.us:12222 -u Username.Worker -p Password or these are better cudaminer -d 0 -i 0 -C 2 -l K14x32 -o stratum+tcp://eu.multipool.us:12222 -u Username.Worker -p Password?

What is the best scrypt or Scrypt-Adaptive-N?

I'm sorry for my trivial questions.

Thank you

I found that the best parameters for Titan are these cudaminer -r 10 -R 30 -T 30 -H 1 -i 0 -m 1 -d 0 -l K14x32 --no-autotune or these  cudaminer -d 0 -i 0 -C 2 -l K14x18.
What is the best mining pool?

Thank you
