1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 1% of disposable income goes to gambling – Too Much or Normal? on: September 18, 2025, 08:45:29 PM
Now if putting 1 percentage into consideration we can say after paying your taxes and you could allocates one percent to gambling is not bad and of course it's always advisable to allocate some specific amount to gamble, let it be within 1-5 percent of monthly income depending on how much your are earning per month that could let you release such amount to gamble, otherwise 1 percentage is perfectly suitable for gambling and no matter roughly you could gamble that amount is pretty fine to gamble with.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which can be more addicting? on: September 18, 2025, 08:33:20 PM
So what do you think gets someone more addicted?

People are more likely to become addicted if they do it too often, in any activity not just gambling, so those who gamble with small amounts but every day are more likely to become addicts than those who only do it 1-2 times a year, it is not the amount they lose or win that makes them addicts. But that doesn't mean that gamblers who frequently bet are addicts because addicts are those who do an activity but it ruins their life.
Of course that is right! Any activity that involves regularity or continuously often attracts addiction and the worst thing is that they wouldn't know when they gets addicted and that is one thing that is common within gamblers that they don't record. When they keeps gambling it gives them that chances to start thinking about how they could make a life changing opportunity from gambling where they could be tempted to always gamble in order to meet up with their desired amount without knowing that they are gradually falling into addiction.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your funniest gambling story? on: September 18, 2025, 08:22:11 PM
Kids are very naughty people because when they see you playing around with your laptop they would want to also try out what you were doing without them knowing that you weren't joking over there, but the funniest is that they wouldn't act as if they had interest in what you are doing but immediately you space a bit you would see them doing exactly what you were doing and you will get surprised on how they got it perfectly they way you were doing it. Just thank your maker that you didn't had enough money in balance before leaving your pc, next I will also advise you to always lock your screen it's very important.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: From $0.9B to $10.9B: Sports Betting Skyrockets in the U.S. on: September 18, 2025, 08:08:41 PM
This growth could be either most of the gambling site are now accepting cryptocurrency and since the acceptance of cryptocurrency in gambling site especially Bitcoin, gambling site has been making a tremendous growth over the past few years especially online casinos.
Of course, there could be chances that this growth could be as a cause of legalization and more adverts over every where and in most of the state as well.

7  Economy / Reputation / Re: Red flag on Go-Go.exchange, seized $11K USDT of a user. on: September 16, 2025, 02:55:03 PM
This is one thing about this exchanges especially those exchange that keeps saying of none kyc. They will indirectly allows you to make deposit on their site and whenever you have traded or exchange the said coin to a preferred coin and wanting to make withdrawal that is when they will start frustrating their users digging out policies that I know weren't necessary. They would use that to back themselves up against allowing people to make withdrawal from their site, now the good thing is that the victim has admitted that he didn't read their ToS and he agreed with it but at the first why they claimed to be a none kyc exchange?
8  Economy / Speculation / Re: An analysis of analysing. Is speculation on crypto markets worthwhile? on: September 16, 2025, 02:09:07 PM
There are a lot of threads here, there is a lot of activity on telegram and trading view and everywhere regarding charts, trends, indicators and general speculating. Still, I believe that a very small minorty of users ask themselves the fundamental question. Is speculation on Bitcoin and crypto markets even worth your time? I believe that it is not, and here are my main arguments.
When we talks about speculation we are talking of things we don't see but yet believe that it would certainly or likely to happen with the predetermined given time or period, it could years to come provided it results to what we feels or closely to we thinks about it then we can say that is speculation or speculative.
When people invest or hold big shares of Bitcoin what they do is to give hope to people who is around them, make all sorts of post and noise just to attract people and make them think everything gonna happen as it's planned and for sure that would stir up the market making the price to rise above expected.
9  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: WINNA.COM Funds Frozen , No Response on: September 16, 2025, 08:28:12 AM
Sometimes I do not know how casinos operates do behave and reason most times, just take a look at the screenshot above after refusal to allow him make withdrawal of his funds they are still encouraging him to continue with their casino and also passed kyc after they had showed him a bad behavior. Just tell me, why on earth would someone continue to use this site again, after laying allegations of how his bet was unusual and found violating their service and they still encouraging to using their casino products, to cry louder even a mad man can't continue with them anymore.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we be concerned big firms and countries are hodling more bitcoin? on: September 16, 2025, 08:14:26 AM
There is nothing that concerns the institutions and countries about decentralization, what that concerns them is that they see bitcoin having the potential to increase more in price and marketcap just like how gold is and they are buying it because of that which can be a very good alternative to the United States dollars that they are all having in their reserves.

We should forget about bitcoin manipulation with how huge bitcoin marketcap is right now and what has been seen over many years that bitcoin has only increased after a long period of time. Those huge holders for now are preferring to just buy so that can encourage people to know that bitcoin is not an asset that can just be dumped like those altcoins (shit coins) but an asset that its price will continue to increase.
Of course there are people who still don't believe that Bitcoin has come to stay and they sees it as a manipulative asset that can easily be dumped at any given time. Usually, those institutions and private companies or countries that has ventured into accumulating Bitcoin while other firms and countries turns it into reserve funds are in one way encouraging adoption and when people began to see the adoption and acceptance it would directly start boosting the interest of those who are still doubting about the originality of Bitcoin and not like all those pump and dump coin they usually see and people keeps lamenting about their losses over their investments.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which can be more addicting? on: September 15, 2025, 09:35:18 PM
Of you know that placing bet every day is more addictive irrespective of how little is the amount you are using to gamble it would boost your desires to regularly gambles every moment, but if you do that once in a year or in 6 months you can be able to have total control over how you gambles.
That is why it's always advisable to gamble and as well space the gambling site to reduce how often one could become that addicted to gambling.
12  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: What is your opinion? on: September 15, 2025, 09:23:24 PM
He also said that they have been doing p2p deals for almost 6 months and all their p2p trades have been going fine. Said that if I want he will share me the vendors contact. He said if I want to trade I will chat the vendor on Whatsapp then the vendor will come online on the exchange and then we book our trade there.

So should I go ahead and take the number?
I wanted to do something like dat by collecting a vendor number and doing our trading but when I checked it the price differences is very big so I stopped using different vendor. And e no dey save at all because the person always want you to send the coins first before him pay which make the trading more dangerous.
So I still advice using exchange but if you know the person face to face like di way I do sometimes with some guys e go dey okay but if not it is not advisable to deal with WhatsApp vendors. The risk there is more higher than the exchange.
What now happens to the exchange we do use to trade our coin, like the p2p service those exchange offers to us?
Usually, anything outside exchange or that I don't know the person one on one I wouldn't go in any agreement with that person and even in forum here no matter how reputable you are if I don't sense that quality in that person I would go ahead having any deal out there because I know stories may rise up.
13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My current analysis for BTC possible bounce or breakout today!!! on: September 15, 2025, 09:09:36 PM
What's the support to watch so we will know it will fall below the level of $106,000 - $108,000?
It seems that we fell from $115,000; it just continues to dump. From the recent peak around $124,000, this seems the lowest dump it has gotten so far. Could be more or already best opportunity to buy the dip.
Of course the market has been facing a strong resistance where the price fell below 113k to even 112k if I am not mistaken, though the month of August weren't that bullished and same is applicable to the month of September, but currently we have Bitcoin at nearly $115k which it just gained little percentage. Historically the month of August and September has always proven to be a month of bearish but November and December always shows strong support.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you gamble? on: September 15, 2025, 08:49:26 PM
This is simple but it's very important to know why we are gambling. Many people takes gambling as a place to make additional money while gambling, while some people pretends to have said it's a place to catch cruise or ease stress whenever are they are bored.

Usually, almost 98.9 percent of people gambling to make money and even though they all pretended to say that they're gambling to ease stress or seeing it as an entertainment purposes only I would say they are really deceiving themselves because everyone are trying their luck but, the most important thing over there is that one must gamble with what they can afford to lose that is why many people are saying that they took it as an entertainment purposes.
You getting is wrongly on the set of people that have it that they are gambling to ease off stress and boredom, this could have been their main driver for gambling in the initial but it does not mean they will not entertain making money from it by virtue of their luck. It is an additional thrill when you win your bet it doubles the adrenaline rush, that is what makes making money from gambling an inescapable necessity to the gambler who gambles for fun and he who gambles specifically for spoils. Either ways you must have to indulge with clinical discipline to not fall into addiction.
You know there is something people must understand about gambling, and yes it's true that we must not focused on what we gained in gambling rather the fun we derived from it. But one thing most people usually do is that is as if those who are gambling to make money are getting it wrongly instead they should gamble for fun, which we knew very that everyone has their motive of gambling and even though we all preached to gamble for fun that doesn't mean that people wouldn't focused on winning.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will rise of BNB coin affect it gas price? on: September 15, 2025, 12:48:17 PM
Like we knows before, I could remembered then when ethereum gas was far way cheaper but as the price keeps increasing it's automatically affected transactions fee where it wasn't usually low at its making people to panic over the gas, this led to sourcing alternative which is BNB many projects where migrating to BNB Chain because of its lower fee in terms of transactions. Now BNB is becoming that large in price and I would want to know if this would also affect the gas price of BNB where people could start complaining about gas fee or they would also work on the gas fee? Yes of recently the BNB price has been showing strong support making BNB to hit 920$ which very very close to hit $1k per BNB.

If you are using Binance exchange I guess you won't get any issue with fees especially if you are using BNB for trading or do some transfer in their platform.

But if you deal BNB on other platforms maybe you can feel that fees became expensive. Since there are exchange set high withdrawal fees on BNB, you can see the possible fees asked by different exchange here https://withdrawalfees.com/coins/binancecoin

BNB is really doing good and its like there's huge chance that it will hit $1000 this year.
Most of the exchanges charges high but this is not applicable to their exchange Binance as it's charges lower than it does.
Yes you are right, the possibilities of getting that price range and even above is extremely very possible because the reduction of its total supply could boost the price above expected and this has just begun, maybe before this year runs out we could likely see BNB swimming above 1.5k who knows it might get to 2k.

I’m already addicted to gambling and can't stop right now, but at least I’m trying to control how much money I spend and manage my greed. I started gambling out of curiosity, after a friend told me about a game that could help me earn money. But in reality, it wasn’t like that. At first, I had a good win rate, and it felt promising until I realized that even with a high win rate, all my capital could disappear in a minute because of greed.
Another thing is how to manage greed, most people found themselves in what they are doing right away is a cause of greed which we know that as responsible gambler we should know when to apply our stop limit, instead you would see some gamblers being controlled by emotions where they will keep chasing what they had already lose without knowing that the more they keeps changing what they had lost the more they also kept drowning and gets emptied by the casino.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Big teams always on the refs’ side? on: September 14, 2025, 11:10:33 PM
Though they referees acts on instructions and of course they wouldn't have to favor any team, in fact favoring the bigger team could likely raise suspicion if they have been paid to rig the match in favor of the big team, same thing goes to the smaller team, in fact is the worst to do. That is why they try as much as possible to make sure they didn't acts in favor of any team or clubs.

I disagree with you. The gamblers you mentioned gamble to make money, I think it's not a statistic, maybe it's your own opinion. You expressed your opinion but I think a large number of people don't gamble to make money. I don't know exactly how many gamble just to make money but I think it's a lot lower than the number you mentioned. When I first started gambling I gambled for fun because I was an apprentice at the time. At that time, my intention was just to have fun, most of my mate were not really interested in making money. I gamble even in my professional life but I don't gamble just to make money.

For example, one thing you should think deeply, if you go to a platform where your expenses are more than your income, then you definitely shouldn't go there. So I think most gamblers don't gamble just to make money, entertainment and winning are both in it.
Can you be happy losing your weekly payment for 1 month using it to gamble without winning? Would you still continue gambling if you don't make winning?
Your answer to this question determines if you would disagree with me or not.

You know most time we just have to reason carefully before we reacts over things, and I must still say that the best way to gamble is by using 1-5 percent of your income to gamble with this you wouldn't attach any hard feelings to it. But telling me that people do not gamble to make additional money is a fatal lies, do not just try to cover up the whole thing with "gambling for fun" and like I asked you can you be able to lose your weekly payment for 1 month or 3 months without winning?
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your perspective on the increasing number of casinos? on: September 13, 2025, 09:53:40 AM
One thing you should understand is that whether physical casino or online casino people could still get addicted irrespective of their position and profile. Publicity doesn't affect gamblers to ether gets addicted no matter what matters most time it's their mindset that truly defines a gambler. You mindset towards gambling could be of becoming millionaires through gambling while but without knowing that it doesn't work that way. So, setting limits to yourself could also help you to control and reduce addiction.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos forcing KYC after big wins, legal or scammy? on: September 13, 2025, 09:02:27 AM
This is the reason that it can often seem like you are targeted after a big win, but the reality is you just reached a certain threshold that started to require further detail. That threshold might be variable based on a bunch of different factors like country, IP address location, specified age, etc.
I wonder why they don't list the factors they consider to flag someone. If they made it public, would it really make scammers improve how they trick the casino? Other than changing IPs and so on, what other factors that a user exploit from a casino? Not to mention most casino never share their data at all, so it is hard to trust their judgment without any verification. With how gthe overnment forced people to do KYC for every little thing nowadays, surely it isn't a big demand to ask what data they collect and use.
If those factors where outlined then they wouldn't  have had any power over some people and I think those things were hidden victimized their so called Gambler, although some of these where outlined on their ToS but most time the said gamblers does not push that much read things in terms of service Page.
