- This package contains a Windows application (client/Windows side) and a system that runs on PHP (server/website side, optional installation but recommended for businesses)

SERVER SIDE:

The server side makes it possible to accept image uploads anonymously or through a user account and organizes the images into their corresponding user folder. It simply has an account system that retrieves data from a MySQL database (sql file attached into the package to install the database) so users can login/register and upload images through the client (Windows application) only. Other functions like forgot password and security question/answer, etc are not implemented. The account system is secure and uses PDO MySQL driver to avoid SQL injections. It also uses login tokens to avoid simultaneous logins.

Once the user is logged into the web account, he can remove the uploaded images or share it with his friends through a link.

CLIENT SIDE:

The Windows application is used to capture images from your local (the machine running the application) screen, you specify the region to capture or you can capture the whole screen. Then the image captured can be saved onto your hard drive or/and be uploaded to a website (your website). You have to register to keep track of your images, otherwise images can be also uploaded anonymously. You can also use the client to keep track of your uploaded images (users only), open them or remove them. The client supports a hotkey to be pressed even when the focus is not on the client, the user can edit the hotkey.

note: Uploading images is only done through the Windows application only.

REQUIREMENTS TO RUN:

.NET Framework 2.0 or above (Windows client)
PHP and MySQL (Server side)


SETUP REQUIREMENTS:

Notepad
Visual Studio (for compiling the client side with the new connection parameters)

Setup will take 5 minutes on both client and server side. I will be happy to set up the client side for you if you don't have Visual Studio!
