1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero's official fundraising (CCS) wallet drained of 2675.73 XMR on: November 03, 2023, 04:53:55 PM
Do you really think, that someone from Monero users here can answer ? This is Monero wallet developer question, not wallet users.
2  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Send hospital ships to Gaza on: November 03, 2023, 04:44:31 PM
The problem is that countries do not have such ships, except USA & China navy. And USA & China navy is not very interested in Palestinian civilian medical care, because I do not think that Palestinians know English/Chinese language. How can doctors speak with patients ?
3  Economy / Investor-based games / Double Bitcoin Project - From 0.00003 BTC To 1 BTC - Easy & Fun Project on: November 03, 2023, 04:33:13 PM
There are many people in the forum, who want to make some profit with Bitcoins. But there are a lot of scams too, so people invest Bitcoins and loose them.
In fact - no hope, which is very sad thing, therefore I present easy & fun project to get 1 Bitcoin from nothing. I think something can be also positive, even if there are a lot of scam profit projects.
So here is the possibility:
Invest 0.00003BTC/$1 in Bitcoin and get back 0.00006BTC/$2 + your transfer fee, then invest 0.00006BTC/$2, and get back 0.00012BTC/$4 + your transfer fee and so on up to 1BTC/$34800 - so at the end you will receive 1 Bitcoin. Transfer fee - your real transfer fee, but not more than 0.0001149BTC/4$ for a single transfer ( 0.0001149BTC/4$ fee could be enough ). But if the real transfer fee will be higher, then you will get it back.
All transfer transactions will be in this thread too, so you can check everything by yourself.
This project will be slow, you can not get back BTC fast.
How much you can loose ? - just 0.00003BTC/$1 + transfer fee.
All negative replies will be deleted - I do not need your views on possible scam, because member can loose only 0.00003BTC/$1 + transfer fee, which is nothing in fact. And this project is more for fun, than something serious.
So, if you will be interested, I will make this project just for fun - so now all depends from you.
Even one member for the project will be ok. At current stage - max 3 members, who can participate.
All members, who decide to participate, need approval before investing. Do not invest, without approval. If you are participating and investing, you agree, that you can also loose and not receiving back your invested BTC, transfer fee and profit.

Because of legendary member Stalker22, which gave me negative trust, project is stopped. So forum members had the possibility to earn 1 Bitcoin, which is $34800, and now they will get nothing.
4  Other / Politics & Society / No Bread In Gaza - Killing For Food Will Start In Two, Three Days on: October 24, 2023, 05:54:23 PM
Emad Abuaassi, a Palestinian who moved to Gaza from Blackpool in the UK just under a year ago, says he has been living with more than 50 members of his family in his brother's flat in Khan Younis, Gaza.
This morning he was able to find pasta but no bread.
In a voice note to the BBC, he says: "I reckon in the next two, three days people are going to start killing each other for a bit of food here.
"You go to buy a bit of bread, you'll see people stabbing each other just for the sake of a bag of bread."

7  Other / Meta / Wallet Software Board Need General Wallet Thread - Complicated Task For Admin on: October 23, 2023, 05:37:48 PM
There are many various wallets already and also various problems with them. For example, with Electrum, Atomic and Coinomi wallets.
So would be wise to have the general thread about various wallets in Wallet software board, like this one -
[General] Bitcoin Wallets - Which, what, why?
.
But the problem is that this thread is already in Beginners & Help board for newbies, and to have it in another board too can be complicated task for admin.
May be forum members can help, how to solve the problem ? For example, just make the second duplicate thread, and then make changes in both threads.
8  Other / Meta / Post/Thread Writing With AI - For Faster Signature Campaign Rewards - Easy & Fun on: October 20, 2023, 06:10:50 PM
To make forum life more easy and modern, posts and threads writing with AI ( Artificial Intelligence ) could be nice gift for all forum users. AI using in Bitcointalk forum can be also real life saver, when you need to make more posts/threads to receive the signature campaign awards.
Fake reality/spam posts/threads are already presented in the forum, so AI using just improve the fake reality/spam in more modern way.
Plus forum admin probably will be happy with full AI implementation in the forum, because AI currently is the top trend in the Web. AI using in the forum for post/thread writing can be also good advertising for new forum members, who want to use something advanced & new & not seen elsewhere.
For example, here is the forum member thread -
Lim Zhe Qin's Investment Philosophy: Exploring the Depth of Wisdom in Financial

May be AI can generate something like this thread, so why not use it.
What you think ?
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Otacon AI — The World's 1st AI Bug Bounty Hunter & Web 3 Security Research on: October 20, 2023, 05:34:48 PM
But why bug bounty hunter for Otacon AI also do not use Artificial Intelligence (AI), then all will be on auto mode. Find bug bounty and receive the reward via AI.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which privacy technique is the strongest? on: October 20, 2023, 12:26:30 PM
Which is better - zero-knowledge proofs or ring confidential transactions privacy technigue ? Both do the same.
I think Monero is more easy to use, send, receive - no problem. Zcash you can only send, receive to shielded addresses, if you want privacy.

Why would Monero be much easier to use than Zcash? I'd say XMR is harder to understand than ZEC because of the way it's designed. It uses three keys instead of two used by coins like Zcash and the others (Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc). ZEC only has shielded addresses, whereas Monero has a public key/address, a spend key, and a view key. If you want someone else to view your transaction history, you'd need to share your view key to do that. Using only the public key won't suffice.

It takes quite a bit of understanding to get your way through the XMR blockchain. And it's even worse with Mimblewimble coins such as Grin, BEAM, and Litecoin (yes, Litecoin added said privacy feature some time ago). I think that's one of the reasons why privacy coins are very unpopular. At least, there are plenty of options to choose from. As long as R&D for privacy/anonymity continues, we should have nothing to worry about. Smiley
If Zcash receiver have public address, what you will do in such a case, if you want the privacy. Therefore I think Monero is more easy to use, at least you can send to receiver. Three keys for Monero is for privacy reasons, so if you want the privacy, there are some harder things too.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How To Make Bitcoin Profit - Tell To Arab People - It Is Haram on: October 19, 2023, 11:09:35 PM
Tell all arab people, also here in the forum, that Bitcoin trading is haram. So they will start to sell it and Bitcoin price will be lower. Then you can buy it, and after the time Bitcoin price will be higher again, so you can profit. Grin
As we know in Egypt, Islamic advisory body make the decree, that crypto, also Bitcoin is haram ( prohibited by Islamic law).
Egypt Islamic advisory decree: https://venturesafrica.com/why-is-morocco-walking-back-on-its-crypto-ban/
Trading halal
But interest % Haram.
I don't know if bitcoin transaction is haram but according to Islamic law all types of interest transactions and high interest APY, gambling with bitcoin etc. are haram. But if you earn profit by trading through bitcoin then that profit will be halal for you. In the eyes of Islam, all types of business and trade are halal, but if interest comes from that business and trade, then that business and trade will become haram.
I had such a good plan for some profit, but probably you are right.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Edited: How To Make Bitcoin Profit - Tell To Arab People - It Is Haram on: October 19, 2023, 10:43:59 PM
Tell to all arab/muslim people, also here in the forum, that Bitcoin trading is haram. So they will start to sell it and Bitcoin price will be lower. Then you can buy it, and after the time Bitcoin price will be higher again, so you can profit. Grin

Bitcointalk forum member Plaguedeath post to this thread: if you're visit to a country where vast majority are Muslims and you said interest or Bitcoin is halal, they will criticize you and not want to hear what you're going to say. They have a thought where Bitcoin is haram because having no physical appearance and interest is always related to immoral

Bitcointalk forum member CageMabok post to this thread: I have also made a study about the halal and haram of Bitcoin for a long time because I live in a Muslim-majority environment. However, after I studied it in depth and also asked the Islamic religious advisor here by giving quite logical and concrete examples, it turns out that Bitcoin is not haram even though it is not stated to be halal.
13  Economy / Reputation / Re: Newbie With First Thread Promoting Trust Wallet - How Much Trust Wallet Pay ? on: October 19, 2023, 06:53:28 PM
Joeyp - do you think it's against the rules - if so, try reporting the thread to moderator and see what happens next?

I don't know if the user was paid or just telling something from his experience - but if you think he's make shilling, then find the report to moderator feature at the bottom right of this thread. Trust Wallet is one that crypto users already know with over 10M download - so I don't know why they chose a newbie to promote them on the forum - [really not sure that's true].
It is not against the rules. Where you see the rules, that members can not post paid fake reality threads ?
14  Economy / Reputation / Re: Newbie With First Thread Promoting Trust Wallet - How Much Trust Wallet Pay ? on: October 19, 2023, 06:04:30 PM
Newbie with first post - thread - Super Impressed with TrustWallet.
<cut>

Oh c'mon, Joeyp! Is this the pinnacle of your creativity? you're really setting the bar low here, aren't you?

We've seen your wild and wacky theories before – at least they were entertaining. This, my friend, is neither interesting nor amusing. Step it up!

This thread is entertaining - paid fake reality threads.
15  Economy / Reputation / Newbie With First Thread Promoting Trust Wallet - How Much Trust Wallet Pay ? on: October 19, 2023, 05:14:26 PM
Newbie with first post - thread - Super Impressed with TrustWallet. (ex-Exodus wallet user) Almost lost $400,000 advertise Trust wallet in the forum.
This is really nice and long promoting story, how newbie with $400 000 in the Exodus wallet, move assets to Trust wallet, because of hacking attempt. The story of course, have many positives sides of Trust wallet, which is closed source wallet.
How much Trust wallet pay for this promoting ?
Such stories can be good income for forum members, if Trust wallet or any other wallet/services pay let's say 0.01BTC ( ~$288 ) and more per thread and forum admin agree paid fake reality threads.

17  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why you should choose Adguard instead of others ad blocker? on: October 19, 2023, 03:59:50 PM
First, AdGuard goes beyond basic ad blocking. It also blocks tracking, malvertising, phishing, and more threats. This provides a major security boost you won't find in most ad blockers.
Second, AdGuard handles ads system-wide, not just in your browser. It blocks ads in apps and games on iOS and Android too. This consistent ad-free experience across devices is invaluable.
Third, AdGuard uses significantly less memory and CPU than other leading ad blockers. The lightweight build optimizes performance, especially on mobile. It's snappy and responsive even when blocking ads everywhere.
I do not think, that AdGuard - $5 lifetime priced is better that free uBlock origin ad blocker.
First, malvertising, phishing is blocked with antivirus. Addon can not do that effectively, because large antivirus companies have millions of users, with good databases. Tracking is blocked with browser, if you have good browser, which also have millions of user, so tracking is developed.
Second, forum users mostly use desktops and laptops, therefore iOS and Android ad blocking for them is not important.
Third, less memory and CPU using nowadays for addon is not important in Windows/Linux.
Plus, UBlock origin is much more popular, because it is free, and have localised lists for each country.
The only real and big advantage with AdGuard is stealth mode for Youtube, if it will work.

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Islamic Coin? A Muslim Community Coin 🔥 on: October 18, 2023, 01:29:26 PM
Yes, ranked 2190th out of all 8886 active crypto coins with $0.2805 value. So I do not see any future for this coin, because altcoin market have too much coins already, and transfer fees through ETH network are high.

20  Other / Meta / Re: Local China Subforums - Admin Probably Will Be Arrested And Transfered To China on: October 18, 2023, 01:04:37 PM
There are local China subforums in Bitcointalk and Bitcoin have total ban in China, so forum admin probably will be arrested and transfered to China in future. Possible crime type - Bitcoin promoting for China people. What do you think ?

OP, do you challenge yourself to write most absurd thread on Meta board? This thread is absurd even compared with your other threads.

China as the state can ask to transfer persons from other countries - USA, India, Russia etc. in criminal cases, it depends from international agreements and local Chinese criminal law.

Other country would just laugh at request of arrest & transfer admin of Bitcointalk.
Each day various countries request persons in other countries to be arrested and transfered. It depends from various agreements and laws. There is no place for laugh - ask any lawyer.
