1  Bitcoin / Meetups / Entertainment or valuable experience? on: June 19, 2023, 01:48:59 PM
Hello everyone  Sad
I must say right away, I have already written a similar question to here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5456729.msg62421905#msg62421905

I just wanted to post it here right away, but I missed.
So don't consider it spam, I just need more people to research))

Actually, the question is:
Hello everybody! I have recently started to get interested in blockchain technologies. To delve into this topic, I started looking for information about upcoming blockchain events. And what I found - about 400+ events related to the blockchain : five of them, will be very soon.

And you know, I have analyzed these events, but there is one question left.
Who visits them? Grin

It may not be difficult for you to answer the 5 questions in my questionnaire and tell me if you have had any experience in attending such events)
Thanks! https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdPMs8jbE-k920nat5pyP67Yainr65xg--GtH9o-I9x4BH0sg/viewform

No need for me to add to what people already recommend but why not try something virtual first to get a real sense of what goes on, and whether these sessions are useful for you (or if you're even relevant to them?). Plenty of free conferences to attend, and if you sign up to CoinDesk or similar subscriptions, they like throwing around free tickets.

Personally, meetups and seminars are more targeted (if you don't want to wade through networking). Try this one for free in September, pretty "big": https://blockchain-expo.com/europe/
thanks for the cool advice! Wink

Hello everyone, I have a new question,
In your opinion, is it worth attending blockchain events?

Yes is my answer to you; you can read "My life as a Bitcoin believer." I got more exposed to Bitcoin and stomped into action after I attended the seminar in 2019, which I can say was an eye-opener for me. In my country, I don't miss any seminar or event that concerns investment, technology, cryptocurrency, or health. In such events, you could just grasp one new idea because they say that learning never ends. Even the first time I heard the name "Satoshi Nakamoto" was at an event at which a question was thrown to the audience. Someone answered the question, and that day was when I knew that there was someone with such a name, even though I had been hearing about Bitcoin before then.

Cheers 🥂, Dr.Bitcoin_Strange 👺👺
Thanks for the information, I'll read it. And what country are you in?  Huh

clear answers to one question + answers from bots, thank you for your answer Smiley

In your opinion, is it worth attending blockchain events?
I hope I don't sound as an AI, but: it depends.

- Are you looking to build a career around that, and try to get linked in? Then yes, it's worth it.
- Are you fine knowing that you'll attend in a place where the people become targets for $5 wrench attacks? Then go for it.
- Is there anything you believe you can't find out elsewhere, except in such events? Go.

But in my opinion, it isn't worth it. Let alone, most of these "blockchain events" are organized by people who want to promote their shitcoin agenda.

What do you mean by "where people become targets for attacks with a $5 wrench"?

Last time I asked a question about the best and safest exchanges.
And can you tell me this time which resources it is worth subscribing to in order to track blockchain news, but so that there is no bullshit) Smiley

Hey, everyone   Smiley
I have recently started to be interested in the issue of cryptocurrency, please, tell me which exchanges are considered the safest and most convenient?

DEX is the most safe exchange, Bisq.network is one of the most popular decentralized exchange here which you can buy your Bitcoin safely. CEX always exposed you to risk since you are depositing your assets on wallets that you don’t have a full control. Your balance might be trapped in there anytime if something bad happened on the exchange like the recent event on FTX and more.

Binance and Coinbase are both under lawsuit again SEC while they are the top exchange on crypto. Don’t gamble your funds CEX and start learning on how to use DEX. This will make your crypto experience less exposure on risk.
Thank you, few people have advised me DEX. What are their main disadvantages? More scammers?
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the best career for women on: June 13, 2023, 05:59:52 PM
Shocked And now imagine how such work can affect the female psyche?
Not only is it difficult to consider it a job, since the best way to make money on it is to buy bitcoins or other cryptocurrencies in the hope of their long-term growth and increase in value, and then sell them to make money on the price difference, or also, you can engage in short-term trading, buying and selling cryptocurrencies based on short-term price fluctuations.

Unstable income associated with risks is clearly not the best job for "women", especially to ensure the future for themselves and their child!
