1  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Who are the Reputable Mining Hosting Companies? on: September 05, 2023, 10:51:53 AM
I'm new to bitcoin mining. Looking to make an initial investment of about $10k with more to follow if things go well. My electricity costs at my house are not so great about $.15/kwh, so I'm looking for hosting solutions. When searching for a hosting company, almost all the websites look the same. I know quite a few can be scams. No one lists their prices on their website. Who are the reputable hosting companies? Are there review sites where people discuss their experiences? Is there a way for me to easily compare different hosting companies?

I'm in Austin Texas. It's definitely a plus if I can visit the facility and it's located in Texas.

Thank You in Advance!

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About Altcoins Investment Experience on: August 30, 2023, 12:33:28 PM
I did invest in lots of altcoins and i received many tokens from bounties as reward. I experienced that, most of the tokens turns into shitcoin or dead after a few months. Some Altcoins performed very good for a certain time then all of those lost 90-95% of values and still traded on exchange with so called volume. Thus process is continued. Even top altcoins also replaced by new altcoins. 2017 vs 2023.

Moral: I think BTC and ETHEREUM is better option for investment, Can be trusted blindly, profitable for long. Low Ranked Altcoins, Memecoins and shitcoins are just headache and reason of huge losses in long time. But anyone can invest his money wherever they want.
Yes, you are right. It's good to use memecoins and other altcoins only as a short-term investment. I believe in bitcoin but eth lost its power, imho
3  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: The economy can make mining unprofitable. on: August 25, 2023, 10:13:57 AM
It seems to me mining is not profitable by itself anymore. If during ETH era, it could bring 20$ per day, not it's not more than $6

Where are the predictions like "Bitcoin will definitely hit 100k next year"? LOL
But as for etc price, you will never know, you can only assume
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks offering investing in Bitcoin on: August 18, 2023, 06:58:46 AM
Since they couldn't suppress Bitcoin, some banks are now endorsing investing in it. I remember seeing that I could buy and sell Bitcoin (and other cryptocurrencies if I remember correctly) straight from my business banking app when I was working on financials in some company a while ago. Now I wonder, do they just want to enter the market and profit off of it or are there some other intentions? Since they offer an exchange for business users, could it be possible that the system could be used so the government could actually tax Bitcoin by taxing the company investing in it trough the bank account?

Maybe I'm overthinking this, but when banks are involved with Bitcoin it always seems like an attempt of gaining some sort of control over it or push it to be more centralized in some way. And seeing more and more of them getting involved doesn't really comfort me.

What do you guys think, should banks even be in 'the game'?
Well, BTC is highly volatile, so I don't think it's a good idea, otherwise you plan to hold it. However, I'm not a big fan of banks. So, my answer is no

Truly agree with you! I live in Ukraine and crypto regulations became so strict, so I cannot do almost anything without telling the government. So, I'm not sure if I will be a huge crypto fan in a few years
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is copy trading a viable option for newcomers? on: August 16, 2023, 05:50:24 AM
Copy trading has gained immense popularity in the crypto industry since its introduction. Bitget, being one of the pioneers in this field, remains one of the largest platforms for copy trading cryptocurrencies. Many consider it an appealing choice for beginners, but is it truly effective for those who are new to trading?
In my opinion, it's a great tool that can help you but it won't replace your skills and knowledge. It's just an additional source you can use but not rely on it completely
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When Trading becomes Unfavourable on: August 15, 2023, 11:51:12 AM
There are few factors that leads to unfavourable trading, these factors includes Greed, and chasing a trend, Traders are expected to encounter Challenges during trading and relating these challenges with people's experiences can be the key in solving the challenge,
Sticking to the trading plan is also good to avoid unfavourable trade as changing plans in the middle of a trade Can really lead to a loss in trade.

Totally agree, I've lost much money before understood that. Emotions, trends, "popular" opinions usually do not brings profit but total loss. Own experience and trading skills are the most important things in trading.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do meme coins have a future? on: August 14, 2023, 04:44:37 AM
I'm new in the crypto space and understanding different crypto projects. While the majority of cryptocurrencies I have studied about have some kind of a solution to the existing problem in Web 3.0, DeFi, etc. Recently, I studied Polygon MATIC, which is solving the problem of high gas fees on the Ethereum-based apps.

In the past few days, PEPE, a new meme coin, has gained massive attention in the community. But I actually didn't understand what could be its major objective. Is there any reason to say this meme coin will work for the betterment of the entire crypto and Web3 realm?

There is another new meme coin called SNEK, based on Cardano. What impact these meme coins will create in the crypto space?

I don't understand why meme coins such as Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, and Pepe are so famous and why do people invest in them, wondering about the future of meme coins.
Well, I'm not a big believer in any crypto, except Bitcoin, for as for short-term advantage meme coins are a great choice. While they are popular, benefit!
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is crypto mining still profitable? on: August 11, 2023, 07:19:35 AM
Hey guys! Hope you to share your experience and thoughts
Since ETH switched to PoS on September 15th, 2022 mining ended for me, there's no coins to mine and to earn. But I still have equipment (however, its price dropped in a half), so I'm curious - are there any crypto you can still mine and get income?
Not sure about your country but I live in Ukraine and mining became impossible. Electricity cost is too high and it doesn't pay off (even with solar panels)
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Most profitable PoW coin now? on: August 10, 2023, 08:05:27 AM
My mining experience shows that mining era is slowly dying. Since ETH mining ended, all the equipment dropped in price and now it's just rotting. However, you can become a validator and try to earn there

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Discussion about ETH on: August 08, 2023, 07:52:25 AM
Sometimes I think..
If now we have a fast network with ecology as prosperous as ETH and low tax
Why we need L2 network and ETH..It seems like a deficient network repairing itself constantly.
And POS is without justice that the strong will always be stronger.Blockchain need justice and every one is equal.

I want to see you mates' opinion. And if possibile, please recommend me the best cryptocurrency undervalued now thx. Kiss
Actually, not a big fan of ETH. The fees are not really low. It seems to me they just trying to rob the users after they switched to pos
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading and gambling on: August 07, 2023, 07:40:22 AM
For some time now I've been pondering on this matter, because I see similarity between bitcoin trading and gambling, so I'm wondering whether they're the same thing. My simple definition of gambling is "try your luck", because you don't know what will be the outcome of the game that you staked. Although calculation is involved in gambling, like forecasting and permutations to predict winnings. In the end it is fifty fifty or sixty forty chances of winning. At the same time you can not accurately predict bitcoin , because of it's volatile nature. You're not 100% sure whether you'll win or loose.  Furthermore, I've leant on this forum that it's better to invest in bitcoin, with what you can afford to loose, meaning that it's not safe to invest your main capital. This is where I think that bitcoin is like gambling, because despite the accurate knowledge of bitcoin chart, you're never too certain of making gains, just like in casino, online betting and the rest.

From my observation, people don't have much regards for gamblers, they either see them as lazy people who don't like to work, or people who want to take shortcut to get rich. Although people are entitled to their opinions, but I don't like to categorize bitcoin in this group of " try your luck ". I know bitcoin is of a higher level, it's a decentralized digital currency that you can use to make transactions, at the same time you can cash in when the coin appreciates., or even trade it to make profit.

So having made all this comparisons, do you think that bitcoin can be classified as gambling?
Well, I'm not a gambling person but I'm definitely a bitcoin person. You cannot be 100% sure if you lose or win, that's true. But there are market predictions, there're bullish and bearish markets. So, it's not a total mystery. The more you trade, the more you understand the basics

wow. DNT seems like a very easy and nice product. Can you tell me more?
So, basically I can double my money if I predict the correct BTC price range for the next 5 min?
