1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If everyone is holding their bitcoin, will there be a balance? on: March 28, 2024, 09:33:51 AM
It's worth noting that alongside long-term investors, there is also a group of traders who aim for short-term gains. They are glued to their screens, following every crypto signal to buy or sell (I'm not talking about hype or gossip, I'm talking about real crypto signals that they have developed themselves, based on real analysis, of course.). Most of them use leverage, making their trades bigger than those of small investors. That's why I don't believe that the market can stay still for too long. There will always be trading going on 24/7 Grin
2  Economy / Speculation / Are we in a crypto bubble? Is a possible correction coming soon? on: February 28, 2024, 11:37:33 PM
As we approach the end of February, BTC is reaching new all-time highs not witnessed since 2021. Bitcoin is making significant progress, moving beyond the $ 62 thousand price range and heading towards the all-time high of 68 thousand. This positive movement is supported by a bullish reversal candle pattern called Three outside up on the recent 3-day chart.

Things are looking good so far Wink. However, the increasing trading volume and the influx of inexperienced investors driven by FOMO, leading to hasty buying decisions based on the expectation of reaching new price peaks, indicate characteristics of a potential bubble in the crypto market. The upcoming Halving event in April and the anticipated approval of the spot ETH ETF in May indicate that this bull run will continue throughout this season. Any predictions on whether a BTC price correction is on the horizon? How far do you think the price will go now that it has broken through resistance levels?

3  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Spot ETF's Manipulate Bitcoin's price? on: February 21, 2024, 11:34:40 AM

"Satoshi's Bitcoin is pretty straightforward. You buy it and keep it. That's it.

Spot Bitcoin ETFs are complicated and rather messy. It's not just a third party that we're forced to trust. While Satoshi's Bitcoin removes third parties, this spot Bitcoin ETF thing not only keeps it but even adds more, a whole lot more."  I agree 100%.

This what I say all the time. It's totally out of context for blockchain technology itself. The main purpose was to not rely on third parties, old school banking system, and now we are just back on track with the same things. I never understand the logic
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Can the bullish pin bar candle pattern be used to predict the bull market? on: November 13, 2023, 11:28:44 AM
As April's Halving event approaches, one wonders even more when the expected increase in BTC's value will take place. Are there any specific candle patterns that you know of that can be used in technical analysis to catch the Bull Run ahead of time?  There are those who argue that candlestick patterns called bullish pin bars signal a bull market, but I am not so sure about the validity of candlestick patterns in terms of predicting the right outcome.

Do you have an indicator that you use that you think is useful for accurate predictions in technical analysis? Also, have you come across such a sign in the recent past until today and what are your analyzes?
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long to learn trading? on: October 31, 2023, 11:11:49 AM
It's been a good 2 years for me and I am still considering myself a beginner:) I think it's more about the daily amount of time spent to learn and practice trading.
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to use the Bear Flag pattern and what to look for? on: July 12, 2023, 01:54:00 PM
I am trying to learn how to trade with chart patterns myself too...

What I found based on backtesting flag patterns is that they also fail a lot. However, I did manage to get better results by adding some more rules to my strategy like these candlestick patterns - https://www.morpher.com/blog/candlestick-patterns/ - for entry signals. It proved to work much better than I expected.

Also consider other indicators or patterns for extra confirmation to avoid false signals. Understanding all the patterns is definitely not easy, I am still trying to understand how harmonic patterns - https://www.litefinance.org/blog/for-beginners/harmonic-patterns/ - work but it's a bit complicated. I'd say candlestick ones are much more suitable to start with.

8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Day Trading Bull Flag Patterns on: July 12, 2023, 09:35:38 AM

I'm interested in day trading but I am still not so experienced so I am having a hard time to understand the indicators for the entry and exit points. Especially, the chart patterns. Many pages, like this one https://www.warriortrading.com/momentum-day-trading-strategy/#toc4, say that bull flag pattern indicates a good time for the entry.  But I haven't come across any practical advice on how to interpret the chart patterns. Are there any decent cheat sheets or videos you guys have for chart patterns?

yalniz cok iyi anekdot
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you come up with reliable predictions for prices? on: June 29, 2023, 12:20:22 PM
Your question can be funny because this is not a place where you can learn everything you think you want learn. This is not a blog or mini sites where you are going to read about Bitcoin or cryptocurrency. What you are going to get here is opinion on how to embark on your journey to know how to make predictions as a trader. The market is very sophisticated and you don't have to be too relax asking for people to help you with what you should read by yourself with bothering anybody. You can make research about what you want to know and that's going to help you.

14  Other / Beginners & Help / How do you come up with reliable predictions for prices? on: June 27, 2023, 01:16:57 PM
I've seen a lot of you looking at Bitcoin charts and trying to predict prices. Do I have to remember certain rules or be really good at technical analysis to make accurate predictions? What tools or methods do you use to predict prices? I have enough time and I'm excited to learn the strategies you suggest so I can understand the market better.

I have seen some suggestions under some headings but they are too technical for me,(like this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1493.0) Do you have more beginner level suggestions?

"If you log on to this forum just to ask a question like "Is this the right time to invest in Bitcoin?" Actually you can just ask a question like that to your friends who are talking about cryptocurrency. But it doesn't matter if you want to ask here because this is a very common discussion forum for everyone and at this point I will give the answer "YES" now is a very good time to invest in Bitcoin. "

Unlike my friends, who just talk without knowing much, I decided to ask in this forum because I thought the people here would be more experienced and could provide better advice. I have a lot of respect for the opinions of those who have more knowledge than me. Thank you!
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Factors that's why others are hesitant to start in crypto on: June 23, 2023, 11:21:30 AM
Humanity has always been afraid of the unknown. Bitcoin is also an unknown for many beginners like me. That's why I agree with you. If it was more simple to explain and learn, beginners would move more quickly. There are even people who talk about Bitcoin all the time but still haven't invested.
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: is bitcoin a good chance for the future on: June 23, 2023, 11:13:54 AM
I have the same doubts. I always think that maybe it will fall further and then I will buy it, and then it goes up and I miss an opportunity again.
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Is it too late for newbies? on: June 23, 2023, 11:04:35 AM
Hello guys,
I'm happy to be part of this community, and so far I've realized that everyone is more experienced than me, so I don't know how logical it is to ask this question, but I'll ask it anyway.

Is it the right time to invest in Bitcoin?

All my friends are talking about cryptocurrencies, but I still can't wrap my head around it. What would you recommend for someone who has no previous experience? Do any of you have resources that you can recommend to me that will explain cryptocurrencies in the shortest and most simple way?
If you have any success stories you would like to share, I would be very grateful if I could benefit from them as well...
